Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors on financial performance, with financial constraints and financial slack serving as moderating variables. The study population consists of all energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2020–2024. The sample was determined using purposive sampling, resulting in 7 companies with a total of 35 observations. Data analysis was conducted using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with EViews software version 13. The results indicate that ESG has a positive effect on financial performance with a coefficient of 6.670 and a significance level of 0.034, financial constraints do not moderate the relationship between ESG and financial performance, as evidenced by a coefficient of -0.068 with a probability of 0.964. Conversely, financial slack was found to strengthen the effect of ESG on financial performance, with a coefficient of 3.029 and a significance level of 0.001. This study contributes to the development of ESG literature by incorporating financial condition as a moderating factor and provides practical implications for management in optimizing resources to support ESG implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the availability and distribution of educational facilities in Poso Regency in 2026. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed using secondary data collected through document analysis from official sources. The analysis was conducted based on the SNI 03-1733-2004 standard to compare the required number of educational facilities with existing availability across all subdistricts in Poso Regency. Population projection using the geometric method estimates that the school-age population will reach 223,190 in 2026, which serves as the basis for calculating facility needs. The results indicate that, overall, the availability of educational facilities in Poso Regency is relatively sufficient at the kindergarten, primary school, and junior high school levels, where the number of available facilities exceeds the calculated requirements. However, at the senior high school level, a deficit of 27 units was identified. In addition, the distribution of educational facilities remains uneven across subdistricts, as several areas still lack any senior high school facilities. This study contributes to educational planning by providing a data-driven assessment of facility adequacy based on school-age population needs. From a policy perspective, the findings highlight the need to prioritize the development and equitable provision of senior high school facilities, particularly in underserved subdistricts. Strategic efforts should focus on increasing the number of schools and improving the distribution of facilities to ensure more equitable access to education.

Abstract

Student satisfaction within technology-enhanced learning (TEL) environments is a pivotal factor influencing pedagogical effectiveness and higher education institutions' strategic positioning in a competitive landscape. However, critics highlight drawbacks, including dissatisfaction from the abrupt COVID-19 shift to online learning due to inadequate preparation, overburdened instructors, technostress, isolation in asynchronous courses, increased dropout rates, poor retention, and reputational damage. This systematic literature review synthesizes evidence from 64 peer-reviewed articles indexed in Scopus, published between 2020 and 2025 across multiple countries, to examine the key determinants of student satisfaction in TEL and their implications for institutional strategy and sustainability. The findings indicate that student satisfaction is a multifaceted construct shaped by pedagogical, technological, and support-related dimensions. These dimensions enhance learners’ perceptions and engagement, leading to improved retention, institutional reputation, enrollment outcomes, and overall competitiveness. The review also highlights the critical role of adaptive learning technologies and personalized instructional design in strengthening satisfaction. Furthermore, Institutions must strategically invest in robust TEL infrastructure and faculty development to optimize learning experiences and sustain long-term competitive advantage.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial performance on the value of companies in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Financial performance is an important indicator for investors and management in assessing a company's ability to generate profits, maintain liquidity, and manage its funding structure efficiently. A company's value reflects the market's perception of its outlook and sustainability, making it an important factor in investment decision-making. This study uses a quantitative, explanatory approach. The data used is secondary data obtained from the annual financial statements of manufacturing companies published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and from the companies' official sources. The research sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique based on specific criteria. Data analysis was carried out using panel data regression to test the influence of financial performance variables on the company's value. Financial performance variables are proxied by profitability, liquidity, and leverage ratios, while company value is proxied by Price-to-Book Value (PBV). The results of the research are expected to make theoretical contributions to the development of financial management studies, as well as practical contributions for investors, company management, and other stakeholders in understanding the factors that affect company value in the Indonesian capital market.

Abstract

This study analyzes the factors behind the high abstention (golput) rate in the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) of DKI Jakarta, focusing on North Jakarta. The abstention rate reached 47,07%, the highest in DKI Jakarta, indicating low political participation and raising concerns about the quality of local democracy. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collected through interviews and literature review. The analysis applies political participation theory. The findings show that abstention is influenced by socio-economic, psychological, rational, and technical factors. Psychological aspects, such as apathy and low trust in candidates, are the most dominant. Technical barriers, including limited access to polling stations, also contribute. Additionally, both active and passive abstention are identified, driven by political fatigue and ineffective electoral outreach. The study concludes that abstention is shaped not only by individual factors but also by structural conditions, highlighting the need for more effective strategies to increase political participation. Abstract

Bullying among students has become an increasingly complex educational problem in the digital age, as aggressive behavior is no longer limited to direct physical or verbal interaction but also occurs through online platforms. This study aims to examine the influence of legal awareness and the social/digital environment on students’ bullying behavior. A quantitative approach with a survey design was employed. The participants consisted of 30 senior high school and vocational high school students in Pamulang District, selected through random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire measuring three variables: legal awareness, social/digital environment, and bullying behavior. The data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics. The findings reveal that legal awareness has a significant effect on students’ bullying behavior, with a regression coefficient of 0.754 and a significance value of 0.000. In contrast, the social/digital environment does not have a significant partial effect, with a significance value of 0.434. Simultaneously, legal awareness and the social/digital environment significantly influence bullying behavior, as indicated by an F-value of 613.115 and a significance value of 0.000. The coefficient of determination shows an R Square value of 0.978, meaning that 97.8% of the variance in bullying behavior can be explained by the two independent variables. These findings imply that strengthening students’ legal awareness through civic education, legal literacy, digital ethics, and character education is essential for preventing bullying in schools. The study contributes to the development of school-based anti-bullying strategies by emphasizing the internalization of legal values, social responsibility, and ethical digital citizenship among students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the neutrality of the Acting Governor of Central Java, Nana Sudjana, in the 2024 Presidential Election by highlighting the relationship between bureaucracy and electoral political interests. The study employs a qualitative method using a case study approach through interviews, documentation, and literature review. The results indicate that, normatively, there was no violation of neutrality, as evidenced by the absence of findings or official rulings from election oversight bodies. However, empirically, there were indications of implicit non-neutrality, such as bureaucratic mobilization, patronage relationships, and the use of state resources that could potentially influence public political preferences. Furthermore, interview results indicate that the appointment of the Acting Governor, although legally valid, was not free from considerations of loyalty and the central government’s political agenda. The limitations of oversight institutions in addressing latent political practices further exacerbate the gap between norms and reality.

Abstract

The development of online lending services has provided easy access to financing for the public, but on the other hand, it has also created social, economic, and psychological problems in family life. In the household context, the husband's involvement in online lending can affect financial behavior, decision-making patterns, income stability, and relationships with family members. This phenomenon is important to study from the perspective of maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah, especially the aspects of hifz al-nafs (protection of the soul) and hifz al-‘aql (protection of the mind) because uncontrolled online lending practices can cause mental stress, anxiety, family conflict, and irrational financial decisions. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of informants who have direct experience or are relevant to the use of online loans in household life. The informant selection technique was carried out purposively by considering the husband's involvement in online lending and its impact on family financial behavior. The data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, then interpreted using the hifz al-nafs and hifz al-‘aql perspectives. The results of the study indicate that online loans have an impact on changes in husbands' financial behavior, such as increased consumer tendencies, weak financial planning, dependence on short-term debt, and reduced openness in family financial management. In addition, pressure due to debt collection, high interest rates, and the inability to pay installments cause psychological disorders, household conflicts, and a decrease in the quality of decision-making. From the hifz al-nafs perspective, these impacts indicate a threat to peace of mind, emotional security, and the sustainability of family life. Meanwhile, from the hifz al-‘aql perspective, unwise use of online loans can weaken the husband's rationality, prudence, and ability to make beneficial financial decisions.
