Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy undertaken by the Village Government of Aji Kuning in carrying out physical development. The research method used in the preparation of this thesis is a qualitative descriptive research method and is a field research using data obtained from observation, interviews, documentation and secondary data. The results of the study show that in carrying out physical development the village has several strategies, namely in formulating a vision and mission through a bottom up approach, namely prioritizing community interests, development planning that looks at environmental aspects so that in development it also prioritizes natural disaster management, guarantees apparatus capacity by increasing capacity village apparatus through training and technical guidance, motivating the apparatus so that the competition that occurs can be positive in order to improve the work ethic and establish good communication and coordination with internal and external parties. From the several strategies carried out, it can be seen that the pattern of development strategy used is the pattern of integrated rural development. In the process of implementing development, there are also supporting and inhibiting factors. The supporting factors are the high participation of the village community in the stages of planning, implementation, up to monitoring the evaluation of the results of physical development and the existence of an attitude of transparency on the part of the Village Government in terms of implementing physical development. The inhibiting factor is the lack of human resources, namely technical experts and also the difficulty in obtaining heavy equipment assistance in supporting the development implementation process.

Abstract

This research aims to look at the Strategy of the Department of Youth, Sports and Tourism in Improving the Tourism Zone, the information obtained from the original source is all parties who know about the subject to be studied in the form of words or activities from informants with the results of observations, interviews and documentation. The research results state that the system of the Division of Youth, Sports and Tourism in the Development of Travel Industrial Areas is still not ideal. (1) Accessibility of human resources at the Youth, Sports and Tourism Office of Bontang City has so far not been increased in number. (2) Limited assets for fostering the tourism travel industry in Bontang City are not many, so travel industry goods are also limited. (3) The current framework for vacation spots in Bontang City must actually be shifted. Especially those related to offices and important frameworks needed by guests such as electricity, latrines, clean water, housing, and others. (4) The technique used in creating a tourism travel industry in Bontang City is to make the closest guidelines or guidelines to the tourism travel industry. The real fix includes working on basic frameworks and offices. organized a Travel Industry Mindfulness Training which was attended by the Taman City community, travel business people and several travel industry Alert Gathering (Pokdarwis) events.

Abstract

This study aims to describe Bawaslu's supervision in holding the election for Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Samarinda 2021-2024 during the COVID-19 pandemic and to identify the supporting factors for Bawaslu in holding the election for Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Samarinda 2021-2024 during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was conducted at the Bawaslu Office in Samarinda City. This type of research is descriptive qualitative and this study uses interactive model qualitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that the supervision carried out by the Samainda City Bawaslu in the 2020 Samarinda City Pilkada during the COVID-19 pandemic at the campaign implementation stage was by fielding field supervisors to check the suitability of campaign implementation during the pandemic, at the stage of monitoring campaign funds Bawaslu carried out supervision with supervision file or cross-check the candidate pair's campaign fund data. In the logistics procurement stage, Bawaslu sent field supervisors to review the suitability of Pilkada logistics during the pandemic, while for the logistics distribution stage, Bawaslu sent supervisors to oversee the distribution of l until it was distributed to TPS. Supervision at the voting and counting stage of the Pilkada results at TPS was carried out by placing PTPS totaling 1,962 people at each TPS equipped with smartphones and official reports to document activities during voting and counting. For monitoring the determination of Pilkada results, the supervision is based on valid verified ballots. Factors supporting Bawaslu supervision are Law No. 7 of 2017 Article 104 Letter F, namely participatory supervision, besides that high public awareness of the health program and an increase in the number of TPS, namely 1,962 to prevent transmission of COVID-19.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of work discipline on employee performance at Korem 091/Aji Surya Natakesuma. The data collection technique was through distributing questionnaires to 39 respondents. The data processing technique used in this study to determine the effect of the work discipline variable (X) on the performance variable (Y) is by using simple linear regression and the coefficient of determination. The results of calculations from simple linear regression analysis are as follows constant (a) of 5.041 and regression coefficient (b) of 0.492 with a positive regression coefficient value. It turns out that the effect of work discipline on employee performance can be seen in the coefficient of determination test where the coefficient of determination test shows that the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.789 or 78.9%. So it can be said that 78.9% of the influence of employee performance is caused by work discipline. The results showed that the work discipline variable had a significant positive effect on employee performance at Korem 091/Aji Surya Natakesuma, so the hypothesis proposed was acceptable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of political socialization through the teaching and learning process and the political awareness of Government Science students on political participation. This research was conducted at Mulawarman University with a sample of 2019 and 2020 Government Science students totaling 67 people. Using the technique of Probability Sampling or Simple Random Sampling. Furthermore, research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires online due to the Covid 19 pandemic situation, then analyzed using the Product Moment correlation coefficient, Partial Correlation analysis, Multiple Linear Regression analysis, and Coefficient of Determination analysis. Then after using a series of statistical test results in the results of the correlation coefficient analysis, the relationship between the three variables was obtained, meaning that political socialization through the teaching and learning process and political awareness has a positive and significant influence on political participation. Then by calculating the coefficient of determination it is known that political participation is influenced by political socialization through the teaching and learning process and political awareness of students at Mulawarman University by 30.7% while 69.3% is influenced by other factors that are not included in the focus of this study.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Optimization of the PKK Mobilizing Team in Improving Family Welfare in Bangun Mulya Village, Waru District, North Penajam Paser Regency, namely in planning, implementing and fostering according to the applicable rules and stages. This research was conducted in Bangun Mulya Village, Waru District, North Penajam Paser Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using descriptive qualitative methods. As for data collection techniques through observation and interviews, as well as through books and documentation. The data analysis used is an interactive model data analysis developed by Milles, Huberman and Saldana (2014). The results showed that the PKK Mobilization Team in Bangun Mulya Village, Waru District, North Penajam Paser Regency had made efforts to improve family welfare which could be seen from planning, implementing, to coaching activities even though it was not optimal. This is due to limited community funds to develop the results of the activities carried out by the PKK team, lack of understanding of the community in understanding what has been given and conveyed in the activities carried out by the PKK team, entrepreneurs or home industries are not running optimally because the community is less innovative and creative in developing ideas resulting from training and it is difficult to get young mothers to participate in PKK activities.

Abstract

The results of the study show that the implementation of PATEN in the service of making SKPT in the Bengalon District Office has not run optimally. This was obtained based on the results of research through the actions taken by employees who carry out policies in providing services for making SKPT to residents of Bengalon District, as measured using Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance and Empathy dimensions/indicators. Furthermore, there are also several factors that influence the implementation of SKPT preparation services at the Bengalon District Office, namely the awareness factor and the income factor.

Abstract

This research is intended to find out and analyze the development of ESport athletes carried out by IeSPA Samarinda City, whether the coaching that has been carried out is in accordance with the indicators of organization, facilities and infrastructure, coordination, supervision, and planning as well as to find out the obstacles faced in coaching E-Sport athletes by IeSPA Samarinda City. The results of the study show that the coaching carried out by IeSPA Samarinda City for e-sport athletes in Samarinda has been running with the activities that have been carried out for E-Sport athletes. This is proven by the many matches or tournaments between e-sport athletes held by the IeSPA Kota Samarinda so as to hone the abilities of these e-sport athletes. In addition, the output that can be achieved is to be able to find new seeds for the next level. While the obstacles faced in fostering esport athletes by IeSPA Samarinda City are the lack of funds that can be allocated by IeSPA Samarinda City to KONI, the lack of professional clubs that can accommodate e-sport athletes, and the increasing price of mobile devices as playing infrastructure.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the success or failure of a political party as measured by the recruitment implementation it has developed. The success of implementing this recruitment can be measured from the pattern and process of political recruitment used. The manifestation of the sustainability of political parties is the emergence of members who have the capability and commitment to the dynamics of political parties for the future. This research was conducted at the DPD PKS Office in Balikpapan City. This study uses Lili Romli's political recruitment theory. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using qualitative research data analysis techniques. The results of the study show that the implementation of the recruitment of PKS party members in Balikpapan City has been going quite well. Member recruitment was carried out in a persuasive manner which began with outreach in the form of promotions, social activities and individual activities aimed at showing the existence of the PKS party to the public so that they would be interested in becoming party members. By using an open political recruitment pattern, it is intended that the public can clearly understand the programs of the PKS party and in the process of political recruitment, the PKS party sees the criteria for prospective new members based on a person's educational background or political activities. The process of recruiting party members has been carried out routinely so that it can produce a large number of new members. It has been proven that in the last 6 months, the PKS party has increased in number, namely adding 286 new members. The factor that supports the implementation of the recruitment of PKS party members in Balikpapan City is the existence of a structured organization from the Village to City level so that the implementation can run well. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the lack of infrastructure to campaign for the party and the presence of some members who are still not confident about marketing the party and the condition of some people who still think negatively about political parties.

Abstract

In coal mining, reclamation activities must be carried out by holders of mining business permits. In Samarinda City, there are 3 institutions that carry out reclamation oversight, namely the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (Director General of Mineral and Coal), the Office of Energy and Mineral Resources of East Kalimantan Province and the Regional Reclamation and Post-mining Supervisory Commission. There are 3 main oversight mechanisms, namely, setting standards, observing facts in the field, comparing facts and formulating suggestions. Barriers encountered in supervising reclamation included limited human resources, funds, time, inactive status of mining companies, inactive supervisory bodies, changes in policies on minerals and coal. From the results of this study reclamation supervision is felt to be not optimal due to the lack of supervisors who are directly tasked with monitoring mining locations, difficult access and very long distances make monitoring difficult to carry out. The latest Law on Minerals and Coal has become one of the obstacles for local governments to carry out supervision, this is because the authority of local governments has been revoked. Minimal and sub-optimal supervision has resulted in damage to nature in Samarinda City, adverse impacts in the form of damage to the natural environment, damage to natural ecosystems, abandoned mine pits that have claimed as many as 39 people died in mining pits (voids).
