Abstract

The low independence of these students can also be seen from the problem-solving method used by students when given questions that only use the method exemplified by the teacher. The problem is students who lack confidence (belief) about the extent of their ability to overcome obstacles related to the learning process. There is no creative effort that students try to bring out. This study used a quantitative approach with descriptive methods conducted in class VIII. The population in this study amounted to 114 students, who were then used as a sample of 34 respondents. The results of the study describe the efforts made by social studies teachers at SMP Plus Nurul Huda Pasirwangi in the implementation of learning that leads to the formation of student independence, namely by providing examples, providing motivation by the teacher, and choosing the right method or model. The project-based learning model partially has a positive and significant influence on student independence. The level of the relationship between the project-based learning model and the independence of students is included in the sufficient or moderate level. Thus, the conclusion can be drawn that the significance of the influence of the project-based learning model has an influence on the independence of students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems in social studies learning during the pandemic which is now a concern, namely the occurrence of learning loss in students. Learning loss as a decrease in learning competence in students. Learning loss occurs due to several factors including first, prolonged Distance Learning (PJJ), which after the implementation of a distance or online learning system by the government actually makes the teaching and learning process ineffective. The purpose of this study is to identify that blended learning is a mixture of various learning strategies and delivery methods that will optimize the learning experience for its users. The implementation of this strategy allows the use of online learning resources, especially those based on web/blogs, without leaving face-to-face activities. The research method used is quantitative method with this type of research is Quasi Experimental Design (quasi-experimental). Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques used the normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis testing and normalized gain test to identify improvements in the results of the research conducted. The results of the data analysis show that there is an influence from the application of blended learning to the problem of learning loss in students. Then it shows that students' attitudes towards blended learning-based learning have an effect on problem patterns in the context of learning loss in students.

This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test and post-test nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study were students of class VIII, SMPN 3, Tarogong Kidul. Samples were taken by the purposive sampling technique with one experimental class and one control class. The instruments used in this study were test question sheets and observation sheets. Based on the results of the statistical analysis conducted, the initial abilities of the two groups resulted in the same abilities. Meanwhile, for the final test results, the Asymp.Sig.2-tailed value is 0.000 and is 0.05, meaning 0.000 <0.05, then Ho is rejected. It can be concluded that there are significant differences or learning using effective methods to be applied. The response of students to the crossword puzzle learning method used in the experimental class resulted in a very good response.

The use of learning media using technology is closer to its use by students because, currently, various activities are closely related to technology. Learning with technology can be conveyed through various media or multimedia. The research approach uses quantitative research methods, such as the quasi-experimental design, and the research design uses a nonequivalent control group design. Then the purposeful or judgmental sampling technique. Research data collection techniques using tests identified through pretests and posttests and non-tests through observation, interviews, and documentation studies Data validation analysis techniques use validity tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests, hypothesis tests, and normalized gain tests. The results of the study showed that (1) there was no significant difference in pre-test results between the experimental class and the control class before learning began. (2) There is a significant difference in pre-test results between the experimental class and the control class before learning begins. Abstract

The background of this research is that social studies learning in schools is also not optimal in implementing and familiarizing the experience of democratic, social life values by involving students and the school community in various class and school activities. The purpose of this study is to identify the implementation of the role playing learning method which is still an obstacle in creating effective learning. This is what still causes learning to not be able to achieve the expected goals. The description above is an illustration of how important it is to create active and fun student learning. The research method used is quantitative method with a type of correlation, data collection techniques through questionnaires, observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques through the normality test, simple linear regression test. The results of this study show that the constant value is 14.663, systematically this constant value states that when the value of role playing is 0, cooperation skills have a value of 14.663. While the regression coefficient line is 0.748, the positive value results illustrate that the direction of the relationship between the role playing variable and the cooperation skills variable is unidirectional, thus the regression equation can be written Y = 14.663 + 0.748 x. This means that the value of 0.748 is the change in the regression line, where each unit of the value of the X variable will be followed by a change in the Y value of 0.748

Researchers used quantitative-descriptive methods to describe the influence of the student council role on students' social skills. The collection techniques used are observation, distributing questionnaires, interviews, and literature studies. The data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires were processed using SPSS and analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results obtained are the role of OSIS in SMP Negeri 2 Tarogong Kidul is very good, which means that with the OSIS students are able to give their opinions about a program or problem that needs to be discussed. Likewise, the social skills that have been formed are very good, this is indicated by the ability to control language and expression in every situation that is being faced by students. The inhibiting factors for student council in developing social skills are the lack of social awareness of students, egoism, the influence of the environment outside of school, and the economic condition of students. Meanwhile, the supporting factors that encourage the development of social skills through OSIS are the participation of the OSIS supervisor to direct social activities and the willingness of students to be involved in the event. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it was found that there was an influence of the role of intra-school student organizations on the development of student skills.
