Sabar : Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Kristen dan Katolik, Jurnal ini ditujukan untuk publikasi artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Asosiasi Riset Ilmu Pendidikan Agama dan Filsafat Indonesia, merupakan sebuah terbitan ilmiah yang menyoroti nilai-nilai agama Kristen dan Katolik, dengan fokus pada pengembangan dalam pendidikan agama. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan wadah bagi para akademisi, praktisi, dan pemimpin gereja Kristen dan Katolik untuk berbagi pemikiran, penelitian, dan pengalaman praktis mereka dalam mendidik generasi muda. Setiap edisi jurnal ini memuat artikel-artikel yang mendalam tentang berbagai aspek penting dalam pendidikan agama Kristen dan Katolik. Artikel tersebut mencakup topik-topik seperti pengembangan kurikulum berbasis agama, strategi pengajaran yang efektif, peran pendidikan agama dalam pembentukan karakter, serta tantangan-tantangan dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai agama dalam pendidikan modern. Abstract

The development of globalization, digital technology, and social change has influenced the way young people understand and live out their faith. Secularism tends to place religion in the private sphere, so that religious values do not always become the basis for decision-making in daily life. This study aims to analyze the challenges of secularism to the formation of the identity of Catholic youth in the modern era and to formulate relevant religious education responses in addressing these dynamics. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method that examines various scientific literature, Church documents, and research findings related to the phenomenon of secularism and the formation of the religious identity of Catholic youth. The results of the study indicate that secularism has a complex impact on the faith life of young people, including decreased participation in Church activities, the emergence of individualistic attitudes, and the tendency to view religion merely as a formal identity. However, on the other hand, the modern era also opens opportunities for young people to develop their faith creatively through the use of digital technology and involvement in faith communities. Therefore, Catholic religious education and pastoral accompaniment that are dialogical, contextual, and participatory are very important in helping Catholic youth integrate their faith into daily life. This study is expected to provide theoretical and practical contributions for educators and pastoral ministers in fostering the faith identity of Catholic youth in modern society.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of Creative Problem Solving (CPS) within a group counseling framework to mitigate academic-related stress in students. Intense scholastic expectations often compromise a student’s psychological health and academic achievements, making this a critical area of intervention. Employing a quasi-experimental quantitative design, this study utilized a single-group pretest-posttest model. Participants exhibiting elevated stress markers were recruited via purposive sampling. The core intervention involved systematic group sessions centered on diagnostic problem-solving, divergent idea generation, and strategic decision-making. Pre- and post-intervention data were gathered through a standardized assessment scale and processed using parametric statistics. The data revealed a substantial decline in academic stress levels post-treatment. These results underscore the efficacy of CPS-based counseling in fostering cognitive flexibility. Ultimately, this approach provides a robust mechanism for students to develop resilient coping strategies against educational pressures.
