Abstract

The digital transformation of education has significantly changed the educational system, particularly the roles and responsibilities of teachers as educators. The rapid development of information and communication technology requires teachers not only to master pedagogical and professional competencies but also to possess adequate digital literacy skills. This study aims to examine teacher professionalism in facing digital educational transformation through a literature review approach. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method using library research. Data were collected from various internet-based sources, including scientific journals, books, articles, and relevant documents. The data were analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify, categorize, and interpret the collected information. The findings indicate that teacher professionalism is a crucial factor in supporting the successful implementation of digital education. Digital literacy has become a fundamental competency that enables teachers to integrate technology effectively into the learning process. Furthermore, teachers face several challenges, including limited digital competencies, rapid technological advancements, digital ethics issues, and inadequate educational infrastructure. To address these challenges, various professional development strategies are needed, such as digital literacy training, participation in professional learning communities, and continuous support through school policies. Strong teacher professionalism will enhance teachers’ readiness to adapt to change and contribute to improving the quality of education in the digital era.

Abstract

Fasting and i’tikaf are important acts of worship in Islam with deep spiritual and social dimensions. This study aims to examine the basic concepts of fasting and i’tikaf and their legal implications in a Muslim’s life. The method used is qualitative research with a library research approach by referring to classical and contemporary Islamic jurisprudence literature. The results show that fasting functions as a means of self-control and increasing piety, while i’tikaf serves as a medium to draw closer to Allah SWT, especially during Ramadan. Both are closely related in shaping a more spiritual and disciplined Muslim personality.

Abstract

Conflict in society is a complex social phenomenon and inseparable from the dynamics of human life. This study aims to analyze the factors that trigger conflict in society, the role of government authorities in handling conflict, the forms of horizontal and vertical conflict, and the conflict resolution process from a political perspective. The method used is a qualitative approach with library research, which utilizes various sources of the latest scientific literature as secondary data. The results show that conflict is triggered by various interrelated factors, such as social and economic inequality, differences in identity, political dynamics, weak social integration, and suboptimal law enforcement. The government has a strategic role as a regulator, mediator, and stabilizer in resolving conflict, but its success depends heavily on the quality of governance and the level of public trust. Social conflict is classified into horizontal and vertical conflicts, which have different characteristics but influence each other. Meanwhile, political conflict resolution requires a multidimensional approach through negotiation, public policy, legal instruments, and community participation. Thus, a comprehensive and sustainable approach is needed in managing conflict to maintain social stability and national integration

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan audit layanan teknologi informasi (TI) pada dua layanan kritis di SMKN 1 Palembang, yaitu Layanan Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) Online dan Layanan Ujian Online berbasis Computer Based Test (CBT). Audit dilaksanakan menggunakan kerangka kerja ITIL v3 (Information Technology Infrastructure Library versi 3) yang diperkuat dengan pengukuran menggunakan Model Level Tingkat Kematangan TI (MLTI) yang diadaptasi dari CMMI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam dengan pemangku kepentingan, dan analisis dokumentasi. Audit dilakukan pada lima domain utama ITIL v3, yaitu: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, dan Continual Service Improvement. Hasil audit menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata tingkat kematangan layanan PPDB Online berada pada skor 1,65 (Level 1-2) dan layanan Ujian Online berada pada skor 1,55 (Level 1-2), sehingga rata-rata keseluruhan kedua layanan adalah 1,60 yang setara dengan Level 2 (Repeatable). Domain Service Operation mendapatkan skor tertinggi pada kedua layanan karena operasional teknis sudah berjalan, meskipun masih bersifat reaktif dan belum terstandarisasi sepenuhnya. Sebaliknya, domain Continual Service Improvement dan Service Transition mendapatkan skor terendah karena minimnya dokumentasi, tidak adanya mekanisme evaluasi kinerja, serta pengelolaan perubahan yang masih bersifat ad-hoc. Penelitian ini menghasilkan rekomendasi perbaikan konkret yang dapat diterapkan secara bertahap untuk meningkatkan kualitas kedua layanan tersebut.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including education. The digital era presents both opportunities and challenges that require educational institutions to continuously adapt to improve educational quality. This article aims to examine strategies for developing educational quality in response to the challenges of the digital era through an analysis of relevant literature. The method used is a literature review, compiling and analyzing various scientific sources, including journals, books, and educational policy documents related to digital transformation and improving educational quality. The study's results indicate that developing educational quality in the digital era requires a comprehensive strategy, encompassing strengthening teachers' digital competencies, developing a curriculum that adapts to technological developments, optimizing the use of information technology in the learning process, strengthening innovative educational leadership, and developing a digital-based quality assurance system. Furthermore, collaboration between schools, the government, the community, and the technology sector is a crucial factor in supporting the success of educational transformation. Challenges include disparities in access to technology, limited educator digital competency, and the need for adequate infrastructure. Therefore, developing educational quality in the digital era must be carried out sustainably through adaptive policies and strengthening the capacity of all educational stakeholders. This study provides a conceptual contribution to understanding strategies that can be implemented to achieve quality, relevant education that meets the demands of the times.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of flood disaster management policies in Kasemen Subdistrict by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Serang City, particularly in response to the major flooding that occurred in early 2026. Geographically, Kasemen Subdistrict is a downstream area prone to annual flooding due to the confluence of the Cibanten River overflow and tidal flooding (rob). Based on preliminary research, several issues were identified in the field, such as insufficient pre-disaster mitigation outreach, low levels of community self-preparedness, and suboptimal distribution of quick-response aid during emergency response. To analyze these issues, this descriptive qualitative study was designed using William N. Dunn’s six-criteria policy evaluation framework, which includes effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and appropriateness. Data collection was designed using direct observation, in-depth interviews with the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) and affected communities, and documentation. Through this approach, the research results are expected to map bureaucratic barriers, assess the alignment of Local Regulation No. 3 of 2021, and formulate comprehensive long-term strategic recommendations for disaster management in Serang City.

Abstract

Teachers' emotional intelligence is one of the important factors in creating an inclusive learning environment that is able to accommodate the diversity of students' characteristics, abilities, backgrounds, and needs. This article aims to examine the role of teachers' emotional intelligence in supporting the implementation of inclusive learning in school settings. The method used in this study is a literature review by analyzing various relevant scientific sources related to emotional intelligence and inclusive education. The findings indicate that teachers with strong emotional intelligence are more capable of understanding students' feelings and needs, building positive communication, managing conflicts effectively, and creating a safe and comfortable learning atmosphere for all students.

Abstract

PERUMDA Air Minum Tirta Batang Hari conducts routine inspections of pipeline connections and water pumps at branch offices to maintain the continuity of clean water distribution. The large number of inspection locations and the varying distances between branch offices result in inefficient technician route allocation. This study aims to model routine inspection locations into a graph and determine a more optimal route allocation using the Welch-Powell Algorithm. The data used are secondary data in the form of locations and distances among 13 branch offices of PERUMDA Tirta Batang Hari obtained through Google Maps. The research method was carried out by constructing a graph based on adjacency relationships between locations, determining the degree of each vertex, and applying the Welch-Powell Algorithm through a graph coloring process. The results showed that graph coloring produced a chromatic number of four colors, consisting of the blue group with vertices 8 and 9, the green group with vertices 12 and 13, the yellow group with vertices 10, 7, and 6, and the orange group with vertices 1, 2, 11, 3, 4, and 5. These results indicate that the Welch-Powell Algorithm can be applied to assist the grouping of routine inspection locations so that technician route allocation becomes more organized and efficient.

Abstract

A child's academic success is not only determined by factors at school, but is also greatly influenced by the home environment. In this article, we will examine how the home environment functions as a safe space to help children excel in school. The concept of safe space here goes beyond physical safety to psychological and emotional safety, where children feel accepted, valued, and have the freedom to speak without fear of judgment. It has been proven that a stable and supportive home environment can reduce stress and distractions. This allows children to focus on their studies and participate more actively in school.

Abstract

Tujuan observasi ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat keaktifan siswa dalam kegiatan belajar di kelas serta menganalisis cara guru merespons kebutuhan belajar siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berbeda. Metode yang digunakan yaitu observasi dan wawancara. Observasi dilakukan terhadap aktivitas guru dan peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung, sedangkan wawancara dilakukan kepada guru kelas untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai strategi pembelajaran dan karakteristik peserta didik. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran berlangsung cukup kondusif. Guru menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang bervariasi seperti ceramah interaktif, tanya jawab, dan tutor sebaya. Siswa terlihat cukup antusias meskipun terdapat perbedaan tingkat keaktifan di dalam kelas. Guru juga memberikan perhatian kepada siswa yang mengalami kesulitan memahami materi dengan memberikan penjelasan tambahan dan bimbingan secara langsung. Selain itu, siswa memiliki gaya belajar yang berbeda seperti visual, auditorial, dan kinestetik. Oleh karena itu, kerja sama yang baik antara guru dan siswa sangat diperlukan dalam menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang efektif dan bermakna.
