Abstract

The CC 205 locomotive at the UPT Locomotive Depot Divre IV Tanjung Karang is a train that uses diesel fuel. The locomotive at UPT Locomotive Depot Divre IV Tanjung Karang experienced compressor damage, which required component replacement. This research aims to identify and carry out the process of treating valve leaks in locomotive compressors. Observation, interview, and documentation are used to obtain appropriate data and results. Maintenance carried out on this locomotive is necessary so that the CC 205 locomotive can be used optimally without any doubt. Maintenance is an activity in maintaining existing facilities by carrying out repairs or replacements necessary to maintain the condition of these components so that they are always in maximum condition. The analysis results show that air leaks in the compressor caused by compressor valve leaks can cause the pressure in the main tank not to be filled.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas terkait pengendalian persediaan spare part pada PT. XYZ dengan menggunakan metode klasifikasi ABC dan dikombinasikan Sistem Q (continuous review). Metode pengamatan dilakukan secara langsung melalui proses observasi dan wawancara dengan pihak terkait untuk menentukan pokok permasalahan serta memperoleh data pengamatan. Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian akan diolah untuk menentukan kelas A, B, dan C pada spare part dengan metode klasifikasi ABC. Proses pengolahan data juga akan dilakukan guna menentukan pengendalian dengan metode continuous review atau sistem Q. Berdasarkan perhitungan data, didapatkan klasifikasi ABC dengan total 6 jenis spare part masuk dalam kelas A, 5 spare part termasuk dalam kelas B, dan sebanyak 13 spare part termasuk dalam kelas C. Hasil dari klasifikasi tersebut akan digunakan sebagai acuan prioritas pengendalian persediaan terutama dalam proses stock opname. Proses pengendalian persediaan dengan continuous review menghasilkan nilai safety stock, reorder point serta economic order quantity. Berdasarkan perhitungan diperoleh nilai safety stock dan reorder point terbesar pada spare part Bolt HexHead & Nut M20x50mml Grade 8.8 sebanyak 667 unit dan 883 unit. Untuk nilai EOQ terbesar dimiliki oleh Washer Spring HT M.20 sebesar 2.963 unit. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam kebijakan persediaan perusahaan dan diharapkan mampu mengatasi permasalahan terkait pengendalian persediaan spare part yang terdapat pada perusahaan.

Abstract

Renewable energy is the cleanest source available on the planet. Water energy is one of the renewable energy sources that are widely available around us. Hydropower is energy obtained from flowing water or falling water. One of the utilization of hydropower by using a waterwheel. Since the 18th century waterwheels have been widely used both for grain milling, textile industry, and other uses. In the 20th century waterwheels began to be used for power generation. However, due to its low efficiency, the waterwheel began to be abandoned as a power plant. There have been many studies conducted to improve the performance of waterwheels, but the information is widely spread, so this article was made with the aim of collecting this information so that it can be known what parameters affect the performance of a waterwheel. The design of the right overshot waterwheel can achieve an efficiency of about 85%, the undershot waterwheel can reach 25% making these two wheels suitable for exploiting from varied and most frequently used flows. The performance of the waterwheel is made based on water discharge data, head differences, and how to use it so that it can be said that the waterwheel has different performance characteristics so that certain parameters are needed. Parameters that affect the performance of the waterwheel include the design of the blades, the amount of water collected on the overshot mill blades, the ratio of the sinking blades on the undershot waterwheel, and the angle used on the breastshot mill blades so that the waterwheel can work optimally to release the potential of water power with a low head.

Abstract

Computer-aided engineering (CAE) enables engineers to virtually create, analyze, and simulate items prior to their physical production. When designing furniture, such as tables, it is essential to integrate beauty with durability in order to withstand the rigors of daily use. The inclusion of pressure simulation is crucial for guaranteeing the dependability of this product. The objective of this project is to utilize SolidWorks software and a CAE methodology to develop an ideal design for a living room table. Stress simulations are employed to examine the performance of the table under various load situations and detect any design flaws that require rectification. The simulation findings indicate that the teak wood living room table undergoes deformation as a result of pressure surpassing the material's strength threshold. Nevertheless, by providing support, the amount of distortion can be minimized. Replacing the wooden material of the living room table with Aluminum Alloy 6033-0 mitigates the occurrence of deformation effects.

Abstract

The increasingly rapid development of technology has led to the emergence of mobile commerce (m-commerce) as a new business phenomenon. Tokopedia and Shopee are m-commerce that are widely used by Indonesian people compared to other m-commerce. However, the Tokopedia and Shopee applications still have problems such as crashes, errors, buffering, bugs, an unfriendly and messy UI display, search features that are not suitable or working properly, unhelpful customer service, and other user complaints felt by users towards service quality. The existence of these complaints can create a gap between the services provided by the application and the services expected by users. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the quality of service on the Tokopedia and Shopee applications by measuring service quality using the M-S-QUAL method and identifying priority service attributes that require improvement using the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method. Research data was obtained from the results of questionnaires to 100 respondents who used Tokopedia and Shopee. Based on the calculation results, the Tokopedia and Shopee applications have a negative average gap value in all dimensions, meaning that the service quality of the Tokopedia and Shopee applications has not met the expectations of their users. Then, the results of the analysis using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) obtained 8 attributes on Tokopedia (EF2, EF3, EF5, EF7, EF8, SA3, SA4, and CON3) and 8 attributes on Shopee (EF5, EF7, EF8, SA3, SA4, COM3, CON2, and CON3) which are the main priorities for improvement. Thus, these attributes will be given recommendations for improvement to increase or improve the quality of the service.

Abstract

A park bench is one of the facilities that can be found in parks, and it serves the purpose of providing park users with a place to rest or socialize with one another. Consequently, a design that is created with the use of computer-aided design (CAD) is the requirement. Following that, a Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) stage is required. This stage is necessary since it assists in the execution of pressure simulations. Pressure simulation is essential in order to guarantee that the product is robust enough. This research was carried out to test the pressure strength of a park bench by applying pressure from the top of the bench with a minimum load of 1,233 Mpa and a maximum load of 1,246 Mpa, resulting in the surface of the bench experiencing different force pressures and the part of the bench surface that received the most significant pressure was the middle of the bench. The approach known as the Finite Difference Method was utilized in order to carry out modeling for three dimensions.

Abstract

Penyusunan Rencana Anggaran Biaya (RAB) dan melakukan perencanaan pelaksanaan proyek schedule serta cash flow sangat perlu untuk diperhatikan mengingat waktu dan biaya amat sangat penting dalam perencanaan maupun pelaksanaan proyek. Seperti contoh pada perhitungan fire alarm, paging sound system, CCTV, listrik penerangan, penangkal petir, ACS, kabel ladder tray, panel elektrikal, dan fighting fire. Dalam perhitungan estimasi ini memakai AHSP dan harga satuan pekerjaan kota JABODETABEK 2023.metode pengambilan ukuran yang umum dilakukan oleh seorang Quantity Surveyor (QS). Akan tetapi walaupun berbeda dalam mengambil ukuran hasilnya harus sama.Pada metode proyek Pembangunan K2 Data Centre Gedung Cikarang 2024 dengan 12 Item Pekerjaan dihasilkan RAB sejumlah 5.215.476.445,03 Rupiah dengan PPN 11% sebesar Rp. 516.849.017,08 dihasilkan Kurva S menghasilkan durasi pekerjaan selama 7 bulan Proyek K2 Data Centre Gedung Cikarang 2024. yaitu proyek Pembangunan Data Centre Gedung Cikarang yang berada di Cikarang Jawa Barat. Pada tahap ini akan melakukan perhitungan pekerjaan ME dilakukan dengan menggunakan gambar rencana pada autocad 2018 dan dihitung dengan microsoft excel. Pekerjaan ME yang dihitung yaitu fire alarm, sound system, springkler, CCTV, data dan telepon, Fire Fighing, panel elektrikal, kabel ladder dan kabel tray, listrik (penerangan), HVAC, penangkal petir.

Abstract

Permasalahan proses distribusi suatu produk masih sering terjadi di suatu perusahaan yang mendistribusikan produknya dengan skala besar. Permasalahan pada pendistribusian PT. XYZ disebabkan oleh tidak adanya rute optimal dikarenakan armada mengunjungi wilayah yang berbeda-beda yang dapat menyebabkan jarak, waktu dan biaya bahan bakar cukup besar. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini menggunakan Algoritma Genetika dengan software Matlab untuk merancang dan memodelkan proses distribusi telur dari gudang ke masing – masing agen di wilayah Lima Puluh Kota. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang dan memodelkan untuk menentukan rute distribusi serta menghitung penghematan biaya distribusi dan menunjukkan nilai utilitas kendaraan. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan dengan jarak terbaik pada armada 1 dengan titik pengantaran 1-23-19-11-13-6-12-8-16-21-25-26-24-1, dengan total jarak tempuh 99,35 Km dan armada 2 dengan titik pengantaran 1-2-20-4-14-9-18-7-10-17-15-22-3-5-1, dengan jarak tempuh 172,80 Km. Adapun penghematan bahan bakar kendaraan sebesar 30 % pada armada 1 dan 11 % pada armada 2.

Abstract

In the current era of regional autonomy, regional economic development should be conducted sustainably across all fields, sectors, and sub-sectors in a programmed manner. Sustainable regional economic development is influenced by comparative advantages, regional specialization, and the economic potential of a particular area. The primary objective of regional economic development is to enhance the well-being of the community through an increase in the quantity and variety of job opportunities. Empowering Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) is one way to boost employment opportunities, involving a significant workforce and identifying competitive sectors in the region to enhance regional economic development. Boyolali Regency has shown relatively good growth in SMEs; however, there is a lack of mapping for basic sectors within these SMEs. This absence may lead to suboptimal utilization of available labor and production outcomes. Therefore, this research aims to identify and map SMEs with the potential to absorb more labor in Boyolali Regency. The Location Quotient (LQ) method is utilized to identify basic and non-basic types of SMEs using labor data from SMEs in Boyolali Regency. LQ calculations demonstrate that each SME has various basic sectors. This analysis produces mapping data of basic SMEs that can be used as a reference for more targeted development in SMEs, leading to increased job absorption.

Abstract

Temperature is one of the parameters that is very influential in the process of making HDPE matrix composites. This study aims to determine the effect of variations in heating temperature on tensile strength and bending strength and to analyze the fracture structure of HDPE composites. The materials used in this study were HDPE plastic from used bottles, coconut fiber and Sansevieria fiber with a composite ratio of 90:5:5. The process of making HDPE composites is carried out using the hot press compression method. The pressure used is 30 bar for 30 minutes. The temperature variations used are 150ºC, 160ºC, 170ºC, 180ºC, and 190ºC. This study conducted two tests, namely tensile testing and bending testing using the Universal Testing Machine. The tensile testing process uses the ASTM D 3039 standard and obtains the highest results on specimens of 170ºC with a tensile strength value of 509.80 MPa. The value of tensile strength has increased and decreased. The bending test process was carried out according to the ASTM D 790 standard and the highest results were obtained on the 170ºC specimen with a value of 90.99 MPa.
