Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs for social-emotional development of early childhood in the digital era. The research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of teachers and parents of early childhood children. The results showed that the use of gadgets and digital media influences the social-emotional development of early childhood. Children who excessively use gadgets tend to be less active in social interactions, have difficulty controlling emotions, and prefer playing alone rather than with peers. However, digital technology can also provide positive impacts when used as an educational learning medium with proper guidance from parents and teachers. In addition, group play activities, active communication, and direct social interaction have proven to support children’s social-emotional development. Therefore, collaboration between parents, teachers, and early childhood education institutions is needed to supervise technology use and create a learning environment that supports optimal social-emotional development of early childhood in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs of holistic-integrative learning in Early Childhood Education (ECE) institutions. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving principals, teachers, and parents as research informants. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation, technique triangulation, and member checking. The findings revealed that the implementation of holistic-integrative learning plays a significant role in supporting optimal early childhood development through the integration of educational, health, nutritional, parenting, protection, and welfare services. The main needs identified include improving teacher competencies, strengthening collaboration between schools and parents, providing adequate facilities and infrastructure, and enhancing cross-sector partnerships. Supporting factors include teacher commitment, school leadership support, parental involvement, and a conducive learning environment. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors consist of limited human resources, insufficient training opportunities, inadequate facilities, and suboptimal interagency coordination.The study concludes that needs analysis is a strategic step in improving the quality of holistic-integrative services in early childhood education institutions. Addressing the identified needs can assist ECE institutions in developing more effective, integrated, and child-centered services that support optimal child development.

Abstract

Arabic language learning often faces major challenges in maharah kitabah (writing skills), which is considered one of the most complex language skills because it requires the integration of linguistic, cognitive, and affective dimensions. Writing is not merely a productive language activity but also a reflection of learners’ language proficiency, as it involves the ability to organize ideas, apply linguistic knowledge, and communicate meaning effectively. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the concept of maharah kitabah development and formulate an integrative and comprehensive framework for Arabic writing instruction. To achieve this objective, the study employs a descriptive qualitative method using a library research approach. Data were collected through a critical review of relevant academic sources, including textbooks, national and international journal articles, and previous studies related to Arabic writing instruction. The collected data were analyzed using content analysis to identify major themes, instructional strategies, and conceptual patterns in the development of maharah kitabah. The findings reveal that the development of writing skills requires systematic, adaptive, and sustainable learning strategies. These strategies include gradual writing practice, contextual learning approaches, the integration of digital technology, the insya’iyah method, and multicultural-based instruction. Furthermore, the study proposes an integrative conceptual model consisting of three stages: introduction, development, and production. The model is designed to facilitate the progressive development of learners’ writing abilities by addressing linguistic, cognitive, and affective needs at each stage. Theoretically, this study contributes an alternative framework for creating more holistic, meaningful, and adaptive Arabic language learning in response to contemporary educational challenges.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran berperan penting dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan minat belajar peserta didik, baik melalui media digital maupun non-digital yang mendukung interaksi efektif. . berdasarkan hasil observasi, di temukan kurangnya variasi media pembelajaran dan peserta didik yang yang dominan hiperaktif menunjukkan gejala kurang fokus dan minat belajar rendah ketika kegiatan belajar hanya berisi pengerjaan soal tanpa media yang menarik. Oleh sebab itu dikembangkan media Monopoli Nusantara (MONUSRA) diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik serta membuat proses pembelajaran lebih interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses, kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas pengembangan media Monopoli Nusantara (MONUSRA). Metode yang digunakan ialah RnD model ADDIE (analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dengan uji coba 20 peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen pengumpulan data  observasi, wawancara, angket, dokumentasi, dan tes dengan teknik analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil peneltian menunjukkan media Monopoli Nusantara (MONUSRA) memperoleh validasi ahli media 95%, ahli materi 94%, dan ahli pembelajaran 98,4% kategori sangat layak. Hasil uji kepraktisan mendapatkan dari uji respon minat peserta didik pada skala kecil medapatkan 96% dan skala besar 95% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. hasil uji keefektivan menggunakan uji N-Gain diperoleh pada skala kecil di peroleh skor 0,80 skala besar diperoleh skor 0,84.

Abstract

Early childhood education is an important stage in shaping children's character and personality. In this process, teachers play a role not only as educators but also as role models in shaping students’ attitudes and behavior. This study aims to determine how teacher ethics and character contribute to the character building of early childhood students at TK Aisyiyah ABA 10. The research used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through direct interviews with teachers at the school. The results of the study showed that character building in children is implemented through habituation, role modeling, good communication, and cooperation between teachers and parents. The character values instilled include discipline, honesty, responsibility, politeness, and religious attitudes. The findings indicate that teachers’ ethics and character have a very important influence on the character development of early childhood children.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of online learning on students' material comprehension at Universitas Prima Indonesia. A quantitative approach with a survey design was employed, involving 60 respondents selected through random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire (15 items) and analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Spearman's Rank correlation test due to non-normal data distribution (Sig. < 0.05). The results showed that both online learning implementation (mean=17.30) and students' comprehension (mean=11.91) were in the "fair" category. The Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient was 0.844 (Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05), indicating a very strong and significant positive relationship. Thus, the better the implementation of online learning, the higher the students' comprehension of the material. This study concludes that online learning significantly influences students' comprehension, although it requires support from stable internet connectivity and interactive teaching methods.

Abstract

Talempong Gandang Lasuang is dedicated to the diverse traditional Minangkabau culture, whose culture and identity are widespread. In general, many actors are prominent in the field of social change, yet amidst modernization and social change. This research combines qualitative methods with a descriptive framework. Data based on extensive observation, observation, and documentation demonstrate the long-known importance of Talempong Gandang Lasuang. The research results show that women's presence is evident through their active involvement as performers, cultural inheritors, trainers, and promoters of artistic activities. Experiences of participating in the regeneration process include attending Talempong Gandang Lasuang's post-regeneration training and participating in the regeneration process. Despite the decline in interest from the younger generation and the influence of popular culture, women continue to demonstrate a strong commitment to preserving this art form. Therefore, Talempong Gandang Lasuang should be considered a high pillar in the province of Sikapak Timur, Pariaman City.

Abstract

The need for wireless networks (Wi-Fi) in academic environments such as the University of West Sulawesi continues to increase along with the increasing number of users. However, the surge of connected devices without access control burdens the Access Point, resulting in a decrease in service quality such as unstable connections and high data delivery failures. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing a wireless network authentication protocol based on Quality of Service (QoS) parameters using the Telecommunications and Internet Protocol Harmonization Over Network (TIPHON) standard. The method used is Action Research by monitoring and processing Wi-Fi network traffic data using Wireshark software in two different locations, namely Building A (without an authentication system) and the Library (with an authentication system). The QoS parameters tested include throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter. The results show that both locations have an average QoS index of 2.25 (Moderate Category). Building A boasts superior throughput of 466 Kbps, but its delay (157.1 ms) and jitter (42.06 ms) performance are less stable, with packet loss reaching 85.17% due to the density of freely connected external devices. In contrast, the Library, which implemented an authentication system, had significantly superior network stability, with a highly responsive delay of 9.54 ms (Excellent) and jitter of 4.51 ms (Good), despite its lower throughput capacity of 144 Kbps. This study concludes that implementing an authentication system is a fundamental requirement for limiting the number of unauthorized users, preventing traffic congestion, and maintaining stable network service quality on campus.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology and social media has transformed the social interaction patterns of Generation Z in various aspects of life. The digital social environment functions not only as a communication medium but also as a space for identity formation, social relationship development, and the internalization of social values and norms. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of the digital social environment in shaping Generation Z's social behavior, identify the dominant influencing factors, and explain the relationship patterns between digital social environments and social behavior based on contemporary literature. This research employed a literature study method using a systematic review approach of scholarly publications published between 2016 and 2026. Data were analyzed through identification, selection, evaluation, and thematic synthesis of previous studies. The findings indicate that digital social environments shape social behavior through self-presentation, social comparison, role models, and interactions with digital audiences. Dominant factors influencing social behavior include social comparison, social support, validation-seeking behavior, fear of missing out (FoMO), social media usage intensity, digital audience characteristics, and the quality of online interactions. Contemporary literature suggests that these relationships are dynamic, contextual, and non-linear because they are influenced by individual characteristics, social environments, and patterns of social media use. This study recommends strengthening digital literacy and developing more adaptive social media governance strategies for Generation Z.

Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, particularly ChatGPT, has created various opportunities in the field of education. This study aims to examine the effect of ChatGPT usage on junior high school students’ cognitive learning outcomes and to compare students’ learning outcomes when completing tasks without ChatGPT and with ChatGPT assistance. The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a one-group comparison design. The sample consisted of 34 eighth-grade students of Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Private Junior High School, Medan, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using learning achievement tests and a ChatGPT usage questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity testing, reliability testing, the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, and the Paired Sample t-test with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics 25. The results showed that the mean score of students’ learning outcomes without ChatGPT was 87.12, while the mean score with ChatGPT assistance was 94.99. The Paired Sample t-test revealed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating that ChatGPT usage had a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes. These findings suggest that the appropriate use of ChatGPT can improve students’ cognitive learning achievement. However, its use should be properly supervised to prevent overdependence and to maintain students’ independent thinking skills.
