Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of vital records media transfer project at the Department of Archives and Library of Kediri City. Vital records are records whose existence is a basic requirement for the operational continuity of record creators, cannot be renewed, and cannot be replaced if damaged or lost. The media transfer process is carried out through several stages, namely preparation, scanning and editing, electronic and cloud-based filing, and preparation of media transfer record lists. The records transferred include Building Construction Permits and Student Master Books of State Elementary Schools in Kediri City. The results of the project show that media transfer improves the accessibility, security, and efficiency of vital records management, supports legal accountability, and accelerates public information services. The main constraints faced are limited equipment and the absence of authentication policies. This project contributes to the development of archival science, particularly in the field of reprography and records digitization.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has transformed communication patterns, particularly through the use of social media as a platform for information sharing and interaction. This phenomenon requires university students not only to possess digital literacy skills but also to apply ethical principles in digital communication. This study aims to analyze the role of Management Study Program students from the Class of 2023 at Universitas Muhammadiyah Bandung as mobile citizens and mobile beacons in the era of social media. The study employed a quantitative approach using a descriptive survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 87 respondents selected using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The findings indicate that most students demonstrate responsible digital communication practices by verifying information before sharing it, applying the principle of tabayyun, utilizing digital technology for self-development, and contributing to a positive digital environment through the dissemination of educational and Islamic values-based content. However, the use of social media to support academic activities still requires further optimization. The findings suggest that the internalization of Islamic values contributes to shaping students into critical, ethical, and responsible digital citizens.

Abstract

MSMEs are an important sector in the local economy, including in the city of silaberanti (PALEMBANG), particularly in the ready to drink beverage business, which is facing fierce competition and market trends. These conditions require MSMEs to have survival strategies in order to continue operating their businesses. This study aims to determine the survival strategies implemented by jumbo iced tea MSMEs and the factors that influence business resilience and customer loyalty. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection was conducted through in depth interviews and direct observation with business owners. The results of this study indicate that the resilience of jumbo iced tea MSMEs is influenced by consistent product quality, affordable and stable pricing, friendly service, and the ability of business owners to adapt to market conditions. In addition, the religious values held by business owners can play a role in shaping business resilience and calmness in making business decisions. These strategies are able to maintain customer trust and loyalty, so that the business continues to run and survive amid increasingly fierce competition. This study is expected to be a reference for other MSME entrepreneurs in designing sustainable business resilience strategies.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of education budget, health budget, and local tax revenue on the Human Development Index (HDI) in regencies/cities of East Java Province during 2015–2024. HDI is a key indicator of human development success, yet disparities across regions in East Java remain wide despite rising budget realization, raising questions about the effectiveness of local fiscal policy. The study draws on Human Capital Theory, Capability Theory, and Public Finance Theory as the theoretical foundation linking public spending, fiscal capacity, and human development. A quantitative approach was used with panel data of 380 observations (38 regencies/cities × 10 years), estimated with a Fixed Effect Model panel regression in Eviews 12, following the Chow and Hausman tests. Results show that the education budget has a negative and significant effect on HDI, while health budget and local tax revenue each have a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, all three variables significantly affect HDI, with an Adjusted R-squared of 93.52 percent. These findings indicate that HDI improvement depends not merely on budget size but also on the effectiveness and governance of local fiscal management, suggesting local governments re-evaluate education budget allocation while strengthening fiscal capacity through optimized local tax revenue collection.

Abstract

Raw material inventory control is a crucial aspect of a hotel's Food & Beverage (F&B) operations, ensuring smooth service and preventing stockouts. This study aims to analyze F&B raw material inventory control at Grand Diamond Hotel Yogyakarta using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Safety Stock, and Reorder Point (ROP) methods. Employing quantitative descriptive approach, the study analyzes usage and ordering  for five key raw materials cooking oil, chicken and beef sausages, UHT milk, large format (gallon) mineral water, and rice on period  from July to October 2025. The results indicate a monthly increase in raw material usage. Cooking oil recorded the highest consumption at 1,376 liters, followed by sausages (1,144 packs), milk (1,054 liters), mineral water (646 gallons), and rice (1,050 kg). Implementing the EOQ method resulted in more optimal order quantities compared to hotel's conventional system, leading to more controlled and efficient inventory management. Furthermore, Safety Stock calculations successfully provided a buffer against demand uncertainty, while the ROP helped determine the precise timing for reordering. The application of EOQ, Safety Stock, and ROP methods proved more effective in enhancing inventory control efficiency, maintaining raw material availability, and supporting the smooth operation of the F&B department at Grand Diamond Hotel Yogyakarta.

This study aims to design, measure the quality of, and evaluate the impact of CapCut-based promotional videos published on TikTok on Raymais MSME's promotional performance. The study employed an action research approach through the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through a questionnaire based on the AISDALSLove model and audience interactions on social media. The results showed that optimizing the promotional video improved content quality across all AISDALSLove dimensions. Enhanced storytelling, brand identity, visual quality, and audio attracted audience attention and interest, encouraged information seeking, increased purchase desire and action, and generated positive evaluations, sharing behavior, and emotional attachment to the product. These findings indicate that the CapCut-based promotional video improved the quality of promotional messages, strengthened brand identity, and increased audience engagement, while the AISDALSLove model can serve as a reference for continuous promotional content evaluation.

Abstract

The Indonesian banking sector underwent significant transformations amidst economic volatility and the pandemic from 2019 to 2023. To survive and recover, banks were required to adapt by optimizing Intellectual Capital. This study aims to analyse the impact of Human Capital Efficiency (HCE), Structural Capital Efficiency (SCE), and Capital Employed Efficiency (CEE) on bank stability (Z-score). Utilizing a quantitative approach, this research analyses panel data from 47 conventional banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) between 2019 and 2023, selected through purposive sampling. Panel data regression analysis (EViews 12) was conducted, involving model selection tests (Chow, Hausman) and hypothesis testing (F-test and T-test). The findings reveal that only CEE exerts a positive and significant effect on the Z-score, confirming that the efficiency of physical and financial capital (tangible assets) remains the dominant determinant of a bank's financial stability. Conversely, intellectual capital components show no significant effect. HCE exhibits a positive yet insignificant impact due to the long-term nature of human resource investments, while SCE shows a negative and insignificant effect stemming from suboptimal structural capital management and limitations in the VAIC measurement formula.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of entrepreneurship practice and financial literacy on students' entrepreneurial intention, both directly and through the mediating role of self-efficacy, within the Digital Entrepreneurship course at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. A quantitative survey design was employed, involving 327 active students from the 2022 and 2023 cohorts selected through proportional random sampling from a population of 1,800 students. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling with the aid of SmartPLS software. The results show that entrepreneurship practice has no significant direct effect on entrepreneurial intention, whereas financial literacy does. Both independent variables, however, strongly predict self-efficacy, which in turn significantly influences entrepreneurial intention. Mediation testing further confirms that self-efficacy fully mediates the relationship between entrepreneurship practice and entrepreneurial intention, and partially mediates the relationship between financial literacy and entrepreneurial intention. These findings suggest that self-efficacy functions as a key mechanism through which practical experience and financial knowledge are translated into a stronger intention to start a business. This study enriches the Theory of Planned Behavior in digital entrepreneurship education, offering practical considerations for universities in designing learning that emphasizes hands-on practice and deliberately cultivates students' self-confidence and financial literacy.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of global crude palm oil (CPO) prices and the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) exchange rate on the stock returns of IDX-listed plantation companies from 2020 to 2024. As a strategic sector in Indonesia's economy, the palm oil industry's performance and investor returns are highly susceptible to these macroeconomic fluctuations. Employing a quantitative approach, this research utilizes secondary data from the IDX, Bank Indonesia, and global CPO indices. Through purposive sampling, 15 companies were selected, yielding 75 observations. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, preceded by descriptive statistics and classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation). The findings aim to provide empirical evidence on how CPO prices and exchange rates drive stock returns. Ultimately, these results offer crucial insights for investors in making investment decisions, assist company management in shaping financial strategies, and serve as a valuable reference for future academic research on capital markets and macroeconomic variables.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of business politics in supporting sustainability programs at Prudential Life Assurance Indonesia. The research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method through document analysis of sustainability reports, annual reports, Financial Services Authority (OJK) regulations, the company's official website, scholarly journals, and other supporting sources. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis by examining the dimensions of external business politics, internal business politics, and the implementation of sustainability programs. The findings indicate that external business politics is reflected in the company's compliance with OJK regulations, active participation in industry associations, and transparent sustainability reporting. Meanwhile, internal business politics is demonstrated through management commitment and coordination among business units in implementing the company's three sustainability strategy pillars. The synergy between these two dimensions supports the consistent implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, resulting in various sustainability initiatives that have received recognition through the ESG Award 2023 and ESG Recognized Commitment 2024. This study concludes that Business Politics Theory is relevant in explaining the successful implementation of corporate sustainability through the management of relationships with regulators, stakeholders, and the strengthening of internal corporate governance.
