Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan bahan ajar berbasis STEM berbantuan Augmented Reality yang dikembangkan, mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan bahan ajar yang dikembangkat terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep peserta didik, serta mengetahui respon peserta didik terhadap bahan ajar tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D dengan desain penelitian ADDIE. Hasil uji kelayakan dari kedua validasi ahli terhadap bahan ajar yang dikembangkan mendapatkan skor 90,27% dengan kategori sangat layak, sehingga bahan ajar dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Perubahan kemampuan pemahaman konsep diukur dengan uji t dengan nilai sig. (2-tailed) yang didapatkan sebesar 0,000 yang menunjukkan bahwa sig. < 0,05, hasil analisis data tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, kemudian keefektifan penggunaan bahan ajar diuji menggunakan uji n-gain dengan hasil kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,49 dan kelas kontrol didapatkan hasil sebesar 0,37, kedua kelas tersebut tergolong dalam kategori sedang dengan skor kelas eksperimen lebih besar dibandingkan kelas kontrol, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan nilai lebih besar dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis STEM dengan bantuan teknologi Augmented Reality efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada materi fluida statis. Hasil respon peserta didik terhadap bahan ajar tersebut didapatkan nilai rata-rata persentase sebesar 86,43% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

Model Problem Based Learning dengan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektif remediasi miskonsepsi pada materi listrik arus searah di SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu metode eksperimen dengan bentuk penelitian berupa pre-experimental design dengan rancangan One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design dengan melibatkan 36 peserta didik sebagai sampel. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat penurunan miskonsepsi peserta didik dengan rata – rata persentase sebesar 30%. Perubahan miskonsepsi tiap butir soal menggunakan Uji McNemar didapatkan nilai  x2hitung  dari 8 soal berturut -turut soal (4,2;19; 12; 7,6; 7,1; 1,5; 12; 3,2) maka terjadi penurunan miskonsepsi yang signifikan pada 6 soal dan tidak signifikan pada 2 soal, dengan efektivitas sebesar 0,62 dengan kategori tergolong sedang.

Abstract

The deployment of digital learning media is becoming an increasingly pivotal aspect of the field of physics education, particularly in enhancing students' motivation and comprehension of abstract concepts such as momentum and impulse. Technological advancements have led to the use of software like Canva to create interactive PowerPoint presentations, which have improved the quality of learning. The objective of this study is to assess the efficacy of Canva-based learning media in the context of physics education. This study employed a systematic review with a bibliometric approach, whereby data were gathered from the Scopus database between 2014 and 2024. The selection of pertinent articles was conducted in accordance with the PRISMA method, which encompasses the following stages: identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. In order to ensure the quality and relevance of the selected articles, the inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied at each stage. The data were analyzed using VOSviewer with the objective of mapping research trends and interrelationships between variables. The results demonstrated an increase in publications related to Canva-based digital learning media, with the majority originating from Indonesia. The utilization of Canva has been demonstrated to enhance student motivation and engagement in physics learning, particularly at the secondary school level. However, it is essential to acknowledge the limitations of this digital learning medium.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics and feasibility of the simple harmonic vibration practicum e-module assisted by the Phyphox application, the level of students' science process skills after using the e-module, and students' responses to the e-module. The method in this study is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. The subjects of this study were 60 students of class XI MIPA 5 and XI MIPA 6 SMAN 1 Tengaran who were taken by purposive sampling techniques. Data collection is carried out using questionnaires and tests. This study obtained the following results: (1) the results of the E-module practicum validation test by experts obtained a percentage of 73,44% with feasible criteria; (2) the results of students' science process skills were obtained by an average percentage of 78.96% who met the good criteria; and (3) the results of the student response test to the practicum e-module obtained a percentage of 87.25% with excellent criteria. Judging from these results, the simple harmonic vibration practicum e-module assisted by the phyphox application in this study is declared valid and can be used to train students' science process skills.

Abstract

Regulations of Mendikbudristek RI No. 16 Tahun 2022, In order for the learning process to be effective and efficient, teachers must be able to create an interactive learning atmosphere and actively involve students. The goal of the physics learning process is to master the concept of physics. To improve concept mastery, a learner-centered learning model is needed with media that actively involves students. So the researchers tried to develop an Active Learning Based Interactive Conceptual Instructions (ALBICI) learning model with Predict Discuss Explain Observe Discuss Explain (PDEODE) strategy assisted by PhET Simulations to improve students' mastery of physics concepts. This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the developed learning model. The research method used in this study is the research and development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model research design (Analysist, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluations). This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Sukahaji with class X MIPA 1 as the trial class. The analysis technique to test the feasibility of the product uses expert validity test while to test the effectiveness of the product using N-Gain test and t-test. The product feasibility test showed that the experimental class lesson plan was 94% (very feasible) and the experimental class LKPD was 97% (very feasible). The N-Gain test results in the control class were 0.26 which was classified as low while in the experimental class 0.31 which was classified as moderate. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning model developed is quite effective. The t-test results based on the posttest results of the control and experimental classes obtained a thitung of 2.181 with a ttabel of 2.002. So that thitung < ttabel or it can be concluded that there is a difference in concept mastery between the control and experimental classes.

Abstract

The issue with the momentum material is that some students still rely on memorization to understand the concept of momentum, making it challenging to apply the concept to different conditions. This study aims to determine the impact of tracker videos on students’ analytical thinking and learning interest. The research use an experimental method with a Quasi-Experimental design, and the technique used was the One Group Pretest-Posttest. The sample for this study was class XI MIPA 1 at MA Mathalibul Huda Mlonggo in Jepara. Data collection techniques included pretests-posttests and questionnaires. Based on the research findings, the N-Gain test scored 0.9, which falls into the high category. These results indicate that tracker videos significantly influence students’ analytical thinking. The questionnaire results showed a very high positive level at 26%, with the participation of 7 students, a high positive level at 57%, and a moderate positive level at 17%. The conclusion of this study is that tracker videos can significantly increase students’ learning interest.

Abstract

After the covid 19 pandemic, it had an impact on learning loss in the world of education. so that the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology issued a decree to implement the independent curriculum as stated in the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia number 262 / M / 2022. Based on the implementation of the independent curriculum that has been running from 2022, there has not been much discussion about the suitability of the Final Semester Summative Assessment in terms of learning outcomes and the distribution of cognitive domains. The research to be carried out uses a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research will be carried out by determining the object of research on purpose, so the technique used is Purposive Sampling. The suitability of ASAS for Learning Outcomes (CP) which has high results with an average of 78% with various aspects of assessment including completeness of material, breadth of material, depth of material, accuracy of facts and concepts, accuracy of case examples, and suitability for scientific and contextual developments. Based on the distribution of cognitive domains when viewed from the percentage of each school, S01 has an even distribution and shows all levels of Low Order Thinking Skills (LOTS), Middle Thinking Skills (MOTS) and High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) but dominant in MOTS. The percentage in S02 shows ASAS instruments that have HOTS levels. While in S03, it represents the level of LOTS dominant test items. the knowledge dimension that is often presented is the conceptual dimension, which shows that the question seeks to improve students' concept understanding. 1) It is necessary to measure the ASAS instrument with several peers, so that the effectiveness of the measuring instrument and correlation can be determined 2) Analysis needs to be carried out by identifying the ASAS test instrument based on the AKM test instrum ent 3) The results of the study can be developed by preparing the ASAS test instrument based on the AKM test instrument.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the application of the RADEC learning model in improving students' critical thinking skills on dynamic fluid material. The method used is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of 24 students in class XI at Bunga Bangsa High School, Bandung City, who were selected using sampling purposive technique. The research test instrument was 18 multiple choice questions to measure critical thinking skills. Data were analyzed using N-Gain calculation, and effect size. The results showed that there was an increase in critical thinking skills in students who were treated with the RADEC learning model. After treatment with the RADEC learning model, the results found the N-Gain value of 0,62 which is in the medium category. The RADEC learning model is proven to have a positive impact on improving students' critical thinking skills with an effect size of 2,447 in the very high category.

Abstract

Pemahaman mahasiswa tentang struktur atom dipengaruhi oleh model mental yang mereka bentuk berdasarkan pengalaman belajar. Model mental ini beragam dan tidak selalu sesuai dengan konsep ilmiah yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan model mental mahasiswa tentang struktur atom serta implikasinya terhadap strategi pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan tes diagnostik two-tier dan wawancara klinis. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa model mental mahasiswa terbagi menjadi tiga kategori: mekanika kuantum (sesuai konsep ilmiah modern), intermediet (kombinasi teori klasik dan kuantum), dan klasik (berbasis model Bohr dan Rutherford). Faktor yang memengaruhi model mental ini meliputi pengalaman belajar, penggunaan analogi, dan pemahaman konsep abstrak. Strategi pembelajaran berbasis eksplorasi dan interaktif direkomendasikan untuk membantu mahasiswa membangun model mental yang lebih ilmiah.

Abstract

Pentingnya mengutamakan pendidikan dapat meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Proses pembelajaran pada bidang pendidikan selalu berkaitan dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran. Penggunaan media pembelajaran secara konvensional membuat mahasiswa kurang memahami konsep fisika dasar. Salah satu alternatif yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran secara digital yaitu PhET. Berdasarkan wawancara dengan dosen fisika, penggunaan media simulasi PhET masih belum maksimal dan mahasiswa belum memahami dasar-dasar serta mengaplikasikan penggunaan PhET yang disebabkan beberapa faktor. Dengan demikian, salah satu pendekatan teori yang dapat memahami dan menganalisis penggunaan teknologi yaitu menggunakan teori Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara ekspektasi kinerja, ekspektasi usaha, pengaruh sosial, dan kondisi fasilitas terhadap perilaku penggunaan dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran simulasi PhET. Penelitian analisis penggunaan media PhET dengan model UTAUT menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Responden penelitian ini sebanyak 23 mahasiswa fisika rombongan belajar B Universitas Negeri Semarang angkatan 2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode pengumpulan data survei dengan menggunakan instrumen angket yaitu google form. Metode analisis data menggunakan PLS-SEM dengan aplikasi pengolah data yaitu menggunakan software SmartPLS. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa kondisi fasilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku penggunaan dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran simulasi PhET. Sementara ekspektasi kinerja, ekspektasi usaha, dan pengaruh sosial tidak berpengaruh terhadap perilaku penggunaan dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran simulasi PhET.
