Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in the average development of technology, information, and infrastructure in eastern/western Indonesia and focuses on the comparison between the western and eastern regions of Indonesia in the context of Indonesia as an archipelagic country, infrastructure is very important to create interconnectivity between islands in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-comparative method. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation studies of regional development policies and planning. This study focuses on an in-depth understanding of the condition of facilities and infrastructure in the cities of Surabaya and Palu. The results of this study are compiled based on a comparative analysis of the quality of the condition of facilities and infrastructure (sapras) in the cities of Surabaya and Palu. Comparative findings show quite striking differences between the two regions, which are inseparable from the historical background of city development, the function and strategic role of the region, the socio-economic conditions of the community, as well as the characteristics and geographical challenges faced by each region. In terms of urban facilities in the city of Surabaya is relatively more complete, integrated, and sustainable compared to the city of Palu. These differences are influenced by factors such as regional fiscal capacity, the level of urbanization, historical experience of development, and the impact of natural disasters experienced by the city of Palu. This research is expected to provide academic and practical contributions to the development of more equitable urban development policies across regions.

Abstract

This research is entitled “The Political Strategy of the Candidate Pair Lucky Hakim and Syaefudin in the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Election in Indramayu Regency.” The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the political strategies employed by Lucky Hakim and Syaefudin in winning the 2024 regional election, as well as to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors that influenced their political communication process during the campaign. This research applies Peter Schroder’s theory of political strategy as the analytical framework and uses a qualitative research method. Data were collected through documentation studies and in-depth interviews. The findings reveal that the political strategy implemented by Lucky Hakim and Syaefudin focused on a direct approach to the community through blusukan or door-to-door visits across village areas. This approach effectively built emotional closeness and strengthened public trust toward the candidate pair. Furthermore, Lucky Hakim’s high popularity and electability served as significant social capital that attracted strong public enthusiasm, particularly among grassroots groups such as housewives. Survey data indicated that Lucky Hakim’s personal image and popularity played a crucial role in supporting the pair’s victory. In addition, the success of this political strategy was also supported by the significant contribution of the campaign team and a wide network of volunteers. These volunteers actively expanded the campaign’s reach, organized political activities at the local level, and maintained political consolidation until the voting stage. Therefore, the victory of Lucky Hakim and Syaefudin resulted from the synergy between direct communication strategies, personal image strength, and the effective mobilization of volunteers in building broad public support across Indramayu Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the quality of Electronic Identity Card (E-KTP) services at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Sigi Regency. The research focuses on four service quality indicators based on Taliziduhu Ndraha's theory: speed, accuracy, convenience, and fairness. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that E-KTP services in Sigi Regency have not been optimal. In terms of speed, the E-KTP issuance process is still slow due to limited facilities such as a lack of recording and printing equipment, as well as network disruptions. Regarding accuracy, services do not meet the standard completion time due to a lack of discipline and preparedness among staff. However, in terms of convenience, the public finds the procedures and requirements for E-KTP services to be accessible and straightforward. Meanwhile, in the aspect of fairness, there are still practices of prioritizing relatives or acquaintances, which leads to public dissatisfaction and a sense of unfairness. The conclusion of this study is that the quality of E-KTP services at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Sigi Regency still needs improvement, particularly in the aspects of speed, accuracy, and fairness, to ensure more optimal and equitable services.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the results of the waste management program in Silae Village, Palu City. This type of research is descriptive and the basis of the research used is qualitative. In this study the author uses the Triple Bottom Line theory by (Jhon Elkinton 1997) with 3 indicators, namely profit, people, and planet (environment). Informants in this study consisted of employees of the Palu City environmental service, Silae Village staff, 2 TPS 3R managers and 3 community members. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data were filtered and selected based on data needs using qualitative descriptive methods. Based on the results of the study obtained, waste management in Silae Village has not been running optimally as can be seen from the indicators of profit, people, and planet (environment) where it can provide additional income for the community through the waste bank program. However, the perceived economic benefits are still limited due to the lack of skills and understanding in sorting waste, which results in managers having to purchase additional raw materials for compost production, community participation in waste management is still low. Even though the government has made every effort to provide outreach and education to the public, in reality there are still many people who do not understand and apply it in their daily lives.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain how millennials interpret the silent treatment in romantic relationships, whether as a form of self-protection, emotional control, or as a form of manipulation in relationships. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, because it focused on an in-depth understanding of the experiences and views of the research subjects. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with five respondents aged 29– 44 years (three women and two men) with different professional backgrounds. The results show that the silent treatment is interpreted differently by millennials: some use it as a strategy to calm themselves and prevent escalating conflicts, some see it as a form of emotional control in relationships, while others view the silent treatment as manipulative behavior that can damage communication. These findings confirm that the meaning of the silent treatment is strongly influenced by personal experiences, relationship dynamics, and an individual's ability to manage emotions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti Bagaimana Strategi Bauran Promosi Event Organizer RNR Experience Dalam meningkatkan Animo Pengujung Pada Pelaksanaan Kegiatan Festival Titik Temu 2024 Melalui Instagram @festivaltitiktemu. Fungsi utama Festival Titik Temu adalah sebagai sebuah medium festival yang  tegas mempromosikan dan mendukung ekosistem lokal di Sulawesi Tengah. Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Bauran Promosi Promotion Mix yang terdiri dari Periklanan Advertaising, Promosi Penjualan Sales Promotion, Penjualan tatap Muka Personal Selling, Pemasaran Langsung Direct Marketing dan Hubungan Masyarakat Public Relations oleh Kotler dan Keller. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Event organizer Rumah Nada Recording Experience sebagai pengelola kegiatan dan pengelola akun instagram @festivaltitiktemu. Festival Titik Temu 2024 dipilih sebagai fokus penelitian, karena merupakan penyelenggaraan yang paling terkini, juga menjadi pembuktian bahwa kegiatan ini konsisten diadakan selama tiga tahun berturut-turut. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode Deskriptif Kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan narasumber dengan pendekatan Purposive sampling yang melibatkan Tiga orang sebagai Project Leader, Project Manager dan Program Manager. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara mendalam dan Dokumntasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif yang terdiri atas reduksi data. Penyajian data, verifikasi. Hasil penelitian Bagaimana Strategi Bauran Promosi Event Organizer RNR Experience Dalam meningkatkan Animo Pengujung Pada Pelaksanaan Kegiatan Festival Titik Temu 2024 Melalui Instagram @festivaltitiktemu sudah berjalan dengan baik, namun belum maksimal pada penggunaan bauran promosi pemasaran langsung Direct Marketing menggunakan pesan Broadcast atau sistem pesan otomatis pada data pelanggan yang sudah ada di tahun-tahun sebelumnya tidak digunakan sama sekali, informasi nomor telepon, email, akun Instagram pelanggan dengan mudah didapatkan, mengirimkan pesan otomatis, pesan promo dan sebagainya bisa lebih cepat sampai kepala calon pelanggan.
