Abstract

The problem in this research is the less able teachers to develop the learning approach that can activate the students optimally in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to describe and get information about the improvement of IPS learning result by using Inquiry approach. The subjects of the study were students of class IV, amounting to 20 people. The type of research used is classroom action research. Data were collected using an observation sheet and a table of notes. The result of this research is the increase of the average grade value from 73,5 in cycle I to 83 in cycle II. So it can be concluded in this study is to use inquiry approach in learning IPS can improve student learning outcomes   Keywords: IPS Learning Outcomes, Inquiry Approach

Abstract

This research is motivated by the use of inappropriate learning strategies in the learning of fraction story problems in the problem of comparison and scale that results in low student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of Polya Strategy on Learning Outcomes in Solving Fraction Story Problems in Comparative and Scale Problems in Class V SD of Cluster X in Koto Tangah District, Padang City. This type of research is quantitative in the form of quasy experiment design. The design used by the nonequivalent posttest-only control group design. The study was conducted at SDN 15 Padang Sarai, Padang City. Based on the results of the posttest obtained the average learning outcomes of solving story problems in control class students who apply conventional learning is 53.9. And the average value of learning outcomes in solving the story questions for the experimental class students by applying the Polya strategy is 72.4. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test on the real level α = 0.05 obtained t_count = 2.84 and ttable = 1.997, so that t_count> t table then Ha in this study was accepted and rejected H0. It can be concluded that Polya's strategy influences learning outcomes in solving fractional story problems in terms of comparison and scale in class V SD gugus X Kecataman Koto Tangah city of Padang.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the number of students looking less active in questioning, reasoning, teacher-centered learning, students seem not so enthusiastic in communicating the results of their work The scientific approach in integrated thematic learning has not been maximally implemented. This study aims to describe the improvement of the integrated thematic learning process by using a scientific approach in theme 2 in class V SDN 11 Tanjung Alai, Lubuk Sikaping City. This research is a classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this study were grade V students of SDN 11 Tanjung Alai Lubuk Sikaping who were registered in the 2018/2019 academic year with 22 students consisting of 10 male students and 12 female students. The research design consisted of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results revealed that the integrated thematic learning process using the Scientific Approach model in class V SDN 11 Tanjung Alai Lubuk Sikaping, Pasaman Regency, obtained an increase in the learning process. This can be seen from the aspect of the teacher in the first cycle of meeting 1 getting 69.64% with sufficient qualifications and 76.79% at meeting 2 with good qualifications, while in the student aspect meeting 1 obtained 69.23% with sufficient qualifications and 75% in meeting 2 with Good qualifications. Whereas in cycle 2 the assessment from the teacher aspect increased to 96.43% with Very Good qualifications, 96.15% with Very Good qualifications in the student aspect.

Abstract

Ideally a teenager in an achievement school who is seen with high learning outcomes according to the KKM, can adjust to the social environment, behave according to the norms that apply in the social environment of the community, not endanger themselves, and not harm others materially. But the reality in the field is that there are still teenagers who cannot adjust to the social environment, there are teenagers who do not behave according to the norms that apply in society, there are still teenagers who do not excel in school, there are teenagers who endanger themselves, and there are teenagers who materially harm others. Therefore this study aims to describe the family social support, juvenile delinquency, and how the family's social support relationship with juvenile delinquency. This type of research is descriptive correlational which aims to find facts in accordance with the actual situation. The research subjects were 30 students of class VII, VIII and IX of SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Pua, Sungai Pua District, Agam District, West Sumatra. The instruments of data collection were questionnaires for family social support and juvenile delinquency questionnaires using a Likert scale. Data was processed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and to test the relationship of data was analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment formula with the Statical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) program version 16.0. The results of this study reveal that: (1) family social support is in the high category, (2) juvenile delinquency students are in the low category. (3) there is a significant negative relationship between family social support and juvenile delinquency in Sungai Pua State Middle School 1 Sungai Pua District, Agam District, West Sumatra with a significant value of 0.002. Based on the findings of this study, it is expected that BK teachers or counselors can provide assistance in the form of Counseling Guidance services.Keywords: Family Social Support, Juvenile Delinquency

Abstract

The purpose of this study to describe the improvement of learning outcomes IPA model community learning in class V SD N 09 Kampung Melayu The approach is a quantitative and qualitative approach. Data were analyzed with qualitative data analysis model. Observations Learning Implementation Plan in the first cycle, the average values ​​obtained 80.36% (excellent), the second cycleis obtained average value of 91.08% (excellent). Implementation of learning in the first cycle, in terms of teachers achieved an average 70.00% (average), second cycle average values ​​obtained 90.00% (excellent). Implementation in terms of student learning in the first cycleat an average of 70.00% (average), second cycle at an average of 87.50% (excellent).Student learning outcomes in the first cycle average values ​​obtained 71.28% and in the second cycle the average values ​​obtained 84.56%. Abstract

This research is motivated by the low results of studying the volume of geometric shapes and the relationship of cubes and cube roots. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in spatial volume learning outcomes with the Problem Based Learning model in Class V SDN 12 Padang Besi, Padang City. This type of research is Classroom Action Research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research procedures are planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, tests and non-tests. The research subjects were teachers as observers, researchers as practitioners, and 25 fifth-grade students. The results showed that the lesson plan for cycle I obtained an average of 86.46% (B), and an increase in cycle II of 93.75% (SB). Implementation of the first cycle of the teacher aspect obtained an average of 86.9% (B), increased in the second cycle by 96.42% (SB). Implementation of the first cycle aspects of students obtained an average of 83.33% (B), increased in the second cycle to 92.85% (SB). The learning outcomes of the first cycle obtained an average of 73.66 (C), increased in the second cycle to 86.01 (B). It was concluded that the use of the Problem-Based Learning model could improve the learning outcomes of geometric volumes and cube and cube roots in Class V SDN 12 Padang Besi

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of learning mathematics Android-based media to the critical thinking skills of students. Matematika is one of the basic science that has a very important role in the effort to the field of science and technology. More added math may prepare students to apply mathematics that are needed in everyday use. This type of research quasi-experimentalresearch design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all fourth grade learners Al-Azhar Bukittinggi. The sampling technique is done by using purposive sampling, so the class was selected as the control class IVA and IVB class as a class experiment. Before determining the samples, then tested using the analysis prerequisite test for normality and homogeneity. Instruments used in the form of objective tests.Based on the results of data analysis calculations t-test with a level of 0.05 was obtained signifikasn t (2,51) and ttable (2.10). So that t> t table, where 2.51> 2.10. Thus it can be concluded that Ha is received, which is containedthe effect of the use of learning mathematics Android-based media to the critical thinking ability of students learning in fourth grade Denomination Al-Azhar Bukittinggi.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the increase of students learning outcome on thematic integrated learning using PBL. This research was classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The participants of this research were teacher and 22 students of SDN 15 Ulu Gadut Padang City. The results showed: 1. Lesson plan assessment in cycle I was 78.12% then increased to 93.75% in cycle II. Observation on teacher aspect in cycle I was 85.71% and went up to 96.42% in cycle II while on aspect of students in cycle I was 85.71% the increased to 96.42% in cycle II. Affective aspect of students, the were 3 student who showed caring, honestly in cycle I. It increased to 8 students in cycle II. Cognitive aspect, in cycle I was 77.27 then went up to 89.51 in cycle II. In psychomotor aspect in cycle I was 76.70 and increased 83.80 in cycle II. It can be increased the students learning outcomes on thematic integrated learning.  Keywords: PBL, the results of the study, thematic integrated learning

Abstract

This research aim to to increase learning outcomey of class student of IV SDN 15 Taratak Baru Kecamatan Tanjung Gadang Kabupaten Sijunjung in learning sum of integers. This research was covered because the theacher didn’t give the real problem so the student’s achievement is low. Class action research using Pendekatan Matematika Realistik (PMRI). This Approach PMRI use 4 stages (1) introduction stage, (2) model symbolic development stage, (3) explanation and reason stage (4) closing stage. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of comprehension reading skill by using Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) strategy for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 28Air Tawar Timur. Research subjects were teachers as observers, researchers, and fourth graders as many as 27 people consisting of 16 men and 11 women. In the first cycle, I obtained an average score of 60.6, an average reading rate of 75.0, and an average post-reading rate of 74.2. In cycle II the average value of prabaca 78.0, the average value of reading 84.3, and the average value of 85.1 post-reading. Thus reading comprehension with strategy (DRTA) can improve in class IV SD 28 Air Tawar Timur Kota Padang. Keywords: reading comprehension, directed reading thinking activity
