Abstract

Investigating and evaluating the effects of work discipline and motivation on employee performance at Karawang Regency's Department of Manpower and Transmigration is the aim of this study. The study was prompted by the urgent need to address the issue of low staff productivity. The methodology used is a descriptive research with a quantitative experimental approach. The saturation sampling technique, which uses the entire population as the sample, was used to select the 100 respondents in total. Data was collected by questionnaires, and the results were analyzed using descriptive interpretation and multiple linear regression tests in SPSS version 25. Based on the validity test results, 15 items for each variable motivation, work discipline, and employee performance were declared valid, and all items were found to be reliable. The data analysis results indicated that the significance values for motivation (X1) and work discipline (X2) were both 0.000. Since these values are less than 0.05, it can be concluded that both factors have a considerable effect on employee performance. These findings support the notion that more employee motivation and discipline translate into improved performance. With the best motivation and discipline, the Department of Manpower and Transmigration at Karawang Regency will be more productive.

Abstract

Employee performance in service companies in Indonesia is often hampered by less than optimal organisational culture and work motivation, which impacts on the productivity and competitiveness of the company. This study aims to explore the influence of organisational culture and work motivation on employee performance in service companies in Jakarta. The method used is a quantitative survey with a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach using AMOS, involving 120 respondents selected by purposive sampling. The results of the analysis show that organisational culture and work motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with work motivation having a more dominant influence. This finding strengthens human resource management theory regarding the importance of integrating organisational culture and motivation in improving performance. The practical implication of this study is the need to develop a holistic management strategy to strengthen organisational culture and increase work motivation to encourage optimal employee performance in the service sector. This research also opens up opportunities for further studies with a mixed methods approach and mediating variables to enrich the understanding of human resource dynamics in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of job satisfaction on employee turnover intention at PT Berkat Mandiri Expedisi using a descriptive quantitative method with a randomly selected sample of 104 employees. Simple linear regression analysis shows that job satisfaction has a significant influence on turnover intention, with a regression coefficient of -0.450, a significance value of 0.000, and a t-value of -5.294, which is smaller than -t-table (-1.659). Additionally, the standardized coefficient (Beta) of -0.350 indicates that job satisfaction contributes to reducing turnover intention. These findings confirm that the higher the job satisfaction, the lower the employees' intention to leave the company. Therefore, the company should focus on improving employee well-being, better reward systems, and a supportive work environment to reduce turnover rates. Further research is needed to explore other factors that also contribute to turnover intention, such as work pressure, career opportunities, and work-life balance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the source of supply, quantity of inventory, price, quality, and handling of chili inventory at vegetable traders in Pasar Baru Karawang. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with random sampling technique on three traders. The results of the study indicate that the main source of supply comes from Cikopo, Cibitung and Bandung, with daily orders via WhatsApp and cash or transfer payments. The amount of chili inventory fluctuates significantly, especially during the big day period, Mr. Edi's inventory increases to 50-60 kg when demand is high. Normal stock ranges from 30-40 kg per day. Mr. Deni increases his chili inventory to 70 kg when demand is high, with a normal stock of 20-40 kg per day, while Mr. Dendi's inventory increases to 230 kg when demand is high with a normal stock of 150-160 kg per day. Chili prices fluctuate due to weather and demand at certain moments such as Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, Christmas and New Year. The highest price fluctuation occurs in January with a peak price of IDR 120,000/kg due to the new year and high rainfall. While the lowest price occurred in November at Rp 20,000/kg due to declining consumer demand and poor chili quality due to high rainfall. Traders implement the FIFO system to maintain quality and implement safety stock and re-orders to avoid stock shortages . The conclusion shows that efficient inventory management is very important to deal with market fluctuations .

This problem has an impact on Indonesia so that there is a regulation on the replacement of auditors or KAP in auditing the company's financial statements. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of financial distress, audit delay, and audit quality on auditor switching. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative approach and the characteristics of the problem including comparative causal research. The research population of energy sector companies listed on the IDX for the 2018-2022 period is 75 companies. The sample used was 8 companies, so that the audited financial statement data was used as many as 40 data. However, there are outliers to produce better data, so the sample is processed as many as 38 data. The results stated that financial distress had no effect on switching auditors, audit delay variables had an effect on switching auditors and audit quality had no effect on switching auditors. Meanwhile, tests conducted simultaneously showed that all variables of financial distress, audit delay, and audit quality had a significant effect on auditor switching. Abstract

This research aims to understand the influence of financial literacy and digital literacy on decision-making in investing in crypto assets, with fear of missing out serving as a moderation variable among the Nakama DAO community. The method used is quantitative research with a survey approach. The research sample consisted of 366 members of the Nakama DAO community who were selected through a simple random sampling technique. Data was collected using questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out through a number of techniques, such as descriptive analysis, normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, determination coefficient test, t-test, and MRA test. The findings of this study show a positive influence between financial literacy and investment decisions in crypto assets, as evidenced by the t-value of the calculation (2.334) which is greater than the t table (1.971) and the significance value of 0.02 which is less than 0.05. It was also found that there was a positive influence between digital literacy and the decision to invest in crypto assets, with a t-count value (2.678) greater than the t-table (1.971) and a significance value of 0.008 which was also less than 0.05. Based on the results of the moderation regression analysis, fear of missing out does not play a moderator role in influencing the relationship between financial literacy and digital literacy and investment decisions in crypto assets. The results of this study are expected to contribute to future researchers in investigating the effects of financial literacy and digital literacy on crypto asset investment decisions with fear of missing out as a moderation variable.
