Abstract

This study aims to analyze the function of madrasahs as bridging institutions between the framework of Islamic education and the national education framework. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach based on library research by examining primary sources such as the Qur’an, Hadith, the National Education System Law, and regulations issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, complemented by secondary sources including books, scholarly articles, and previous studies. The findings reveal that madrasahs play an integrative role across three key dimensions. First, in the epistemological dimension, madrasahs connect revelation-based knowledge with modern scientific knowledge in a harmonious manner. Second, in the curricular dimension, madrasahs integrate the Islamic Religious Education curriculum with the national curriculum through a synthesis of curriculum structure, instructional practices, and character development. Third, in the cultural dimension, madrasahs cultivate Islamic identity while simultaneously strengthening national character and Indonesian values. This study concludes that madrasahs serve as strategic institutions that successfully integrate religious values with national educational demands and are capable of functioning as a model for integrated education in Indonesia

Abstract

Social justice is one of the core principles in Islamic teachings, serving as the foundation for the creation of a harmonious and civilized society. The Qur’an, as the primary source of Islamic law and ethics, frequently emphasizes the importance of justice in various aspects of life, including law, economy, and social relations. Justice in the Qur’anic perspective extends beyond legal fairness; it encompasses moral, spiritual, and humanitarian dimensions rooted in the unity of God (tawḥīd). This study aims to examine the concept of social justice from the Qur’anic perspective by analyzing verses that discuss the principles of justice and their implementation in modern society. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with a thematic analysis of relevant Qur’anic verses and interpretations from both classical and modern exegeses.Through this method, the study seeks to uncover the comprehensive meaning of justice within both theological and social dimensions.The findings indicate that the Qur’an regards justice as a central pillar in establishing social order. The Qur’anic conception of social justice encompasses equality, social responsibility, and the protection of human rights without discrimination.These principles are highly relevant to the modern world, which continues to face inequality and structural injustice. Therefore, the application of Qur’anic justice values can serve as a moral and ethical framework for creating a fair, prosperous, and compassionate society.

Abstract

The advancement of medical technology and the increasing number of organ failure cases have positioned organ transplantation as an essential solution for saving human lives. However, this progress must be accompanied by a comprehensive understanding of legal and ethical frameworks to ensure that transplantation practices remain within humanitarian boundaries and are protected from misuse. This article discusses the urgency of understanding the legal dimensions of organ transplantation in the modern era through an analysis of national regulations, ethical–juridical challenges, and contemporary fiqh perspectives. Based on literature studies and case analyses, it is found that although the legal framework already exists, various issues persist, such as legal uncertainty for donors and recipients, the potential commercialization of organs, and ethical conflicts in practice. Therefore, strengthening regulations, increasing public education, and ensuring synergy between positive law and Islamic legal principles are necessary to guarantee that organ transplantation is carried out lawfully, ethically, and with dignity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and revitalize instructional methods in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) to align with the learning needs and characteristics of Generation Alpha. Using a library research approach, this study examines recent scholarly articles on pedagogical innovation, digital learning, and the effectiveness of the lecture method in contemporary educational contexts. The findings indicate that digital-native learners prefer visual, interactive, and collaborative learning experiences, which necessitates updating traditional methods such as lectures without diminishing their historical and pedagogical value. The analysis reveals that the scientific approach, constructivism, and problem-based learning consistently enhance student engagement, motivation, and higher-order thinking skills. The scientific approach provides systematic learning stages, constructivism fosters independent knowledge construction, and PBL strengthens problem-solving abilities. Integrating these approaches with digital technology significantly improves the delivery and internalization of Islamic values within PAI learning. This study highlights the need for a revitalized lecture model that is adaptive, interactive, and relevant to Generation Alpha’s learning patterns. In conclusion, a technologically enriched and participatory lecture method has the potential to bridge the gap between Islamic educational traditions and the demands of digital-era learning, while making a meaningful contribution to the development of contemporary PAI pedagogy.

Abstract

Bodily health is one of the most important things to discuss in human life. Some studies link the relationship between the structure of the human body and its health. Linking the human body and health to religious teachings is not new and is found in almost all religions in the world. End-of-Days Medicine is a complementary therapy method that looks at the structure of the human body differently, based on the inspiration found in the Qur'an by its inventor, and sees a connection between the structure of the body and human health. This research combines qualitative and quantitative methods to obtain more accurate data, with a literature review and field observation approach. The results show that this type of theology is not something that deviates from religious teachings and is also not something that contradicts science. The understanding of the body structure in the style of the PAZ Therapy Method is interesting for further research, because it is a new paradigm that has never been put forward by health practitioners before and now.

Abstract

This research is to examine Tafsir al-Thabari Hadith and Tafsir Bi al-Ma'Tsur:. The results of the analysis found that Thabari has taken a very important methodological step, where the interpretation does not only contain explanations of narrations and atsar, which is often called tafsir bil ma'tsur (tafsir with history), but with Thabari's work, the interpretation has been mixed with analytical studies that do not deviate from the path of truth. The interpretation model produced by Thabari is considered by some specialist scholars as a new work. They say that Ibn Jarir Ath-Thabari's interpretation has become a scientific interpretation that tends to prioritize the analytical side rather than the atsar side. As for assessing the validity of Imam al-Thabari's hadith that he used in interpreting the verses of the Qur'an, it can be seen in the footnotes in the book Tafsir Jami' al-Bayan Ta'wil al-Qur'an Imam al-Thabari explains in full regarding the hadith he quoted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of the Hadith in contextual interpretation to contemporary issues of human rights, environmental protection, and social justice. Overall, the contribution of the Hadith to the interpretation of human rights issues in Islam lies in explaining, reinforcing, and operationalizing the principles of the Quran, so that humanitarian values ​​are not merely conceptualized at a level, but are embodied in the social practices of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), which were violent and upheld respect for human dignity. The Hadith also establishes a normative structure for human rights by establishing legal boundaries that safeguard the right to life while considering justice and social welfare. It also expands the meaning of human rights beyond mere physical protection to a moral obligation to help one another, maintain honor, and meet the needs of others. Thus, the Hadith is key to understanding and implementing human rights in Islam in a comprehensive, holistic, and contextual manner, in accordance with the mission of rahmatan lil-'alamin (blessing for all the worlds).

Abstract

This research is to determine the integration of Hadith in Tafsir Al-Tahrir Wa Al-Tanwir by Ibnu 'Asyur. Ibn 'Asyur emphasized that the interpretation of the Qur'an must be based on two main pillars: First, the authority of the Prophet's hadith as explanation (al-bayan). Second, linguistic-balaghah analysis as a fundamental method. Muhammad Ibn 'Asyur's approach in writing his tafsir can be concluded as an analytical method (tahlili) which includes one methodology, namely the bil-lughah method or entering the tahlili method. Muhammad Tahir Ibn 'Asyur divides maqasid al-syari'ah into two, first, maqasid al-tasyri' al-ammah are the hidden meanings and wisdom in all or the majority of laws. Second, maqasid al-khasah are the methods desired by the Shari' to realize human benefits.

Abstract

This study aims to critique Hadith in interpreting gender issues in the Qur'an. The results of the study found that the methodology of hadith criticism, both sanad criticism and matan criticism, is a very important instrument in interpreting Qur'anic verses on gender. Without adequate criticism, hadith can be misused to legitimize discriminatory practices against women, even though Islam, as a religion of rahmatan lil 'alamin, cannot possibly teach injustice. Understanding the historical, sociological, and cultural context in which a hadith was uttered or a verse was revealed is a necessity. Some hadith that appear patriarchal are actually responses to specific situations during the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and cannot be generalized to all contexts. For example, the hadith on female leadership (QS. An-Nisa' [4]: ​​34) needs to be understood in the specific context of the collapse of the Persian Empire, not as a universal prohibition against female leadership.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era of 2025, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in Indonesia faces significant challenges in shaping resilient Islamic character among students who spend considerable time on digital devices. This study aims to develop a PAI curriculum model based on Islamic character that integrates religious values, contextual approaches, and digital technology to address the challenges of secular and materialistic values. Employing a library research method, this study analyzes literature from curriculum development theories, Islamic character education, and digital technology utilization. The findings indicate that enhancing teacher competencies through professional training and digital literacy, innovating teaching methods such as project-based and cooperative learning, and integrating character values through intracurricular, cocurricular, extracurricular, and religious habituation pathways can improve the effectiveness of PAI learning. Challenges such as limited facilities, teacher resistance, and negative social media influences can be addressed through collaborative strategies involving parents and communities, as well as leveraging educational technology. This curriculum supports the formation of individuals with noble character, relevant to the needs of the digital era, and aligned with national education goals. The study contributes to developing PAI strategies that are responsive to social and technological dynamics.
