Abstract

Optimal performance of police personnel is a crucial prerequisite for delivering effective public services, particularly in the traffic sector, which directly impacts the community. In carrying out law enforcement and public service functions, police performance serves as a benchmark for institutional success in fostering public safety and order. The West Java Regional Police Traffic Directorate, as the frontline of traffic management in the province, is expected to have personnel who are not only professional but also responsive and highly committed. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of character competencies and the intensity of virtual item purchases on the financial management of PUBG Mobile players in Indonesia. Character competencies are studied through indicators of discipline, responsibility, investment, driving factors and self-control. Meanwhile, the purchase intensity of virtual items is measured based on the frequency of purchases, the number of items purchased, the level of satisfaction, the desire to buy, and the type of items purchased, such as skins, weapons, and clothing. A descriptive-verifiable approach was used in this study, with a structured questionnaire distributed to 61 active PUBG Mobile players who had purchased virtual items. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS 4 to evaluate the validity and reliability of the measurement model, as well as identify the relationships and significance between variables. The results showed that character competence and the intensity of purchasing virtual items significantly affected players' financial management practices. Players with a higher level of character skill tend to have good discipline and self-control, which allows them to manage the game budget more efficiently and not spend too much. In contrast, intensive purchasing behaviors are associated with increased awareness of financial limits, where players adjust their spending habits to balance in-game needs and real-life priorities. This research emphasizes how important character competencies are to encourage players to make wise financial decisions. The study also emphasizes how important it is for players to understand how their purchasing intensity is, which can help them make better financial planning

Abstract

This study aims to provide empirical insight into the interaction of financial factors, investment decisions, dividend policy, and profitability and their effects on firm value using the Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach. This quantitative study uses data from 150 manufacturing companies in West Java selected through stratified random sampling, with data collected through structured surveys and interviews with key decision makers. The results of the analysis show that investment decisions have a positive and significant effect on firm value, indicating that proper capital allocation can increase business value. Dividend policy shows a complex relationship with firm value, so a balanced dividend distribution strategy is needed. Profitability has a strong positive correlation with firm value, emphasizing the importance of maintaining profit sustainability. This research model is able to explain 65% of the variation in firm value, indicating the strength of the relationship between the variables analyzed. The practical implication of this study is the importance of financial strategy decision making in the manufacturing sector, especially in terms of investment and dividend policy. Companies are advised to implement a careful investment strategy, moderate dividend policy, and focus on profitability to increase market valuation. This study makes an original contribution by presenting empirical data from the under-researched manufacturing sector of West Java and presenting a comprehensive model that explains the key dynamics that determine firm value in the industry.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE) simultaneously on stock prices in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2023-2024. The data used is secondary data obtained from the financial statements of 47 banks, with a sample selection of 5 companies determined through purposive sampling method. The analysis was carried out with a quantitative approach and supported by SPSS version 25 software, through descriptive statistical testing, partial and simultaneous hypothesis testing, and regression model feasibility testing. The results show that both ROA and ROE have a positive and significant effect on stock prices, both individually and jointly. This finding confirms that profitability indicators have an important role in shaping investor perceptions and determining the market value of banking companies in Indonesia. Thus, the conclusions of this study support the utilization of a combination of these financial indicators as a basis for making investment decisions and corporate management strategies.
