Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the lending rate and third-party funds on commercial bank lending, as well as their impact on economic growth in DKI Jakarta during the 2014-2024 period. The research method employs a quantitative approach using quarterly time-series secondary data (44 observations), analysed via multiple linear regression and simple linear regression using the Indicator Saturation (IIS) approach to handle extreme outliers. The test results show that the Loan Interest Rate has a negative and significant effect, while Third-Party Funds have a positive and significant effect on credit disbursement. However, further findings reveal an empirical anomaly that contradicts classical theory: an increase in credit disbursement actually has a negative and significant effect on regional economic growth. This negative relationship is caused by the phenomenon of credit misallocation loans are absorbed more for consumption and short-term liquidity due to the shocks of the COVID-19 pandemic, rather than for productive investment. In conclusion, interest rates and public deposits are key determinants of the volume of bank credit, but the success of financial intermediation in driving the economy depends not only on the quantity of funds but is largely determined by their quality, the appropriateness of their allocation, and the productivity of their use in the real sector.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Return on Equity (ROE), Non Performing Loan (NPL), and Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO) on the firm value of State-Owned Commercial Banks (BUMN) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). A quantitative approach with an associative research design was employed. The study utilized secondary data obtained from the annual financial statements of four state-owned banks during the 2021–2025 period, selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 26 through classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation analysis, coefficient of determination, partial hypothesis testing (t-test), and simultaneous hypothesis testing (F-test). The findings reveal that Return on Equity (ROE) has a significant positive effect on firm value (p = 0.011), Non-Performing Loan (NPL) significantly affects firm value (p = 0.006), and Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO) also has a significant effect on firm value (p = 0.004). Simultaneously, ROE, NPL, and BOPO significantly influence firm value, as indicated by an F-value of 10.426 with a significance level of 0.000. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.453 indicates that 45.3% of the variation in firm value can be explained by the three independent variables, while the remaining 54.7% is influenced by other factors outside the research model. These findings suggest that profitability, credit quality, and operational efficiency are key determinants of firm value and should be considered by bank management in improving corporate performance as well as by investors in making investment decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of perceived ease of use, digital promotion, and social influence on the usage decision of Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) among Generation Z in Jabodetabek. A quantitative approach with a causal research design was employed, involving 257 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through online questionnaires and analyzed using IBM SPSS 31, including validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The findings indicate that perceived ease of use, digital promotion, and social influence have a positive and significant effect on usage decision, both partially and simultaneously. Digital promotion was identified as the most dominant variable influencing usage decision, followed by social influence and perceived ease of use. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²) showed that the three independent variables jointly explained 86.5% of the variation in usage decision, while the remaining 13.5% were explained by other factors outside the model, such as perceived security and trust. These findings support the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), suggesting that the decision to use QRIS among Generation Z is driven not only by ease of use but also by promotional stimuli and social norms. This study contributes to the understanding of consumer behavior in the context of digital payment systems and provides practical insights for payment service providers and regulators in designing more effective strategies to encourage sustainable QRIS adoption

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of trust, perceived value, and electronic word of mouth (E-WOM) on purchasing decisions among Generation Z consumers on TikTok Live Commerce. A quantitative approach with a causal cross-sectional design was employed, involving 140 respondents selected using purposive sampling in DKI Jakarta. Data were collected through online questionnaires and analyzed using IBM SPSS 31, including validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The findings indicate that perceived value and E-WOM have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, both partially and simultaneously, while trust does not have a significant effect. E-WOM was identified as the most dominant variable influencing purchasing decisions. The coefficient of determination (R²) showed that the three independent variables jointly explained 68.1% of the variation in purchasing decisions, while the remaining 31.9% were explained by other factors outside the model. These findings support the perspective that consumer decisions in social commerce are not solely determined by trust, but are more strongly driven by perceived value and real-time electronic word of mouth, particularly through live comments and interactions during TikTok Live sessions. This study contributes to the understanding of consumer behavior in the context of social commerce and provides practical insights for businesses in managing live streaming strategies to enhance consumer purchasing decisions

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational experience and part-time work experience on work readiness among students of Universitas Teuku Umar. A quantitative correlational approach was employed with a population of students who have organizational and part-time work experience. The sample consisted of 107 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1–5 and analyzed using multiple linear regression through SPSS version 25, preceded by validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results indicate that partially, organizational experience (X₁) has a positive and significant effect on work readiness (Y) with t-value of 7.410 > t-table 1.983 (sig. 0.000 < 0.05), and part-time work experience (X₂) also has a positive and significant effect with t-value of 5.109 > t-table 1.983 (sig. 0.000 < 0.05). Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on work readiness with F-value of 71.488 > F-table 3.08 (sig. 0.000 < 0.05). The R Square value of 0.579 indicates that both variables explain 57.9% of the variation in work readiness, while the remaining 42.1% is explained by other variables outside the study. Students are expected to be more active in organizational activities and utilize part-time work experience to enhance skills and readiness for the workforce.
