Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pelayanan Sistem Penerimaan Murid Baru (SPMB) di SMP Negeri 4 Lamongan Tahun Pelajaran 2025/2026. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi terhadap panitia SPMB, calon murid, serta wali murid. Instrumen utama dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti, dengan instrumen pendukung berupa pedoman wawancara dan observasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara induktif menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan SPMB di SMP Negeri 4 Lamongan berjalan efektif ditinjau dari aspek pencapaian tujuan, integrasi, dan adaptasi. Target penerimaan peserta didik tercapai sesuai dengan daya tampung yang ditetapkan, koordinasi antar panitia berjalan dengan baik, serta terdapat kemampuan adaptasi dalam menghadapi kendala teknis dan kebutuhan masyarakat. Meskipun demikian, peningkatan sosialisasi dan pendampingan teknis masih diperlukan untuk mengoptimalkan kualitas pelayanan SPMB di masa mendatang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of POAC-based production management functions and the media strategies employed by TVRI. The research method used a qualitative descriptive approach with a constructivist paradigm. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document studies, then analyzed thematically using source triangulation. The results indicate that the Planning, Organizing, and Actuating functions operate quite well, but the Controlling function remains very weak. Production evaluations are conducted only on a routine administrative basis, without any concrete follow-up that would impact program quality improvement. This indicates a work culture that tends toward formality, resulting in the same weaknesses recurring from one episode to the next. This study recommends the need for a serious, transparent, and quality-improvement-oriented control mechanism so that the Arah Angin program does not simply become routine but can emerge as a reputable public broadcast.

Abstract

Penerapan SIREKAP di Kabupaten Aceh Besar pada Pemilu 2024 merupakan salah satu upaya KPU dalam mempercepat proses rekapitulasi suara dan meminimalkan potensi manipulasi data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi SIREKAP dan untuk mengetahui kendala dan hambatan SIREKAP pada Pemilu tahun 2024 di Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teori implementasi Van Horn dan Van Meter.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa standar implementasi yang ditetapkan KPU belum sepenuhnya terpenuhi secara merata. Dalam Impelementasi SIREKAP terdapat kendala teknis dan nonteknis. Dari sisi sumber daya, pelaksanaan SIREKAP di wilayah perkotaan relatif lancar karena didukung jaringan internet yang stabil dan kompetensi SDM yang memadai, sementara di wilayah terpencil masih terkendala infrastruktur dan literasi digital yang beragam. Komunikasi antar organisasi penyelenggara pemilu, baik vertikal maupun horizontal, telah berjalan namun belum optimal. Karakteristik pelaksana yang beragam dari segi usia, pengalaman, dan penguasaan teknologi berdampak pada perbedaan kecepatan adaptasi terhadap sistem digital ini. Kondisi sosial, ekonomi, politik, dan lingkungan masyarakat turut memengaruhi, di mana wilayah dengan partisipasi politik tinggi dan akses informasi yang baik cenderung lebih cepat menerima perubahan, sementara di daerah dengan keterbatasan akses masih muncul keraguan terhadap akurasi SIREKAP. Sikap pelaksana umumnya positif dan terbuka terhadap penggunaan teknologi, namun perlu ditopang dengan pelatihan berkelanjutan, strategi adaptasi lokal, dan penguatan kepercayaan publik agar SIREKAP dapat memenuhi tujuan transparansi, akuntabilitas, dan efisiensi secara menyeluruh di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Elementary education focuses not only on students' academic abilities but also on their overall development. Guidance and Counseling (BK) in elementary schools is crucial for helping students understand their potential, face challenges, and build strong character. Students receive support in their physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth through BK services. This article examines relevant literature on how to maximize student development through BK services in elementary schools using descriptive qualitative methods. This research demonstrates that BK teachers help students develop, instill values and ethics, shape character, and help them face developmental challenges. To maximize BK services, teachers, parents, and schools must work together effectively. With the right support, BK services can significantly contribute to the holistic, independent, and future-ready growth of students.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the causal relationship between social media marketing, online reviews, price discounts, and halal cosmetics on consumer purchase intention for skincare product X in the digital environment. The approach used was quantitative, using the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method, analyzed using SmartPLS software. The study involved 170 respondents aged 18–28 who actively access skincare products through digital media. Respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique, while the research instrument consisted of 17 statement items. The study findings indicate that social media marketing, online reviews, and halal cosmetics have a positive and significant influence on purchase intention, while price discounts did not prove to have a significant effect. Practically, the results of this study were implemented through the development of a prototype e-commerce skincare application called SKINSHOP, designed as a decision support system to assist consumers in selecting skincare products more systematically and informatively.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence behavioral intention in using virtual try-on (VTO) technology for makeup products. The variables tested in this study include perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, social influence, and perceived trust. This study used a quantitative approach with an online survey method. Data were collected from 170 respondents who were Generation Z, domiciled in DKI Jakarta, and knew or had used the virtual try-on feature for makeup products. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data were collected through an online questionnaire. The data analysis technique used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach to test the relationship between variables in the research model. The results showed that perceived ease of use had a positive and significant effect on behavioral intention and perceived usefulness. In addition, social influence had a positive and significant effect on behavioral intention and perceived trust. Perceived trust was also shown to have a positive and significant effect on behavioral intention in using virtual try-on technology. However, perceived usefulness did not show a significant effect on behavioral intention. Furthermore, the test results show that perceived trust mediates the effect of social influence on behavioral intention, indicating that social influence can increase intention to use virtual try-on technology by building user trust. This study recommends that beauty brands focus their virtual try-on technology development on aspects of ease of use, increasing user trust, and leveraging social influence through digital media to increase usage interest among Generation Z.

Abstract

This research explores the character development of a major character in The Wild Robot movie (2024), Brightbill, a Canada goose. Brightbill as a major character is depicted as a weak and dependent figure until finally over time he learns to live like a normal Canada goose and transcend against his own weaknesses. The method used in this research is the qualitative method. Using Lajos’ theory to describe the character of Brightbill’s, and William Kenney’s theoretical framework to explores Brightbill’s character, characterization, and character development through the narrative, also Ryan and Deci’s to reveal the factors of character development in the story. The result of this research is to show the growth and transformation in the characters throughout the storyline that make the characters better than before in the end. Beside this research contains many moral values to the audience, therefore, Brightbill's character development in The Wild Robot movie (2024) reflects a complex and emotional journey from fear and withdrawal to acceptance and courage. This transformation is not only a story of self struggle, but also illustrates how Brightbill’s character development is shaped through choices and conflicts.”

Abstract

Impression management, in the concept of role, is the management of the impression displayed by a person according to the role they play. This impression management also leads to the assessment of the people they want to portray. This study aims to determine how doctors and nurses manage their impression management in dealing with their front region and back region in the workplace, as well as what obstacles doctors and nurses experience in managing their impression management towards mental patients. This study used descriptive qualitative research, where the informants were obtained through a purposive sampling method. To analyze this study, the researcher used Erving Goffman's Dramaturgy theory. Data were collected through interviews, in-depth observations, and literature studies, and then analyzed using a qualitative approach. The results of this study showed a positive impression between health workers towards patients and their families, this also indicates that the services available at the Aceh Provincial Mental Hospital are improving. Doctors and nurses are also able to carry out their front region consistently within the scope of their work. However, the impression displayed among fellow workers does not always go well, namely the obstacles experienced by doctors and nurses when interacting and dealing with mental patients with various forms of medical backgrounds. Then there's the impact of work fatigue and differing understandings. The appearances in the front region are also inextricably linked to the influence of the back region, where doctors and nurses prepare themselves as best as possible to be judged well on their work. Therefore, when healthcare workers project their impressions to those around them, dramaturgy theory can be seen in the way doctors and nurses act and carry themselves in their roles.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a linguistic and cultural adaptation of the Body Acceptance by Others Scale-2 (BAOS-2) into Indonesian and to evaluate its validity and reliability through an Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) approach. Participants consisted of 305 individuals aged over 17 years, selected using purposive sampling. The data suitability test showed a Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) value of 0.932 and a significant Bartlett’s Test (p < .001), indicating that the data were appropriate for further analysis. The EFA identified a single main factor with an eigenvalue of 6.556, explaining 46.3% of the total variance, with all items having factor loadings ≥ 0.60. These findings indicate that the Indonesian version of the BAOS-2 has a stable unidimensional structure and excellent psychometric properties. The scale is culturally relevant and can be used to measure individuals’ perceptions of body acceptance by others in the Indonesian societal context. Furthermore, the reliability analysis showed that the instrument demonstrated good internal consistency, with a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.783, exceeding the minimum threshold of 0.70 and supporting the feasibility of using the scale in the Indonesian cultural context.

Abstract

This study analyzes the strategies and effectiveness of the Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu) of Central Kalimantan Province in monitoring campaign violations in the 2024 Gubernatorial and Deputy Gubernatorial Election, focusing on the urban area of Palangka Raya City. The objective of the present study is to evaluate the patterns of handling violations, considering Palangka Raya as the political center of the province with the highest vulnerability. This includes violations of campaign props (APK) zoning, campaign schedules, civil servants' neutrality, and money politics. This is of paramount importance to maintaining the integrity of democracy and ensuring fairness among contestants. This research method employs a descriptive qualitative approach through a case study conducted from September to December 2025, with primary data from interviews with key informants (Bawaslu Legal Division, Gakkumdu, volunteers) and secondary data from regulations such as Law No. 7/2017. The analysis employs the Miles-Huberman model, incorporating triangulation to ensure validity. The findings of this research indicate that violations were predominantly characterized by administrative issues, such as the use of illegal campaign props, and breaches of the organizers' code of ethics, accounting for a total of two primary cases. There were no significant election-related criminal offenses observed. Bawaslu implements a multifaceted supervisory approach, encompassing preventive measures such as participatory socialization, reactive measures including field patrols, and a collaborative element involving Gakkumdu and volunteers. However, this approach is constrained by a 7-day handling time and vertical coordination. The primary contribution of this research is the analysis of the synchronization between provincial and city Bawaslu in the context of the 2024 regional elections in urban areas, recommending reforms in time management and human resources for optimal effectiveness
