Abstract

Attendance is an activity used to measure a person's level of discipline in an organization or company. Currently, several companies or organizations are starting to implement manual work attendance systems inside and outside the office.  One example is that the author uses attendance at PT Pegadaian Kanwil I Medan for interns using Google Forms for activities inside and outside the office. This research method uses waterfall, the PHP programming language, and MySQL. The aim of this research is to build an information system for intern attendance at PT Pegadaian Kanwil I Medan effectively and efficiently using a web-based Global Positioning System (GPS). The results of this research can help and make it easier for interns at PT Pegadaian Kanwil I Medan to carry out attendance accurately and provide attendance report data for interns at PT Pegadaian Kanwil I Medan.

Abstract

One way to improve functional abilities in the elderly is with elderly exercise, because the benefits of elderly exercise for health are as a promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative effort. These benefits can be seen physically, psychologically and socially. The physical benefits of exercise for the elderly can stabilize blood pressure, increase body endurance and maintain ideal body weight, strengthen bones and muscles, increase body flexibility and improve fitness. This research aims to find out whether there is an influence of elderly exercise education on interest in participating in elderly exercise regarding the menopause period at the age of 45-59 years in Bandar Setia Village, Deli Serdang Regency in 2023. In this research the author uses quantitative research in the form of pre-experimental design. This research is a one-group pretest-posttest design. The number of samples in this research was 37 respondents using the Slovin formula and the research instrument used a questionnaire. The results of this research were obtained before the elderly exercise education was carried out, the majority of respondents had a low interest of 27 people (73%), and a moderate interest of 10 people (27%). After counseling on exercise for the elderly, the majority of respondents had moderate interest, 21 people (56.8%), and 16 people (43.2%) had high interest. The results of statistical tests using the Wilcoxon test obtained a P value of 0.000. Where the value of α = 0.05 from these results when compared to the value of P < α then Ha is accepted, namely that there is an influence of elderly exercise counseling on interest in participating in elderly exercise regarding the menopause period at the age of 45-59 years in Bandar Setia village, Deli Serdang district in 2023.

Abstract

The correspondence administration information system at the Orahili Huruna Village office is currently still done manually using books and pens. Where the Village operator will have the impact of errors in writing correspondence at the Orahili Huruna Village office, Onohazumba District, South Nias Regency. This web-based correspondence administration was created to make it easier for Village Operators to manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, by using a web-based correspondence administration application that has been created to integrate the performance of Village Operators effectively and efficiently. This application design was created using visual code programming with the PHP and MySQL programming languages. In this way, this application can simplify operator performance in managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the use of the iPusnas application as a reference source for final students of the Library and Information Science Study Program, Sari Mutiara University, Indonesia. The research method used is qualitative, with observation data collection techniques, interviews, and literature studies. The informants are 10 people. The results of the study show that the use of the iPusnas application as a reference source for final students is quite optimal and can meet the information needs of its users with features that facilitate and the availability of quite diverse collections about various scientific fields.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of service quality and discounts partially on customer satisfaction as well as the influence of service quality and discounts simultaneously on customer satisfaction. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study were Maxim customers in Medan City. The sample in this study consisted of 96 respondents using the Purpisive Sampling technique. The measurement scale used is the Likert Scale. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are Instrument Test, Classic Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Hypothesis Test and Determination Efficiency Test. The research results show that service quality has a partial effect on customer satisfaction, dikson has a partial effect on customer satisfaction and service quality and discounts have a simultaneous effect on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Play therapy is a good activity to deal with anxiety due to hospitalization so as to speed up the child's healing process. This study aims to determine the effect of playing plasticine on the level of anxiety due to hospitalization in children aged 3-6 years at RSUD DR RM Djoelham Binjai. This type of research is a quantitative research with a Quasi-Experimental method and uses a pretestposttest design with a control group. The sample in this study was 30 people, collecting data using a direct questionnaire. Sampling used the slovin formula technique, the normality test used the Shapiro-Wilk and data analysis used the paired t-test. The results of the normality test before being given education were 0.938 and Sig. .082 after education 0.897 and Sig. 0.007 which is normally distributed. The results of the study were obtained before being given plasticine play therapy, the level of severe anxiety was 15 children (50.0%). And after being given plasticine play therapy in children, the level of severe anxiety decreased to 6 children (20.0%). The results of the paired ttest obtained a significance value obtained from the calculation results, namely p value 0.023.

Abstract

In this research, it is explained that legal subjects must have legal land ownership in accordance with the actual situation. The issues to be discussed are the juridical analysis of land ownership as proven by a correct statement of compensation by the Medan Helvetia District, legal force in terms of letters issued by the sub-district office, and the legal impact on legal subjects that do not change the statement of compensation. loss by the District. In terms of discussion, the juridical analysis of land ownership as evidenced by a certificate of compensation statement by the Medan Helvetia District as a Temporary PPAT is to ensure correct land registration. Regarding the legal force in the case of a letter issued by the sub-district office which is valid because it takes into account the interests of the parties making the land sale and purchase and is accompanied by a receipt signed by the parties, regarding the legal impact on legal subjects that do not change or crosscheck the land certificate must be forcibly carry out crosschecks so that no one suffers losses.

Abstract

Elderly is a condition where every human being who has a long life will definitely pass through the elderly phase which occurs naturally. A person is said to be elderly if he is more than 60 years old and starts after retirement, because as he ages he experiences biological, physical, psychological and social changes. As age increases, all organ functions have reached their maximum peak, so what is happening now is a decline in organ function. Many elderly people in Indonesia experience nutritional deficiencies, with 31% experiencing undernutrition (BMI 16.5-18.49%) and 1.8% overnutrition. Malnutrition is often caused by social and economic problems and also due to disease, if calorie consumption is too low than required then body weight is less than normal. This research is a quantitative descriptive study which aims to determine the total BMI value and type of nutritional intake in the elderly. The research was carried out using measurements and observations carried out at one time only with the inclusion criteria being elderly people who could be communicated with. The research results were obtained from 18 samples experiencing malnutrition and 20 samples at risk of experiencing malnutrition, while for measuring the BMI of the elderly, the results obtained were 0=BMI <19; there were 10 people, value 1=BMI 19-21; there are 29 people, value 1=BMI 21-23: there are 6 people and value 3=BMI > 23; there are 5 people.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of interpersonal communication between children and parents on mathematics learning motivation of fifth grade students at state elementary school 060838 Medan in academic year of 2022/2023. This study is quantitative research. The population were fifth grade students. The sampling technique is total sampling, with a total of 20 students. The analytical method used is analyst prerequisite test, consisted of normality test, linearity test and the partial test (t-test). The Coefficients table shows that t-count value is 6.857 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05 and the t-table value is 1.729, with a significance of 0.05 and df = 20-1 = 19. Because sig 0.000 <0.05 and t-value 6.857 > t-table 1.729 then Ha is rejected and Ha is accepted. The correlation value is 0.850 and the coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.723. The Adjusted R Square value is 0.708 and the standard Error of Estimate is 5.753. So it can be concluded that the contribution of interpersonal communication between children and parents affect mathematics learning motivation of fifth grade students at state elementary school is 85% and the remaining 15% is influenced by other factors. So it can be concluded that interpersonal communication between children and parents is related to students' mathematics learning motivation.

Abstract

Impaired cognitive function is a deterioration of ability to remember and memory that can affect the elderly routine activities. Reminiscence is one method of expressing feelings that will trigger the emergence of self-confidence and feelings of respect of the elderly which has an impact on the emergence of positive coping that affects the perception and emotions of the elderly in facing a problem. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of reminiscence therapy on cognitive level of the elderly at Wisma Lansia Taman Bodhi Asri. The type of research is quasy experiment with pretest-postest research design with control group design in which only the intervented group was given treatment. The population of this study were 65 elderly people. The sample of this study were 39 elderly people. The Sampling Technique used purposive sampling technique. The Data from the results of the study used the Paired sample T test. The results showed that the elderly who got intervene by reminiscence therapy group increased significantly (P value = 0.000). This shows that Ho was rejected, which means that there was an effect of reminiscence therapy on the cognitive level of the elderly at Wisma Lansia Taman Bodhi Asri. While there was no change in the control group used an independent t test with (P value = 0.753). This therapy was recommended as one of the therapies that can be done in an effort to maintain cognitive levels in the elderly.
