Abstract

The balanced scorecard is a formal management technique for development, implementation and management of business strategy. It is difficult to ascertain the success of the technique as most of the literature on its implementation is put out by those with a vested interest in its success as a commercial product. Much has been written about barriers to strategy implementation but not specifically to the implementation of balanced scorecard. This paper presents a review of the factors that contributed to the successful implementation of strategy through implementation of balanced scorecard. While balanced scorecard methodology attempts to overcome some of the barriers to implementation of strategy, factors such as leadership, cultural readiness and organizational learning need to be addressed before any implementation of strategy.

Abstract

Managing the careers of civil servants is important to the strategic use of government management. This study investigates CA’s profile of the Pagar Alam City‘s civil servants. Three hundreds seventy six usable questionnaires are obtained. The data strongly suggest that the dominant CA held by the respondents is multiple CAs. The Service CA is ranked in the second which has to be the first as its functions. Then, three new CAs with their new items emerge as CA dimensions, that is life satisfaction, idealism, and managerial skill making their career decisions. These results reveal that current situation forces civil servants to climb various of careers to fulfill their needs. So, the government needs to be careful to provide career paths in order to match the government needs and the civil servant needs. The theoretical and practical implications, the limitations, and the recommendation are discussed in this study.

Abstract

KPR is one of bank product which offering Debitur to get credit for buying a house. KPR has a different way to calculating the interest from credit which debitur had. Bank can calculate the interest with flat rate and effective rate, also now the bank give the new choice with KPR Syariah, so we can say that the regular KPR as KPR konvensional. All of that have one purpose that increase the credit distribution at KPR and make more options for new debitur. In the simulation we can see together that every result from every way to calculate the interest have own good and bad. We also can conclusion at the last, that KPR syariah is similar with KPR Konvensional if using flat rate for the credit which debitur get.

Abstract

The phenomenon of job insecurity is not a new term in business organization environment. Job insecurity is the condition which the employees feel threated by uncertainty of sustainability in working at their organizations. Appearance of job insecurity will cause negative impact to employees physically and psychologically both in short term and long term. However, in fact, not all organizations aware about this significant effect of it toward employee specifically and organization generally. Then, what is the importance of managing job insecurity in employment relationship? This article aims to explain the effect of job insecurity in one organization and how the company should manage this situation, in an employment relationship context.

Abstract

This research examines the affects of job satisfaction toward organizational commitment which is mediated by organizational identification. The respondents of this research are 61 of 67 Maranatha Christian University’s teachers of Economy and Psychology Faculty. Validity, reliability, and fitness model examination are conducted before the hypotheses testing. Eight hypotheses are partially proposed that using linier reggression analysis. The results of this study show that five hypotheses are supported. In other word, intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction has positively affected toward organizational identification and affective organizational commitment, and organizational identification has positively affected toward affective organizational commitment. The implications of these findings were discussed and suggestions for the future research were advanced.

Abstract

Business world and economics have been knocked over by a waving drastic change. With new era appearance, information era, hence happened friction " first number position" in economics, what is initialy occupied by physical assets become to be shifted by nonphysical assets, that is asset of intangible. Asset of Intangible, especially in the form of intellectual capital represent answer of appearance waving new world. As a result, intellectual capital become one of the key factor determining efficacy of company. But, the mentioned at the same time represent challenge to company. Intellectual capital have to be processed as optimal as and as maximum so that can give impact and contribution which are positive to company itself in the effort so that company itself stand at bay emulation era which progressively tighten.

Abstract

This article discusses the impact of knowledge management to improve organizational competitiveness. As business enter knowledge-based economy era, organizations have to cope with challenges of technological sophistication and global competition, and the importance of knowledge as source of organizational competitive advantage. Employee began to experience work differently with a new array of rules, expectation, and condition of employment predicted on uncertainty and chaos. In order to respond these challenges, organizations as business performer require the role of high quality and competence human resource to response the development and changes of business environment. The implementation of management and investment in human resource as one of competitive advantage sources are crucial. It may be due to human resource is subject or performer in the enterprise operational activity that use and manage other resources. To create knowledge for individual and to get more benefit from knowledge, knowledge has to be managed through knowledge management. Knowledge management defined as the process of managing knowledge. In other words, t is a structured coordination for managing knowledge effectively. Through knowledge management, organization will be able to implement organizational and self learning and to manage professional intellect.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah : 1. terdapat perbedaan persepsi tentang sejumlah rintangan terhadap efektivitas Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia antara manajemen puncak, manajemen menengah dan pegawai bawahan; 2. rintangan-rintangan yang potensial berpengaruh terhadap keefektipan operasional Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia seperti yang dipersepsikan oleh manajer dan pegawai bawahan; 3. terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara Efektivitas Operasional Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia dengan kepuasan kerja; 4. terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara efektivitas operasional Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia dengan loyalitas pegawai; 5. terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara rintangan-rintangan potensial Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia dengan kepuasan kerja pegawai; 6. terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kepuasan kerja dengan loyalitas pegawaiMetode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dan korelasional yaitu memberikan gambaran atau deskripsi tentang keadaan variabel yang diamati dengan melalui perhitungan serta pengujian data untuk mencari hubungan antara variabelSedangkan hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: Nilai F = 0, 108 dengan sign atau p= 0,955. Karena p > 0,05 maka H0 gagal ditolak. Artinya Tidak terdapat perbedaan persepsi tentang sejumlah rintangan terhadap efektivitas Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia antara manajemen puncak, manajemen menengah dan pegawai bawahan.Nilai r = 0,335 dengan r2 = 0,1122 dengan probabilitas 0,003. Karena nilai p < 0,05 maka H0 tolak. Rintangan-rintangan yang potensial berpengaruh terhadap keefektipan operasional Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia seperti yang dipersepsikan oleh manajer dan pegawai bawahan. Sedangkan besarnya pengaruh rintangan-rintangan yang potensial terhadap keefektipan operasional Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia adalah 11,22%, sisanya dipengaruhi variable lain.; Nilai r = 0,251, p = 0,031, Karena p < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak. Kesimpulannya: Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara efektivitas operasional Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia dengan Kepuasan kerja pegawai dengan derajat hubungan rendah.; Nilai r = 0,274 dengan p = 0,018. Karena p < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak. Kesimpulannya: Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara Efektivitas Operasional Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia dengan Loyalitas pegawai dengan derajat hubungan rendah; Nilai r = 0,238 dengan p = 0041. karena p < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak. Kesimpulannya: Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara rintangan-rintangan potensial Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia dengan kepuasan kerja pegawai dengan derajat hubungan rendah; Nilai r = 0,685 dengan probabilitas = 0,000. Karena p < 0,05, maka H0 tolak. Jadi Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kepuasan kerja dengan loyalitas pegawai dengan derajat hubungan kuat.

Abstract

Orientation of business is not only making profit, but adding value to another. The relation between organization and human is a habitat to growing up human potential ability. Every people will fill different effect if changing is happen in their work place, the reaction from every people will different too, for example: resistance for new regulation or situation, worker always want to stay in the previous situation which make they comfortable. Empowerment for worker will make different situation, because worker will fill the attention from the management level. Learning for changing adaptation started from knowledge acquisition and insight, than habit and skill learning and emotional condition and learned anxiety.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh volume perdagangan, EPS dan PER terhadap harga saham sektor pertambangan pada periode 2000-2005 di Bursa Efek Jakarta.Sampel saham yang digunakan berasal dari sektor pertambangan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menetapkan kriteria tertentu (purposive sampling method) bahwa secara konsisten saham yang dipilih selalu masuk pada pemilihan saham penyusun indeks LQ45. Berdasarkan kriteria tersebut diperoleh tiga saham, yaitu saham PT Aneka Tambang, Tbk (ANTM), saham PT Medco Energi Internasional, Tbk. (MEDC), dan saham PT Timah, Tbk. (TINS).Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan model regresi berganda data pooling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan volume perdagangan berpengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap harga saham. Laba per lembar saham (EPS) dan rasio harga terhadap laba (PER) menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap harga saham. Secara simultan, ketiganya berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap harga saham.
