Abstract

Personality testing is an activity conducted by individuals to identify and obtain results about their personality traits. One method used for this purpose is the DISC method (Dominant, Influence, Steadiness, Compliance). Implementing this method in personality testing is expected to be beneficial in business, employment, and organizational. Moreover, companies may consider using this test when recruiting employees. The rapid advancement of technology and the widespread use of Android-based mobile devices, reaching 79.96% in 2022, alongside the previously manual administration of personality tests, are primary factors driving the development of a mobile personality test application using the DISC method. This application is designed as a questionnaire to be filled out by individuals, and upon completion, the results will be immediately displayed to them. To enhance the test results, the application will provide general information about the characteristics, common traits, and example jobs associated with each personality type based on the DISC theory. This information aims to help individuals expand their understanding, knowledge, and application of the DISC method across various domains, including education, employment, organizations, and personal development. Additionally, the application implements the Linear Congruential Generator (LCG) as a randomization algorithm for the questionnaire, ensuring that each individual receives unique questions. Abstract

This research discusses the importance of web-based motor vehicle sales information systems in supporting the development of the automotive industry in the digital era. With population growth, and economic development driving demand for motor vehicles, the automotive industry faces complex challenges in meeting the needs of modern consumers. This resarch discusses the development and implementation of a web-based application information system designed for motor vehicle sales. The purpose of this system is to create an efficient and user-friendly platform that connects sellers and buyers, streamlining the buying and selling process of motor vehicles. The application includes various features such as user validations, detailed vehicle listings, advanced search and filter capabilities, secure transaction processing, and real-time chat support. Additionally, the system integrates a robust database management system to store and manage vehicle and user data securely.This study integrates understanding of information technology, business, and legal aspects to explore how such information systems can add value to consumers and stakeholders in the automotive supply chain. In this paper, we highlight changes in consumer behavior, transformations in the automotive industry, and data security as key factors influencing the relevance and need for such information systems. The findings of this research are expected to provide valuable insights for the automotive industry and related stakeholders in developing responsive and effective information systems. Abstract

The continuous development of information technology has an impact on the security of sensitive data and information. Cryptography is one of the relevant techniques to maintain data security and confidentiality. The encryption process converts the original data into an unintelligible format called chipertext, while the decryption process converts the chipertext back into the original data or plaintext. This research designs a cryptographic application using 128 bit AES algorithm to increase the security and trust of users in sending and storing text data. This application helps users protect data and provides a high level of security. The research method used is a literature study. The object-oriented system design analysis technique uses UML to model the system structure. The test results show that the encryption and decryption process runs according to the functionality. Overall, this application can provide confidence to users in securing text data through the encryption and decryption process. This research is expected to be an effective solution for individuals and organizations in maintaining the confidentiality of information. This application is also expected to adapt to the ever-changing development of security technology, so that it remains relevant and effective in the future. Abstract

Small Medium Enterprise (SME) frequently still use manual recording to manage staff attendance and payroll, which leads to errors and inefficiencies. The goal of this research is to create a mobile web payroll system that is integrated with an Android application based on QR codes to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processing for employees of small and medium-sized businesses. The attendance application was developed in Android Studio with the Java programming language, while the payroll system was developed with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. A cloud-based database platform called Firebase is utilized. This research uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling method. The attendance application is able to record employee attendance automatically through QR code scanning. The payroll system provides full control for SME owners, allowing the process of controlling, monitoring, and printing accurate attendance and payroll reports. The use of this attendance application and payroll system will reduce manual errors, improve operational efficiency, and provide real-time control to SME owners. The integration of the attendance application and employee payroll system is very important to improve the competitiveness and adaptability of SMEs in the digital era. Abstract

Palm oil is one of the main agricultural commodities in Indonesia. Oil palms are inseparable from disease attacks which can cause their growth to decrease. Limited information and knowledge of farmers hinders disease control. This research focuses on the need for a system that can help identify palm oil diseases. This research begins with collecting a dataset, then the data preprocessing stage is carried out. Next, the AI ​​model is developed, then the model is trained, validated and evaluated. After that, the model is implemented and tested and documentation and reports are created. During the 20 epochs carried out, there were variations in performance improvements. Although initially the model accuracy was still low, over time the model accuracy began to increase. The test results show that the process of detecting types of oil palm disease is very dependent on image quality, shooting distance, lighting conditions and noise in the image. Test results on a dataset consisting of 6 classes show an accuracy level of 98.63 percent. This image detection system provides good test results for recognizing new data. Thus, this system has proven to be effective and can be used to detect oil palm plant diseases. Abstract

In the current era of globalization, information technology is rapidly advancing, supporting almost all operations with technology-based applications, including Android smartphones. This technology facilitates access to information and data processing, thereby enhancing the efficiency and productivity of various sectors. Many service businesses now promote themselves through social media and print media, offering wide reach and direct interaction with customers. Service businesses, including car rental services, need to adopt technology to efficiently and effectively meet customer needs. Conventional car rental often faces issues such as vehicle condition discrepancies, complex administrative processes, and difficulties in monitoring orders and customer data. CV. Sahabat Maju Borneo in Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan, also experiences difficulties in monitoring orders, facing customer data uncertainties, and constraints in selecting types of cars and knowing applicable rates. To address these issues, the author has developed a service application. This application allows business owners to monitor orders, view customer data, review rates, and record available car data. Customers can request rentals, choose cars, access rental rules, and know rates through this application. The "Sahabat Maju Borneo" application is effective in addressing various problems faced by conventional car rentals. This digital innovation enhances customer satisfaction and business productivity, and supports business sustainability in the modern technology era. Abstract

Cafe Ozora is located on Jl. Ampera, pal IX, Sungai Jawi, Kec. Pontianak city, West Kalimantan. The goal of Cafe Ozora is to provide a unique cafe experience by serving high-quality coffee, delicious snacks, and a comfortable atmosphere for customers and strive to ensure that the cafe is not only a place to enjoy coffee, but also a community center where people can gather, work, and relax. As time goes by, Cafe Ozora understands that modern customers want convenience in ordering food. Therefore, the author initiated to create a web-based ordering application, where customers can easily browse the menu, order food, and even pay in cash and online. The food ordering application can also help Cafe Ozora improve their operational efficiency. With an order management system integrated with a MySQL database, cafe managers can track orders better, manage inventory, and estimate demand more accurately. The software for managing orders at the cafe is a web-based application that utilizes gadgets as tools. This application will be designed with an attractive and user-friendly interface. Through this interface, users can access the list of menus available at the cafe. Abstract

Indonesia is the second largest producer of marine fish in the world based on data from the Food and Agriculture Organization 2022. Fish is a food that contains excellent protein, fat, vitamins, and minerals. According to data from the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, the national fish consumption rate continues to increase, reaching 57.27 kg/capita in 2022. Therefore, it is important to know which fish are fresh and suitable for consumption. In this research, fish freshness detection will be carried out using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method. The detection process will be carried out using three classes, namely fresh, not fresh, and rotten. SVM is a linear classifier, but it is developed to work on nonlinear data with the concept of kernels in a high-dimensional workspace. The results of testing the SVM model show that the accuracy of the model with the Radial Basic Function (RBF) kernel produces 99 percent accuracy with parameters C = 10 and gamma = 0.5. Abstract

Kesenjangan antara idealisme dengan realitas dalam konteks Undang-Undang Hak Cipta serta praktik pembajakan film di platform Layar Kaca 21 menjadi perhatian utama dalam penelitian ini, dengan maksud untuk menggali motivasi di balik preferensi konsumen atau informan terhadap situs ilegal daripada layanan legal seperti Netflix, Viu, WeTV, dan sejenisnya. Setelah itu, penelitian ini juga menganalisis apa dan bagaimana yang seharusnya dilakukan pemerintah dan industri kreatif untuk menanggulangi masalah ini. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif yang memanfaatkan wawancara semi-terstruktur serta telaah pustaka sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Wawancara semi-terstruktur telah dilaksanakan dengan lima mahasiswa Sosiologi Fisip UNILA secara aktif memilih LK21 sebagai platform utama untuk menonton film. Data yang dihasilkan berupa data primer dan data sekunder bersumber dari bahan bacaan peneliti. Dari hasil penelitian, terlihat bahwa aksesbilitas dan kondisi ekonomi menjadi pendorong utama bagi informan dalam menonton film ilegal di platform seperti LK21. Masalah ini menjadi serius karena industri kreatif di bidang perfilman dilanda kerugian akibat adanya oknum yang melakukan penduplikasi dan mengomersialkan karya cipta orang lain. Peraturan Presiden Nomor 24 Tahun 2010 menetapkan segala tugas dan fungsi dari Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika (KOMINFO) menjadi pedoman bagi pemerintah dalam hal penanggulangan masalah budaya pembajakan film yang kian marak terjadi.

Abstract

Beauty clinic is a place that provides various beauty treatment and skin health services for the people around Pontianak City. Some customers have limited access to information and the locations of beauty clinics around them. Therefore, this study aims to design a web-based Location Information System by utilizing the Google Maps API to map beauty clinics in Pontianak City. This research employs a descriptive research design and data collection methods through observation and literature studies. For system requirements analysis and system design, the author uses Unified Modeling Language (UML), while system design applications include Visual Studio Code, XAMPP, MySQL, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and Google Maps API. This system can help customers find the nearest beauty clinic based on their location and obtain detailed information about the services available at each clinic. Additionally, the system offers a comparison feature between clinics based on distance, type of services, and customer reviews, making it easier for users to make informed decisions. The aim of this study is to develop a Location Information System website that displays the locations of beauty clinics in Pontianak City. This website is expected to be a solution for the people of Pontianak in finding beauty services that match their needs. Moreover, this system is expected to improve time efficiency and customer accessibility in obtaining beauty service information.
