Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of using the problem-based learning model in controversial material in Indonesian history, in particular the events that occurred in 1965, which involved many parties, especially the PKI and the army. The event that occurred in 1965 is known as the G30S incident. Even though this incident occurred 58 years ago, to this day, the G30S incident is still controversial in Indonesian society. The controversial position of the G30S incident is regarding who was the mastermind behind the bloody incident that killed Army generals and one officer in a tragic way. Within the scope of history education, material discussing the G30S incident is also still being debated. Therefore, appropriate learning strategies are needed in delivering the material, for example, using the problem-based learning model to improve students' critical thinking skills in studying the G30S incident.

Abstract

The land of Palestine is holy land for the three major religions, namely Islam, Christianity and Judaism. Israel and Palestine are countries that claim that this land is their territory, so this has sparked a prolonged conflict between the two. This research aims to provide an overview of the history of territorial claims in the Israeli-Palestinian region, territorial claims based on an Israeli-Palestinian perspective, and efforts to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Researchers use the historical method with a qualitative approach, which has stages of heuristics, criticism, interpretation and historiography. The research results concluded that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a complex problem. The involvement of religious, political and historical dimensions in it can influence a person's views and understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian territorial claims. Through this research, it can be seen that the importance of good diplomacy and mediation can encourage the creation of commitment and trust in each other, thereby creating a sense of tolerance which can be used as the key to fair sovereignty for both parties. Abstract

Educational institutions have a crucial role in improving the quality of human resources, creating educated personnel who are able to face very rapid changes. The aim of this research is to find out and analyze an in-depth analysis of teacher welfare and school effectiveness at 5 schools: SDI Kyai Ibrahim Surabaya, SDN Kutisari 1, SDN Keboananom, SDN Siwalankerto 1, SDN Kutisari 2. This research uses quantitative methods and the research subject is School educators or teachers. The data collection technique employed in the quantitative method involves the use of linear regression XY, with X representing teacher well-being and Y representing school effectiveness. Data are gathered through Google Forms, and journal analysis serves as a reference and theoretical foundation. The research activities commence with identifying the research topic, followed by determining the title, collecting field data, and concluding with the creation of findings and a report. The results of this study indicate that variable X teacher welfare does not have a significant effect on variable Y school effectiveness. This can be shown from the regression analysis test results which show that the sig value is more than 0.05, with a sig value of 0.103. So that H0 is accepted and H) is not accepted.
