Jurnal Bersama Ilmu Pendidikan, yang disingkat sebagai DIDIK, adalah jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan empat kali dalam setahun, yaitu pada bulan Februari, Mei, Agustus, dan November, oleh Yayasan Literasi Sains Indonesia. Jurnal ini berfokus pada publikasi hasil penelitian, kajian teoretis, dan tinjauan konseptual dalam bidang pendidikan serta pengajaran di semua jenjang pendidikan. Lingkup topik yang diangkat mencakup berbagai isu yang relevan, mulai dari pendidikan dan pengajaran di sekolah dasar, sekolah menengah, hingga pendidikan tinggi. Selain itu, jurnal ini juga terbuka untuk penelitian pendidikan yang inovatif dan relevan, yang mendukung pengembangan ilmu di bidang pendidikan. Abstract

This article aims to provide a descriptive overview of the characteristics of the learning styles of out-of-school tutoring students, and how these characteristics contribute to educational success. The study was conducted using a descriptive-qualitative method with a case study approach on tutoring students in the city of Bandung. Data were collected through observation and interviews, then analyzed systematically. The results of the study indicate that tutoring students have diverse learning styles, with a dominance of auditory learning styles because learning in tutoring is often delivered orally. In addition, tutoring students tend to have high motivation, diverse academic backgrounds, and specific learning needs. The implication of this finding is the importance of a deep understanding of student learning characteristics by tutoring institutions and tutors. Thus, tutoring institutions can develop learning strategies that are inclusive, effective, and support the development of student potential holistically.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the behaviour of students in class VI of SD IT Al-Maqom in relation to the use of gadgets. Along with the rapid development of technology, the use of gadgets is now an important part of everyday life, including for students. This study used a quantitative approach with a direct regression method, involving 70 learners as samples. Data was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires that measured the influence of gadget use on learner behaviour. The results of the analysis show that the use of gadgets has a significant influence on learners' behaviour with an influence level of 76.3%. Although the impact of gadgets is considerable, this study also acknowledges the existence of other factors, such as environment, parenting style, and genetic factors, which also influence learners' behaviour, although these factors were not examined in depth in this study. In addition, habits, social interaction patterns, and the role of parents and teachers can also influence learners' gadget use. In conclusion, gadget use has a significant influence on learners' behaviour in class VI of Al-Maqom IT Elementary School.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the composition in the long lullaby story by Eka Kurniawan Pokus in terms of word and phrase structure and how the use of morphology contributes to the meaning and aesthetic effects in literary works. and utilize various morphological processes, such as affixation, conversion, and composition, to build a unique and distinctive language style. The factor used in this research is the form of composition in a long bedtime short story. Then the data collection factor uses several factors, namely recording factors and data analysis factors, of these two factors are distributional factors. The results of this research are in composition form. And there are two compositions, namely exocentric and endocentric composition. And the results of the analysis were collected in 23 data containing composition elements, 10 data were exocentric, and 13 data were endocentric. It is hoped that this research will provide a deeper understanding of the use of morphology in literary works, especially in long lullaby short stories. Apart from that, it is also hoped that this research can become reference material for further research on morphological analysis in Indonesian literary works.

Abstract

Music is one of the most commonly used forms of communication and is enjoyed by various segments of society. The emotions contained in music certainly have a significant impact on the physiological state of the listener, and even the hopes embedded in a piece of music can greatly influence a persons outlook on life. The research on the influence of the song “Satu Bulan” aims to demonstrate how music can change a person’s emotions and hopes. A total of 30 repondents, consisting of Management students from Universitas Nasional PASIM, participate in this experiment. The method used in this research was a pre-test to measure their emotions before listening to the song “Satu Bulan” followed by a post-test to assess their emotions after listening to the song. The pre-test results show that 22 people or 67% feel happy, 7 people or 20% feel sad, and 1 person or 3% feels angry. The post-test results show that 3 people or 9% still feel happy, 26 people or 88% have become sad or become sadder, and 1 person or 3% still feels angry or becomes angrier. The results of this study reveal that 91% of the 30 respondents experienced an emotional change, which indicates that the change towards sadness is high. Kata Kunci: Emosi, Musik, Harapan, Mahasiswa

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has a very important role in shaping the character and morals of students. Improving the quality of PAI teachers is a crucial issue in the context of education in Indonesia, considering the challenges faced by PAI teachers, such as less varied teaching methods and low student motivation. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the improvement of the quality of PAI teachers, including pedagogical competence, mastery of technology, professionalism, and strengthening the character and ethics of teachers. The results of the study indicate that good pedagogical competence allows teachers to design interesting and effective learning. The use of information and communication technology (ICT) also has a positive impact, increasing the appeal of materials and student involvement. In addition, improving teacher professionalism through ongoing training and strengthening the character of PAI teachers as role models in morals is also very important. Support from schools and government policies is needed to create a conducive environment for professional development teachers. With a comprehensive approach, it is hoped that the quality of Islamic religious education can improve, thus producing a young generation that has noble and competent morals.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the leadership style of school principals in implementing school management at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Ende. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. Qualitative research examines participant perspectives with interactive and flexible strategies. A case study is a method of in-depth and detailed research into a particular entity, phenomenon, or context. These entities can be individuals, groups, organizations, events, programs, or policies. The aim of this research is for researchers to understand the leadership style of the principal of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Ende in implementing school management. Education Management is a management process in carrying out educational tasks by utilizing all resources efficiently to achieve goals effectively. School management means optimizing resources regarding school empowerment which is the most appropriate alternative for creating a school that is independent and has high excellence. Principal leadership is the principal's ability and actions to influence, mobilize and direct the resources available in the school (teachers, staff, students, parents and the environment) to achieve the educational goals that have been set. It covers various aspects, from curriculum development to creating a positive school climate. Based on the research results, it was found that the MAN Ende principal implemented a good management system and ensured that the school administration ran smoothly and efficiently, starting from financial management, staffing, to inventory.

Abstract

The performance of teachers in carrying out their duties and responsibilities will have a big impact on achieving the goals of an educational institution. This goal will be achieved if work performance is influenced by the school principal's leadership style. The principal's leadership style greatly influences the behavior of his subordinates, but the behavior of the subordinates may not necessarily influence the behavior of his superiors. The principal's leadership style is a consistent pattern of behavior shown by the leader and known to other parties when the leader tries to influence the activities of others. The aim of the research is to determine the leadership style of the principal of the SMP Negeri 2 Ende education unit, including: (1) Discipline; (2) Commitment; (3) Abilities and (4) Teacher responsibilities. Qualitative approach with descriptive methods, data collection techniques were carried out using interview guidelines observation guidelines, and documentation studies. The research subjects were the principal, teachers and supervisors at SMP Negeri 2 Ende. The research results found: (1) The principal's leadership style in improving teacher discipline is a telling style, apart from the telling style, the principal also applies a situational style; (2) The principal's leadership style in increasing teacher commitment is a selling (consultative) style by directing teachers to complete their tasks. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression. The research results show that the principal's leadership style and the work motivation of education teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Ende together have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. The more appropriate the leadership style applied, the better the teachers' performance will be. Teacher performance can be improved when teachers have better work motivation.

Abstract

The principal, who is the highest official in the school's organizational structure, certainly has considerable influence in determining the direction of policies aimed at improving school competence in the classroom. The presence of the principal is very important because he functions as a motivating force for school resources, especially instructors, employees and students. A high quality   school is largely determined by the educational leadership carried out by the Principal. School principals must develop new programs as an innovation in managing the learning process in schools. This research aims to analyze the role of school principal leadership in improving the quality of education. This research uses qualitative research methods, the main techniques for collecting data are observation and in-depth interviews. The leadership role of school principals in improving the quality of education is very important and complex. School principals as educational leaders have the responsibility to coordinate efforts to improve quality learning in schools. The leadership of the principal at SMA Negeri 2 Ende has had a positive and significant impact on teacher performance, teacher motivation and student learning achievement. This increase in teacher performance, motivation and learning achievement has the potential to improve the quality of education in schools. Thus, effective leadership from the principal can create a productive school environment, which will ultimately influence the overall quality of education. This research shows the need for additional supervision programs to improve the quality of education and the performance of school principals in carrying out their duties.

Abstract

Early childhood education plays a crucial role in developing children's social skills, which serve as the foundation for their interactions and adaptation in social environments. One effective approach to enhancing social skills is the play-based approach. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the play-based approach in improving children's social skills at TK Islam Al-Fitriyah. This research employs a qualitative method with a field study design. Data collection techniques include observations, interviews with teachers and parents, and documentation of children's play activities. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings indicate that the play-based approach, particularly role-playing, group games, and educational games, is effective in enhancing children's social skills. Children become more capable of cooperating, communicating, sharing, and demonstrating empathy toward their peers. The study's findings affirm that a learning environment that supports play has a positive impact on children's social interactions. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the play-based approach is an appropriate strategy for improving young children's social skills. Recommendations are provided for educators to further optimize this method in the learning process.

Abstract

Early childhood independence is a crucial aspect of their development, especially in formal educational environments such as kindergartens. This study aims to analyze teachers' strategies in fostering children's independence through the Montessori method at TK Islam Al-Fitriyah Sukabumi. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive study design. Primary data were obtained through interviews with the principal and teachers, as well as direct observations. Meanwhile, secondary data were collected through document studies related to the implementation of the Montessori method in the school. The data analysis techniques used in this study include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that teachers' strategies in fostering children's independence include providing structured freedom, utilizing Montessori learning materials, and offering individualized guidance according to each child's needs. The findings reveal that the Montessori method is effective in enhancing children's independence, particularly in decision-making, motor skills, and self-discipline. The study concludes that the proper implementation of the Montessori method with appropriate strategies can help children become more independent in both learning activities and daily life.
