Abstract

This bibliometric review provides a comprehensive evaluation of assessment projects in English language education from 2013 to 2023. Utilizing data indexed by Google Scholar and analyzed through Publish or Perish, VOSviewer, and Microsoft Excel, the study encompassed 1000 articles to assess publication trends, research focuses, and methodological advancements within the field. The peak in publication activity in 2021 highlights a period of intensive scholarly interest, followed by a notable decline, suggesting a potential shift in research trajectories or saturation in certain topics. Key research areas, such as the efficacy of assessments, the integration of digital tools, and self-assessment methods, emerged as central themes. These focal points were vividly depicted through network and density visualizations, revealing a landscape marked by periods of concentrated activity and a diversity of researched topics. The study's findings underscore the responsiveness of the academic community to evolving educational practices and technological innovations. The culmination of the bibliometric analysis and text mining techniques provided nuanced insights into the evolution of English language assessment, spotlighting the necessity for continuous development in the field to address emerging challenges in educational assessment practices.

Abstract

This study aimed to design an educational curriculum that enhances physical adaptation to high-altitude environments by integrating principles of sustainable development in physical education. Using a descriptive method, the research surveyed college students and professionals to assess current training practices in high-altitude settings. Results indicated limited effectiveness in explosive power, flexibility, and endurance due to environmental challenges and inadequate structural support. Because adaptation to hypoxic conditions requires targeted strategies, findings emphasize the need for altitude-specific flexibility training and psychological preparation. The curriculum development is grounded in educational frameworks and aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to support student well-being and resilience. This approach provides a scientific basis for improving physical readiness and promoting long-term health and equity in high-altitude education.

Abstract

It is impossible to prevent diversity in the educational system because students come from a variety of racial, ethnic, religious, and other cultural backgrounds. As a means of fostering an inclusive and varied workplace, diversity management is gradually becoming more popular. Such approaches have a significant impact on organizational performance when they are applied effectively. The purpose of the survey design was to determine how much employee work attitudes, which are influenced by diversity management, affect organizational effectiveness. A conceptual literature review was reviewed to ascertain the connectivity between diversity management and human behavior. Ageism, aversion to change, and gender discrimination are the three main obstacles to workplace diversity according to empirical evidence. A person's behavior is a result of how they interact with their environment, according to the interactionist viewpoint. The idea of managing diversity acknowledges the advantages due to two factors brought about by successful diversity management increased cognitive flexibility and higher organizational flexibility in terms of processes, openness to new ideas, and ability to handle change. The study concluded that successfully managing diversity can lead to more committed, better satisfied, better performing employees and potentially better financial performance for an organization. It was recommended among others that periodic training on diversity and diversity management is required for all employees to know the importance of diversity in an organization.

Abstract

Today's Young Generation is often confused by the choices they have to make to enter college. With so many choices available, it can affect the choice of young people in making decisions to take the majors and campuses of their choice, as a result, many young people choose the wrong majors and end up unused by individuals, which wastes time and effort. As many as 87% of RI students feel they have the wrong major because many of them choose to follow their friends' and parents' reasons. Since many young people have this problem, the author researched to help young people in this position to think more effectively and make better decisions, namely with six thinking hats. "According to Dr. Edward De Bono, a psychologist, the six thinking hats method involves wearing six different colored hats, each representing a different way of thinking. With several "hats", the younger generation can see from 6 different perspectives. This six-thinking hats method can be an appropriate method to use in considering their choices. In this study, the author uses a one-group post-test experiment, which aims to help young people think about the right decision in overcoming the wrong major phenomenon.

Abstract

A significance test is a test that can determine whether a research hypothesis is accepted or not. Therefore, significance tests need to be carried out, especially for researchers who will conduct research related to hypothesis testing. This research discusses publication trends regarding significance tests. This research aims to analyze research trends regarding statistical significance tests using bibliometric analysis methods assisted by mapping analysis. Bibliometric analysis methods and mapping analysis with VOSviewer were used in this research. The data source was taken from the Google Scholar database in the period 2013 - 2023. The total number of documents found during the last 10 years was 1000 documents. Based on the research results, it was found that the number of publications regarding statistical significance tests has decreased every year. From a total of 281 documents in 2013 to 7 documents in 2023. The results of article data mapping produce three forms of visualization, namely network, overlay, and density visualization. The mapping results show that research on statistics still needs to be carried out, especially regarding significance tests. This research concluded that the trend of research discussing statistical significance tests is decreasing, although, in terms of its use, it is still very important, especially in processing quantitative research data.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of interactive teaching methods in enhancing student learning outcomes and classroom engagement. Specifically, it focuses on the use of strategies such as “Cluster,” “Brain Ring,” “Mind Wheel,” “Insert,” and “Role Playing” in a higher education setting. A quasi-experimental design was implemented involving 80 second-year students at a university in Tashkent, divided into control and experimental groups. While the control group received instruction through traditional lecture-based methods, the experimental group was taught using the aforementioned interactive techniques. Data were collected through assessments measuring knowledge retention, participation, creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork. The results showed that the experimental group outperformed the control group across all indicators. Among the methods applied, the “Cluster” technique stood out as particularly effective in stimulating idea organization, promoting active learning, and fostering group collaboration. These findings support the integration of interactive pedagogical strategies as a means to improve the quality and effectiveness of education. Ultimately, such methods contribute to the development of future-ready learners equipped with essential 21st-century skills.

Abstract

This study seeks to enhance the managerial readiness of future education professionals through structured pedagogical processes. An experiment with experimental and control groups was conducted, both receiving identical content but different teaching strategies. The developed model combined conceptual, technological, and reflective components, supported by digital tools and project-based learning. Results showed that students in the experimental group demonstrated stronger competence in planning and managing educational activities. This improvement stemmed from structured, goal-oriented experiences reinforced by formative evaluation. By integrating strategic management with pedagogical conditions, the model encouraged autonomy and reflective thinking. The findings emphasize the value of targeted pedagogical interventions in preparing competent education managers. Moreover, the study contributes to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in advancing quality education through innovative approaches to professional training.

Abstract

During the pandemic, online learning may be rampant, which is required by the government. Not a few students and teachers have difficulty using technology in this digital era, especially when collecting assignments. Therefore, we try to introduce the Google Classroom application with the aim of supporting online learning. With quantitative data collection methods, in the form of pre-test and post-test targeting elementary school students. The implementation of the training program is to provide videos in the form of material, so that students can observe, understand and practice it. Pretest results showed 95% and post-test 100%. From these results, students experienced an increase in learning. This is because students are given training before filling out the post-test. It can be concluded that, students agree about the existence of distance learning using Google Classroom. Because this application helps elementary students in collecting assignments.
