Abstract

Humans as social creatures interact to fulfill their needs in life. The need to be loved is one of the social needs that humans need. Therefore, humans always want to have a romantic relationship. A person can have a romantic relationship, which is also called dating. A boyfriend or girlfriend is an important need in a person's life because when they are with their partner a person is more courageous in expressing their ideas, thoughts, opinions, feelings and behavior, which makes it easier for them to be involved in the socialization process. Communication is the most important key in a relationship so that individuals understand each other and there are no misunderstandings between partners that result in the collapse of the relationship. Love language communication is the unique way each person expresses their affection in a relationship, which can be through words of affirmation, quality time, acts of service, receiving gifts, and physical touch. This theory was developed and introduced by Gary Chapman in 1992. This research employs a qualitative method, including interviews, document analysis, and field observations. The aim of this study is to discover the love languages of each individual in a relationship and how they express and communicate these love languages to their partners through everyday activities to satisfy their partners in maintaining a relationship. The research findings indicate that communication between couples in expressing their affection can vary, whether through verbal or non- verbal means, such as providing encouragement, spending quality time together, giving gifts, physical touch, and problem-solving using each partner's love language, discussing issues to find solutions to prevent prolonged conflicts.

Abstract

This study comprehensively examines the responsibilities of Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers in improving the quality of student learning, encompassing academic, character, faith, and spiritual aspects. Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers function not only as instructors delivering subject matter but also as educators, mentors, and role models of Christian life, bearing moral and spiritual responsibilities in shaping students' personalities. The role of Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers is highly strategic, as they play a vital role in instilling faith values, building learning motivation, and shaping students' character with integrity. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach with purposeful sampling, involving Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers with at least five years of teaching experience to ensure the depth of the data obtained. Data were collected through classroom observations, portfolio documentation, teacher reflections, and open-ended questionnaires to obtain a realistic picture of teaching practices. Analysis was conducted descriptively to highlight the phenomena occurring in the field. The results indicate that the responsibilities of Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers include sistem lesson planning, setting clear objectives, selecting appropriate teaching methods, providing positive motivation, building harmonious relationships between teachers and students, and serving as role models consistent with the teachings of Christ. Catholic Religious Education teachers who emulate Jesus' method, prioritizing love, integrity, rationality, and creativity, are able to create an effective, enjoyable, and meaningful learning environment, both academically and spiritually. These findings confirm that the quality of Catholic Religious Education teachers directly influences students' motivation, academic achievement, character, and faith development. Therefore, the responsibility of Catholic Religious Education teachers extends beyond the transfer of knowledge to fostering faith, morals, ethics, and spirituality, which are the primary foundations of holistic education based on Christian values.
