The purpose of the research are kind of code-switching and code-mixing, the factor of the result from the code-switching and code-mixing; and the role of the code-switching and code-mixing in the Indonesian lerning of the seventh F class SMP N 2 Brangsong, Kendal regency. The research used descriptive qualitative method with case study approach.The research used purposive sampiling and snow ball sampling, then the technique of the collecting data by record, report, and interview. Validity test is triangulation theory.The result of the research are: the first, find out 12 code-switching in the javanese is four times and from Arab is 8 times; the second, find out the code-mixing consist of 44 times divided to be Indonesian dialeg from Jakarta is 12 times and english is 6 times; the third, factor of the result from the code-switching and code mixing from the research devided to be 5 factors (a) personal and speaker, (b) the partner of the speech, (c) the place, (d) topic, and (e) function and purpose.

This research aims to describe: (1) contained structure in Kebumen folklore; (2)Â the educational value found in Kebumen folklore; (3) the relevance of educational value on Kebumen folklore with literary learning materials in junior high school. This research includes qualitative research using case study (observation and interview) and analyzing several documents in the object form of folklore study in Kebumen regency related with interview result with resource persons related to folklore, and result of interview with teacher and student. Data analysis techniques using interactive model analysis techniques namely data reduction, presentation, and withdrawal of conclusions or verification.The results of this research are: (1) the story structure that contained in the three folklore in Kebumen Regency includes (a) themes, (b) characters and characterization, (c) background, (d) plot, and (e)the message of the story; (2) the educational values that contained in three Kebumen Regency folklore include (a) the value of social education, (b) the value of moral education, (c) the value of religious education, (d) the value of custom/traditional education, and (e) the value of heroic education; (3) the relevance of educational value to folklore with literary learning materials in junior high school according to the criteria of Basic Competence and Keynote Competence and contains a moral value in it.

The aims of this research are to describe diction (word choise, figure of a speech, imagery of Dari Hari Ke Hariâ€™s novel by Mahbub Djunaidi, and the relevance of the results of studies as Bahasa Indonesia teaching material for the Senior High School. This study is a qualitative descriptive with content analysis method. The result showed that. First, the use of diction (choice words) includes concrete words, connotative words, word greetings or self-names, vulgar words, words of absorption, regional vocabulary, and words with natural reality. Second, the use of language style (Figure of a speech) includes simile, metaphor, personification, depersonification, allegory, antithesis, pleonasme, periprasis, anticipation, epanortosis, satire, paradox, climax, anti-climax, allusion, atonomation, eroteris, asyndeton, polisedenton, epizeukis, anaphora, and epystrofa. Third, the use of imagery includes visual imagery, motion imagery, olfactory imagery, tactical imagery, and auditory images. Fourth, Dari Hari Ke Hariâ€™s novel can be used as a teaching material in high school literature class XII curriculum of 2013, ie at base competence understand the structure and rules of novel text.

This study aims to (1) describe and explain the realization of the following Griceâ€™s cooperative principles; (2) describe and explain the realization of the violatting Griceâ€™s cooperative principles; and (3) explains the relevance of Grice's principles of cooperation as teaching materials for high school speaking skills. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Sources of data was a transcripted document form. The technique for taking the subject was done by purposive sampling. Data analysis in this study was using the flow model. The results of the study are as follows. First, the maxim of â€™quantityâ€™ of the Griceâ€™s cooperative principle of was the most followed as many as 35 data (59,3%). Second, the maxim of â€˜quantityâ€™ was also the most violated as many as 33 data (48,5%). Third, Griceâ€™s coopertive principles can be used as teaching materials of speaking skills in high school because (1) it provides guidance to students; (2) it provides guidance for teachers in giving score; and (3) it improves effectiveness in the learning process of speaking skills, especially in discussion activities.

This research is a correlation that aims to know (1) the correlation of vacabukary mastery with exposition text writing skills; (2) the correlation of reading habit with exposition text writing skills; (3) the correlation of vacabukary mastery and reading habit together with exposition text writing skills. The sample of this research are 128 students or 28% from 446 students, the total of population. The sampling technique that used is cluster random sampling. The data were collected using test method ang questionnaire. The rewuirements analysis that used is normality test. Meanwhile the data analysis that used are correlation (simple and double) and regression. The results of this study are: 1) positive and significant relationship of vocabulary mastery with the skills of writing exposition text shown with ry1 correlation coefficient of 0.45; 2) there is a positive and significant correlation of reading habits with expository text writing skills shown with ry2 correlation coefficient of 0.67; Â 3) there is a positive and significant relationship of mastery of vocabulary and reading habits together with the skills of writing expositional texts on the class students shown by the value of Ry.12 of 0.73 and the coefficient of determination of 0.53. Thus X1 Mastery of Vocabulary and X2 Reading Habits together contributes 53% to the skill of writing exposition texts

This study aimed to describe and explain: (1) the aspects of diction used in the novel Ayah by Andrea Hirata; (2) the values of character education in the novel Ayah by Andrea Hirata; and (3) the relevance of Andrea Hirataâ€™s novel Ayah as a teaching material of language and literature in Vocational High School. This study is a qualitative research that analyzes the data in the form of documents with the object of study of novel Ayah by Andrea Hirata. The results of this study are as follows. (1) The diction aspect contained in Andrea Hirata's father's novel includes five types of diction, (2) Novels contain sixteen points of character education values, (3) Novel Ayah is relevant to the learning of Indonesian language and literature in SMK because the aspect of diction and the value of character education in accordance with the learning objectives that have been designed using the Learning Implementation Plan based on the Core Competence and Basic Competence which includes the competencies that the learners must achieve in language and literature learning. Dad's novel can increase students' vocabulary mastery according to language ability, student psychology, and cultural background.

This research is a case study research.. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Source of data used in the form of events, informants, and documents. Data collection technique used are direction observation, interview, and document. The data validity test used is triangulation of source and triangulation method. Data analysis technique used is flow model. The result of this research is description of: (1) the characteristic Indonesian Papuan dialect are divided into linguistic and nonlinguistic elements. The linguistic elements include; (a) phoneme replacement; (b) diphthong replacement; (c) phoneme removal; (d) the use of intonation. Nonlinguistic elements are speech and paralinguistic events; (2) the factors that influence the emergence of Indonesian Papuan dialect are; (a) administrative unity; (b) a specific sense of community identity; (3) the same of geographical area; (d) historical experience; (3) characteristics of Indonesian Papuan dialect has relevance as materials of sociolinguistic subject at Indonesian Language Education Department of Sebelas Maret University.

This research aims to explain: (1) preparation, implementation and assessment of learning, (2) problems encountered in the learning process, and (3) efforts made to overcome problems in the Indonesian Language learning process with Curriculum 2013 in the Class X in SMA N 1 Surakarta and Sekolah Indonesia Singapura.This research is a case study research. Samples in this research are the students of class X IPA III, and X IPA I SMA Negeri 1 Surakarta and students of class X IPA and X IPS Sekolah Indonesia Singapura.The sampling technique is purposive sampling.Technique of data collecting done by observation, interview, and document analysis.Data analysis technique is an interactive analysis model.The result of this research are description about: (1) lesson planning, (2) lesson implementation is not in accordance yet with RPP previously written by the teacher, (3) the assessment of learning has adopted an authentic approach according to Permendikbud Number 23 of 2016, (4) the problems faced are the inadequacy of the RPP with the latest regulation, limited learning resources, limited time and place, limited facilities, limited educators, difficulties in understanding and remembering material presented by teachers, limited knowledge and readiness of teachers, low understanding of Curriculum 2013 to student, and low student learning motivation, (5) the efforts undertaken are the school and teachers trying to follow the development related to the Curriculum 2013.

This study aims to identify errors in the use of language in writing official letter to students SMAYPK Tabernakel Nabire, in the year 2017/2018. The research method used is qualitative research method with document analysis technique. The sample of the research is the writing of official letter of grade XII of SMA YPK Tabernakel Nabire. Sampling technique with purposive sampling technique. Source of data used in the form of the result of writing official letter of class XII students of YPK School Tabernakel Nabire. The result of this research is description about error of usage of Indonesian language in writing of official letter: mistake of language in writing of official letter there are 2 factors that is, morphology factor of syntax and spelling factor. The form of the language error is: 1) the error of writing letterhead, 2) writing letter address errors, 3) misconduct writing, 4) raw writing error, 5) mistakes writing date of letter making, 6) mistake of writing of opening letter, 7) mistake of the contents of the letter, 8) error writing letter number. 9) mistake writing address of letter agency, 10) mistake of writing cover letter. Based on the results of the study declared that the ability of writing official letters to students is still low. Improvements that can be taken is to improve the internal and external processes in learning Indonesian especially writing materials on YPK high school students Tabernakel Nabire.

This research used qualitative research approach with psychology literature review. The data of this research came from the text in the novel Laut Bercerita while the data source came from the results of interviews with teachers, students, counseling and guidanceâ€™s teachers, and the authors. The data collection techniques using document analysis and interviews. The technique of taking research subjects with purposive sampling. Data validity using theory triangulation and data triangulation. Data analysis techniques using interactive analysis models which include data collection, data reduction activities, display data, and drawing conclusion. The research procedure consists of the preparation stage, the data collection stage, the data selection stage, the stage of conducting data analysis (interactive models), the stage of preparing the research report. The results of this research are 1) the novel Laut Bercerita has the completeness of intrinsic elements consisting of 7 elements, 2) the inner conflict in the main character can be understood through Sigmund Freud's theory (Id, Ego, Superego) that is able to be influenced by factors within the character itself or external factors of the people around him, 3) there are 12 values of character education contained in the novel Laut Bercerita, and 4) the novel Laut Bercerita is relevant when used as a teaching material for literary appreciation in SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta and SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta because it contains a lot ofÂ positive values that can be realized for students in real life.
