Abstract

The incidence of stunting in Indonesia is quite high compared to other countries. Meanwhile, the prevalence of stunting data at the Geureudong Pase Health Center, North Aceh Regency, in 2023 is around 0.05% (North Aceh Health Office 2023). This study is a correlative descriptive research using a cross sectional approach. Data analysis using univariate was carried out descriptively to describe Maternal Age, Education, Occupation, and Income/month presented in the frequency distribution table. Bivariate analysis in this study used the Chi Square Correlation Test with α = 0.05. The results showed that 25 respondents (73.5%) had less and less knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding, a small proportion of 4 respondents (44.4%) had low knowledge in the category of lack of exclusive breastfeeding. Meanwhile, the results of the chi square test obtained a p-value of 0.003 (<0.05). Of the total 27 respondents with positive cultural values, 24 respondents (88.9%) provided exclusive breastfeeding with a low value, while only 3 respondents (11.1%) provided exclusive breastfeeding with good value. This shows that the majority of respondents with positive cultural values still have a lack of knowledge or practice in exclusive breastfeeding. Of the total 7 respondents with negative cultural values, only 1 respondent (14.3%) provided exclusive breastfeeding with a low value, while 6 respondents (85.7%) provided exclusive breastfeeding with a good value. A p-value of 0.000 indicates that there is a statistically significant relationship between cultural values and exclusive breastfeeding. A small P-value (less than 0.05) means that we can reject the zero hypothesis (no relationship) and accept an alternative hypothesis (there is a relationship). This study shows a significant relationship between cultural values and exclusive breastfeeding in the UPTD Region of the Geureudong Pase Health Center, North Aceh Regency.

Abstract

Automatic tissue processor is a tool used in pathological examinations. Processing complex tissue can be quite troublesome for operators if done manually, considering that the tissue processing stage requires precision and precise timing. To reduce time inaccuracies which can cause tissue sample results to be less than optimal, an Automatic Tissue Processor tool was created. However, the existing Automatic Tissue Processor tools are usually designed with a large shape so that reagent consumption during tissue processing is also large, this is an obstacle in some small anatomical pathology labs or small hospitals with few patients, besides that real-time temperature monitoring is rare. is in the tool so that the user often does not know what the real-time temperature is, causing control of the quality of the paraffin reagent to be difficult. Starting from this, using the research and development (RND) method, this research designed an automatic tissue processor with 4 Chambers, the last 1 Chamber being The paraffin Chamber is equipped with a Heater and temperature controller, using a DHT-22 temperature sensor. where the Chamber is made with a compact size so as to save on the use of reagents, the temperature in the Chamber is set at a cutoff temperature of 60o C. The research results show that the tool can work well for temperature sensor accuracy which is obtained at a value of 100% with an error rate of 0%, then for The Timer accuracy level was obtained at 99.57% with an error rate of 0.43%..

Abstract

Syphilis or lion king disease is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) caused by the bacteria Treponema pallidum. Syphilis can be transmitted through sexual intercourse, blood transfusions, and from mother to fetus. Serological tests for antibody detection include non-treponemal tests to screen and evaluate treatment as well as treponemal tests to confirm the diagnosis. Pregnant women are more susceptible to suffering from sexually transmitted infections (STIs) due to changes that occur during pregnancy, including changes in immune, hormonal and anatomical responses, which can change the clinical manifestations of STIs and cause problems in their diagnosis and implementation. Pregnancy affects the mother's defense mechanisms through suppressing the immune system. Genital infections that spread hematogenously and enter the fetal circulation will cause defects, stunted growth, and even cause the fetus to die in the womb. For this reason, pregnant women are advised to undergo screening and treatment as early as possible from the beginning of pregnancy so as to reduce the risk of pregnancy. According to the results of a survey at the Tanah Jambo Aye Community Health Center, North Aceh Regency, information was obtained that the number of pregnant women in 2024 will be 876 pregnant women and 35 boxes of rapid kits containing 25 rapid syphilis tests will be used. This study aims to see the description and level of awareness of pregnant women regarding the results of syphilis examinations at the Tanah Jambo Aye Community Health Center, North Aceh Regency
