Abstract

This research aims to analyze the reasons why Lamongan became the area for implementing the green revolution, along with the implementation of green revolution activities and their impact in Lamongan in 1970-1998. This research uses historical research methods with a city history approach using Pengembangan Ekonomi Lokal (PEL) based agriculture theory. Lamongan Regency, which is currently one of the largest rice producing areas on the island of Java, cannot be separated from the role of the Green Revolution program implemented by the New Order government in Lamongan. Seeing agricultural conditions in the 1960s where there was famine and floods which caused farmers to experience major crop failures, the Lamongan district government together with the New Order government with its agricultural revolution program made improvements starting from the water sector, extension to farmers, and so on which was oriented on increasing agricultural productivity and agricultural life, which is the livelihood of the majority of Lamongan residents. Having relatively stable agricultural land, production of agricultural products in Lamongan continues to increase from year to year. Its contribution reached 8.18% of East Java's total rice production. The impact of the Green Revolution in Lamongan in 1970-1980 can be seen in the economic growth of Lamongan Regency and the social life of farmers. Changes in Lamongan society can be seen in the level of education and educational facilities in Lamongan which continue to develop every year. The increase in the number of rice harvests from year to year during the green revolution, especially in 1984-1989, had an impact on increasing Lamongan regional income. Lamongan Regency's gross regional domestic product (GRDP) index increased. This increase in GRDP was triggered by the rapid increase in productivity in the agricultural sector, during the Green Revolution period 1970-1998.

Abstract

Mohammad Roem is a diplomatic figure who was involved in the Roem-Royen Negotiations as a figure in the Indonesian delegation. This study aims to find out the figure of Mohammad Roem and his skills in negotiating with the Dutch in the Roem-Royen Negotiations. The method used in this study is the historical research method. The Roem-Royen Negotiations were negotiations between Indonesia and the Netherlands which began on April 14 1949 and were signed on May 7 1949. These negotiations were held at the Des Indes Hotel, Jakarta. This negotiation is also an example of how diplomacy was able to resolve the conflict between two countries, namely Indonesia and the Netherlands, thereby creating bilateral relations between the two countries which had been in conflict. His involvement as a negotiator and Indonesian delegate in these negotiations is not surprising because Mohammad Roem is often involved in international negotiation s, which has made his name increasingly famous. His expertise as a negotiator in the Roem-Royen Negotiations can be used as evidence that the statement of willingness to make peace that was made was not just any statement but was for the sake of realizing peace between the two countries, both Indonesia and the Netherlands. The existence of these negotiations was ultimately able to open up opportunities to hold a Round Table Conference (KMB) in Netherlands.

Abstract

This research aims to develop Articulate Storyline learning media assisted by Plickers based on Problem Based Learning in history subjects. The problems in this research are students who have difficulty focusing, are lazy, and have difficulty understanding what is explained by the teacher. Students also want to use PowerPoint, concept maps, illustrative images to make it easier to understand historical material. The research subjects in this study were class X IPS students at SMA Negeri 1 Glagah, Banyuwangi. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research with the ASSURE development model as the development procedure in this research. The development of this media went through a validation testing stage consisting of validation by material, language and media experts, as well as user testing by educators and students. The results obtained were that material experts scored an average score of 4.6 in the outstanding category, media experts got an average score of 4.9 in the outstanding category and media experts got an average score of 4.9 in the outstanding category. For the educator user test, an average score of 4.59 was obtained. The results of the student user test were carried out twice, in the small group user test the average value was 4.7, and for the large group user test the average value was 4.6. Thus, research on Articulate Storyline learning media assisted by Plickers based on Problem Based Learning in history subjects has very good validity and can be used as a learning media.

Abstract

This writing explores the historical experiences of the author's family, particularly regarding the anti-Chinese racial conflicts endured by Kweek Hwie Bian, the maternal grandfather, who faced persecution during three different periods in Indonesia. The author reveals how violence and racial discrimination have shaped and erased part of the family's ethnic identity. From the exodus in Semarang in 1965 due to the PKI riots, to the conflicts in 1980-1981 and the May 1998 riots, this narrative highlights the inherited trauma and the family's efforts to maintain their existence. The name change from Kweek Hwie Bian to Soebianto reflects an extreme measure to avoid persecution. These stories demonstrate how the dark history of racial persecution affects subsequent generations, erasing cultural identity and instilling a deep-seated fear of expressing their ethnic identity in Indonesia.
