Abstract

The effectiveness of travel administrative management serves as the main factor in the requirements for organizing Hajj and Umrah, which has an impact on improving pilgrim services. This effectiveness is realized through three integrated service dimensions: first, administrative services; second, pilgrim guidance; and third, pilgrim direction. The study examines the organizational requirements for worship and their contribution to improving pilgrim services. The method used is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected from various literature sources, including books, journals, and regulations related to the organization of Hajj and Umrah in Indonesia. The effectiveness of Hajj and Umrah travel administrative management encompasses three interrelated main dimensions. Pilgrim direction as an operational-situational dimension includes the provision of health protocols, local Saudi Arabian regulations, and emergency response procedures. The effectiveness of direction depends on the accuracy of documentation of pilgrim participation and the optimization of multimodal media (print, interactive digital, and communication groups). The strategy includes a digital platform-based management system that connects administrative service data, guidance, and direction. This system enables real-time monitoring of pilgrim compliance and periodic evaluation. This study concludes that the success of travel administrative management is an absolute prerequisite for the comprehensive improvement of pilgrim services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development and integration of the "Talenta" program (Tahfidz Al-Qur'an, Language, and Tata Krama/Etiquette) at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 3 Bantul. This program was designed as a curricular innovation to meet contemporary challenges, where madrasah graduates are not only expected to memorize the Al-Qur'an but also to communicate globally and possess strong character. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that the integration of the language component (Arabic and English) equips the hafidz and hafidzah (Quran memorizers) with the skills to disseminate knowledge on an international scale. Meanwhile, the etiquette component serves as an ethical foundation, ensuring that the students' spiritual and intellectual intelligence remains rooted in Islamic moral values (akhlakul karimah). The integration of these three components creates a comprehensive, inclusive, and mutually reinforcing competence within the students.

Abstract

Lighting is an important aspect of building design that plays a role in creating visual comfort for space users. In mosque buildings, lighting not only functions to support visual activities, but also influences the atmosphere of the worship space so that the congregation can perform worship comfortably and devoutly. This study aims to analyze the level of natural and artificial lighting intensity in the main hall of the Darul Fallah Grand Mosque in Langsa City and its relationship to the congregation's visual comfort. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out by measuring light intensity using a lux meter at several measurement points and distributing questionnaires to mosque congregations to determine their perception of visual comfort. Measurements were carried out at three different times: before the Dhuhr prayer, before the Asr prayer, and after the Isha prayer. The measurement data were then compared with the lighting standards for worship spaces based on the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) which recommends a lighting level of 200 lux. The results of the study showed that the levels of natural and artificial lighting at several measurement points were still below the recommended standard. However, based on the questionnaire results, most congregations stated that the lighting conditions in the mosque were still in the category of being quite comfortable for worship activities. This shows that the perception of visual comfort is influenced not only by light intensity but also by factors such as light distribution, the room's atmosphere, and the user's visual adaptation. This research is expected to serve as a reference in designing lighting systems in mosques to improve the visual comfort of congregants while meeting applicable lighting standards.

Abstract

Media is an integral part of human life. The advent and development of the internet have brought new ways of communicating in social life. Social media has introduced and transformed the communication paradigm in today's society. Communication on social media is not limited by distance, time, or space. Communication can occur anywhere, anytime, without the need for face-to-face interaction. Social media can even eliminate social status, which often serves as a barrier to communication. The potential consequences of social media also require caution, as it opens up opportunities for every individual involved to freely express their opinions. However, self-control must be exercised to ensure freedom of communication that does not violate ethical boundaries and does not offend others.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the understanding of religious moderation within student organizations at MTs through a sociological lens, emphasizing aspects of leadership, dispute resolution, and value discussions. Student organizations play a crucial role in shaping character, promoting tolerance, and enhancing students' appreciation of diversity in the schooling context. The study uses a qualitative framework with a case study technique. Information was gathered via observations, interviews, and documentation involving both leaders and participants of student organizations at MTs. Findings indicate that leadership behaviors reflecting religious moderation literacy emphasize discussion, respect for others, and collaboration among members. Disputes in the organization typically stem from varying viewpoints, backgrounds, and levels of religious comprehension, yet they can be addressed through conversation and open discussions about values. Additionally, the negotiation of values is vital for fostering an inclusive, tolerant, and cohesive organizational culture. This research demonstrates that MTs student organizations play a significant role in promoting the principles of religious moderation and enhancing social bonds among students.
