Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran gaya bahasa dalam memperkenalkan masakan tradisional Bali kepada wisatawan internasional melalui media promosi digital. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan sumber data utama berupa teks promosi pada laman Agoda.com yang memuat narasi tentang beberapa kuliner khas Bali. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa gaya bahasa yang digunakan mencakup personifikasi, hiperbola, dan metafora. Selain itu, ditemukan empat fungsi utama dari gaya bahasa, yaitu fungsi estetika, persuasif, ekspresif, dan identitas. Fungsi-fungsi ini berkontribusi dalam menciptakan citra kuliner Bali yang menarik dan otentik di mata wisatawan mancanegara. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa gaya bahasa memiliki kekuatan retoris dan kultural yang signifikan dalam mendukung promosi pariwisata berbasis warisan budaya

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the empowerment of youth leadership in the context of the Christian church in Indonesia, focusing on the challenges faced by youth in leading and contributing to church service amid rapid social, economic, and technological changes. The research method used is a qualitative approach with literature review and in-depth interviews with young people in the church, pastors, and Christian leadership practitioners. The findings show that the gap between older and younger generations in their understanding of leadership is a major challenge, with the younger generation emphasizing leadership based on collaboration and competence, while the older generation associates leadership with authority and experience. Furthermore, disparities in access to education, economic opportunities, and digital literacy exacerbate the situation of youth leadership empowerment. The implications of this study highlight the importance of implementing transformational leadership that bridges generational differences, as well as the need for youth empowerment through inclusive education and relevant digital leadership training programs. This study offers recommendations for the development of more adaptive and equitable leadership training programs across all societal levels.

Abstract

One of the demands of the 1998 Reformation spirit is the abolition of the Dual Function of ABRI. The presence of the TNI in the civilian realm that is humanist and deliberative for consensus raises various problems because they are educated with doctrines for war and national defense. The phenomenon of ABRI's Dual Function reappeared due to the Revision of Law Number 34 of 2004 concerning TNI. The revision also affects the position of the TNI in the Indonesian State System. This study is to find out how the position of the TNI in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and how the implications of changes in the TNI Law on the Indonesian constitutional order, as well as provide conclusions and suggestions based on the findings that have been researched. The method used is normative juridical research with descriptive and qualitative approaches through literature study. The results showed that the position of the TNI is in accordance with the mandate of the Constitution, namely as a tool to defend, protect, and maintain the integrity and sovereignty of the state. The occupation of the TNI in the civilian sphere is certainly not in accordance with the mandate of the constitution, especially the rigid TNI approach and one command is considered incompatible with the needs of a humanist society and consensus. In conclusion, the occupation of the TNI is not appropriate in the civilian sphere because they are educated with doctrines for war and national defense. As a result, the presence of the TNI in the civilian sector can cause various problems and incongruities.

Abstract

Character education is a crucial aspect in shaping a generation with noble character and religious values amid the challenges of globalization and moral decline. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers play a strategic role in internalizing character values through integrated learning and exemplary behavior. This study aims to describe the efforts of PAI teachers in shaping students' character education, including planning, implementation, organizational system, evaluation, and the results of its implementation. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that character education programs are planned through the School Curriculum, implemented collaboratively by all teachers, and evaluated through participatory meetings. Core character values such as religiosity and discipline are instilled through activities such as Qur'an memorization (tahfidz), dhuha prayer, and integration into Islamic education subjects. The transformation of student character occurs gradually and requires a sustainable process, yet it shows positive developments supported by the school environment and parental involvement. The findings imply the importance of teacher collaboration and institutional commitment in developing contextual and continuous character education models.

Abstract

The authoritative document entity commonly referred to as the Certificate of Ownership (SHM) is legally constructed as a supremacy manifestation of the dominant right to geocadastral space, as determined by the legislative norm of lex generalis contained in Law Number 5 of 1960 concerning Basic Agrarian Principles (UUPA). Terminologically, Article 20 paragraph (1) of the UUPA affirms that the dominant right is an absolute hereditary prerogative and has the highest legal density in the agrarian civil structure. This study is intended as an academic examination of the legal empire of the SHM document which was born from a legal substratum that experienced validity dysfunction, using the doctrinal paradigm of the principle of Nemo Plus Juris ad alium transferre potest quam ipse habet. This research is articulated through a doctrinal-normative legal approach based on the explication of positive legal literature and judicial jurisprudence. The results of the investigation conclude that the SHM entity derived from the legal anomaly-affected legal basis does not have normative validity that can be constitutionally maintained. The internality of the Nemo Plus Juris principle shows that legal actors do not have the authority to transfer rights that are not legally attached to them, so that the legal alienation process by the defendants in the form of a sale and purchase is null and void in material law. The implication is that the plaintiff's legal standing as a legal subject with land rights that are previously legally valid has the legitimacy to file an administrative cancellation of the SHM and reconstruction of the ownership status to the entity that is legally entitled. The judicium issued by the Panel of Judges at the Tondano District Court in the a quo case has substantially been in line with the principles of proportionality and legality, and has utilized legal instruments as a protective medium for the existence of legitimate agrarian rights. This confirms the supremacy of law in maintaining the integrity of the national land system from manipulative penetration based on flawed formalities of the right base.

Abstract

This study explores the principal's role in improving teachers' pedagogical competence at SMPN 1 Kedawung. The research aims to analyze how the principal, through various leadership functions, contributes to the development of teachers' pedagogical capabilities. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that the principal performs multiple roles including educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, and motivator. Concrete strategies implemented include weekly briefings, structured training programs, effective use of school operational funds, reflective academic supervision, integration of educational technology, and humanistic leadership practices. These efforts have significantly influenced teachers’ abilities in planning, delivering, and evaluating learning processes. The study underscores the importance of transformational and participatory leadership in fostering sustainable teacher development. The results suggest that strengthening the principal's strategic role can create a more supportive and professional teaching environment, ultimately enhancing the quality of education.

Abstract

Social media is now an important part of modern life, but the improper use of such platforms has the potential to cause various problems, such as the spread of fake news, online harassment, and addiction. This research aims to see how Generation Z uses digital literacy in social media. Generation Z grew up in the digital age, and has a unique way of interacting with technology. This study uses a qualitative approach through interviews, the subjects are high school students between the ages of 15-17 years. This study was conducted in May 2025. This study proposes to increase the digital literacy of Gen-Z so that social media is used wisely and responsibly, because there are still many aspects that must be improved, including the ability to verify information and understand the ethical consequences of using social media.

Abstract

This qualitative study investigates how the work environment influences employee stress levels and performance at a PVC ceiling distribution company in Gemolong. A comfortable and supportive workplace is considered essential in fostering employee productivity, while unmanaged stress can hinder work outcomes. The research adopts a case study approach, gathering data through in-depth interviews with five current employees, complemented by direct observation and document analysis. Results indicate that both the physical layout and social dynamics of the workplace significantly shape employees’ perceptions and behaviors. Positive environmental conditions—such as cleanliness, mutual support, and safety—help reduce stress and enhance work quality. In contrast, unclear roles, workplace noise, and poor communication were commonly associated with increased stress and decreased performance. The study recommends that the company pay attention to improving both tangible and intangible elements of the work environment to support employee well-being and maintain performance standards.

Abstract

Teaching Factory is a learning approach focused on real production and service activities, where students are directly involved in actual work processes. The main goal of this approach is to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset among students. This study aims to explore the relationship between students’ interest in business and the implementation of the Teaching Factory (TeFa) program in vocational schools. The research was conducted on 11th-grade Culinary students at SMK Negeri 9 Padang. A quantitative method with a correlational approach was used. A total of 70 students participated as respondents, selected through proportional random sampling. Data was collected using a direct questionnaire based on a Likert scale, which had been tested for both reliability and validity. The results show a positive and significant relationship between students’ entrepreneurial interest and the implementation of the Teaching Factory among the 11th-grade Culinary students. Students’ entrepreneurial interest at SMK Negeri 9 Padang falls into the moderate category at 37%, and the implementation of the Teaching Factory is also in the moderate category at 33%.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial interest has become one way to overcome the low number of entrepreneurs, especially among vocational school graduates. In this study, the entrepreneurial interest of eleventh-grade culinary students at SMK 1 Ampek Angkek will be explained, the teaching factory in the Creative Project and Entrepreneurship subject will be described, and the relationship between entrepreneurial interest and the teaching factory in the Creative Project and Entrepreneurship subject will be investigated. This type of study uses correlational methodology and is quantitative in nature. 54 students from the XI Culinary Department of SMK 1 Ampek Angkek constitute the population in this study. The sampling method used is total sampling, also known as census sampling. A Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability is used in the direct distribution of questionnaires for data collection. Descriptive analysis and correlation analysis are applied in data analysis. According to research, 35% of culinary students in the XI grade at SMK Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek have a moderate interest in starting their own business. With a ratio of 65%, the learning factory in the subjects of Creative Projects and Entrepreneurship is classified as average. The findings indicate that among culinary students in the XI grade at SMK 1 Ampek Angkek, there is a good and significant correlation between the teaching methods in the subjects of Creative Projects and Entrepreneurship and the students' interest in entrepreneurship.
