Abstract

Administrative management has become more efficient with the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), automating repetitive tasks like data processing and document management. This reduces human workload and error rates. AI also supports decision-making by analyzing large datasets and identifying trends that inform strategic planning. However, challenges such as high investment costs, resistance to change, data privacy concerns, and algorithmic bias must be addressed for successful AI implementation, especially in modern office environments where AI is reshaping human roles. This study, Research on AI in Administrative Management: A Systematic Journal Review, uses a Systematic Journal Review methodology to examine both the benefits and challenges of AI integration in administrative tasks. Data was sourced from credible journals and analyzed using descriptive qualitative approaches and thematic synthesis to identify patterns, trends, and gaps in the literature. In conclusion, AI adoption is transforming office administration by enhancing automation and streamlining processes, resulting in cost savings, improved productivity, and timely document management. However, issues such as overreliance on technology, cyber threats, job displacement, and the erosion of human skills pose concerns. With proper planning and training, organizations can minimize these risks and fully leverage AI’s potential.

Abstract

Technological advancements in orthodontics, particularly aligner treatment, have made teeth straightening more convenient, attracting individuals with active lifestyles. The rise of dental tourism has led foreign patients to seek aligner treatment in Indonesia due to cost savings, quality care, and the opportunity to combine treatment with travel. This study employs a qualitative phenomenological approach to explore the push and pull factors influencing patient decisions, using in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis at a Bali dental clinic. Data were analyzed using NVivo 14, with verification techniques such as memsber checking, audit trails, and triangulation ensuring research validity. The word cloud analysis highlights key factors affecting foreign patients’ choices, including location, service quality, affordability, and digital promotions. Hierarchy charts reveal that perceptions of service, pre-treatment knowledge, treatment costs, and push-pull factors from home countries significantly impact decision-making, with affordability and positive experiences playing major roles. The project map emphasizes social media, particularly TikTok, as an essential marketing tool, alongside personalized care, flexible scheduling, and lower costs that attract patients from Australia, the UK, and Germany. Respondents highlighted the clarity of information provided by clinics, though some suggested improving English-language communication for better patient experiences. Indonesia’s combination of affordable pricing, high-quality service, and seamless patient experiences strengthens its position as a preferred destination for aligner treatment. As dental tourism continues to grow, optimizing marketing strategies and improving service quality will be crucial in maintaining Indonesia’s competitive edge in the global market.

Abstract

Employee performance is influenced by training, compensation, and work discipline; however, many organizations face challenges in managing these factors effectively. Objectives and Key Results (OKR) is a performance management methodology that helps set clear and measurable goals, but its implementation often encounters obstacles such as a lack of understanding and resistance to change. This study aims to review existing literature to understand how OKR can enhance employee performance and identify key success factors. The research employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to analyze the role of OKR in improving employee performance by collecting and filtering literature from various academic sources using strict selection criteria. The analysis is conducted through a thematic approach, the PRISMA method for literature selection, and validity and reliability evaluation by ensuring the credibility of sources and consistency in data analysis processes. The findings indicate that OKR is an effective management tool for enhancing employee and organizational performance, but its success requires careful planning and strong managerial support. The implementation of OKR must be aligned with organizational culture and strategy to ensure optimal outcomes. Further studies are needed to explore the impact of OKR on employee satisfaction and well-being in digital work environments. For successful implementation, companies must provide adequate training and socialization to foster a transparent and collaborative work culture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the General Allocation Fund and regional fiscal independence in the context of regional autonomy in Indonesia. The General Allocation Fund is the main transfer fund from the central government to regional governments, serving to support the equalization of fiscal capacity among regions. However, a high dependency on the General Allocation Fund may indicate low fiscal independence and weaken the regions’ motivation to optimize their Own-Source Revenue. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The results show that the General Allocation Fund is allocated based on the needs and fiscal capacity of each region using the principle of equity, so regions with large populations, vast areas, and geographical challenges receive larger allocations. Although regional autonomy grants the authority to manage finances independently and encourages the increase of Own-Source Revenue, most regions are still heavily dependent on transfers from the central government, with the contribution of Own-Source Revenue to total regional income still below 30 percent. This dependency hampers regional initiatives to develop local economic potential and leads to inconsistent development planning. Therefore, a balanced role between the central and regional governments is crucial to ensure equitable and sustainable national development. The General Allocation Fund should function as an instrument to encourage regions to enhance fiscal independence while ensuring effective use of funds through proper oversight, in order to reduce interregional disparities and support fair and sustainable development.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the dynamics of the relationship between the central and regional governments in the formulation and implementation of public policy in Indonesia. Within the context of regional autonomy, the relationship between these two levels of government often exhibits two contrasting sides: synergy and conflict. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research analyzes several strategic policies in the fields of education, health, and disaster management that illustrate patterns of interaction between governments. The findings show that the relationship between the central and regional governments in public policy implementation is dynamic, characterized by both synergy and potential conflict. Synergy arises when there is a clear division of authority, effective coordination, and sufficient human and institutional resources at the regional level. On the other hand, conflicts frequently occur due to regulatory inconsistencies, overlapping authorities, political affiliation differences, and high fiscal dependency on the central government. Factors such as public participation, transparency, and effective communication also significantly influence the quality of central-regional relations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Central Government in supervising Regional Governments in the context of regional autonomy implementation in Indonesia. Regional autonomy grants broader authority to local governments to manage their internal affairs; however, it remains within the framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), which necessitates oversight by the Central Government. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, employing a literature review approach and documentation of statutory regulations. The results show that the role of the central government in supervising regional governments is crucial to ensure that the implementation of regional autonomy aligns with the principles of a unitary state and does not deviate from national objectives. The central government has strategic functions in providing guidance, supervision, monitoring, evaluation, and revocation of regional policies that contradict public interests and legal regulations. However, the implementation of this supervision faces several complex challenges, such as a lack of coordination between central and regional governments, limited human resource capacity, weak transparency and accountability in regional financial management, and inadequate law enforcement and sanctions for violations. These challenges impact the effectiveness of supervision and open up opportunities for deviations and corrupt practices at the regional level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of business process automation as an innovative strategy in driving the modernization of business administration. Amid the rapid development of digital technology, organizations are required to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and speed in administrative management. Automation serves as a strategic solution to replace manual processes that tend to be slow and prone to errors. The research method used is a descriptive approach with qualitative analysis of the implementation of automation across various business sectors. Data were collected through interviews, literature studies, and observations of digital system-based administrative practices. The findings show that business process automation significantly contributes to the modernization of business administration by positively impacting operational efficiency, data accuracy, information-based decision-making, and customer service quality. Through the integration of Business Process Automation (BPA), companies are able to streamline various processes such as employee onboarding, purchase order management, contract management, marketing, and sales, thereby reducing reliance on manual processes that are susceptible to errors and delays. These findings reinforce that automation not only boosts productivity and reduces costs but also accelerates business responsiveness to market dynamics, enhances competitiveness, and strengthens the organizational foundation for long-term growth in a technology-driven business environment.
