Abstract

A site of land used as gas station has been filled to the ground level with the level of the road that passes near the station site. To hold the landfill, a 4000mm high retaining wall was built, but the construction of this wall was made without adequate planning resulting in damage in the form of collapse in several parts of the wall. The andesite stone material used is a textured stone that tends to be round with a smooth surface and is bound with a cement mortar that is too thick so that the bond is not strong enough. The damage of the wall has been identified and could lead to the collapse of the wall which could endanger people who pass near the wall. The proposed improvement is to partially dismantle the old wall and construct a new retaining wall built on the inside of the land along the old wall where the old retaining wall was dismantled. To ensure that the new wall has a strong bond with the old wall, at some point bonding reinforcement are installed between the old and new walls. The new wall is designed with sufficient attention to overturning, shearing, the bearing capacity of soil and overall stability, according to standard design. The andesite stone material used is crushed so that the surface texture of the stone is not slippery to ensure a better bond with the sand-cement mixture. The composition of the cement-sand mortar is made 1:4. To prevent groundwater from being trapped behind the wall, groundwater drainage channels have been designed at several points so that water that seeps into the soil layer can immediately spill out through these channels. This design recommendation was provided to the landowners and subsequently construction of additional strengthening wall has been carried out. In designing and analyzing this additional wall.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The team observed the condition of the walls, gathered information from building owners, combined the received information and finally conducted an engineering analysis. Based on this study, the best recommendation was obtained for the building owner to make an additional strengthening structure in the form of a combination of reinforced concrete column and beam with a cross section size of 300 x 300mm. The strengthening structure installed in the form of right triangles as high as the retaining wall. The strengthening structure located 1500mm apart. The strengthening column and beam are supported by two 300mm diameter drilled pile foundations tied together by 1500 x 300 x 300mm pile caps. The drilled pile foundation is buried to a depth of 600mm lying on above hard layer soil. Between strengthening structures that are 1500mm apart are tied with reinforced concrete beam with a 300 x 300mm cross section to unite the strengthening structure. In conducting this study of solving the continuing damage of retaining wall the lecturers and students discussed to find the most appropriate study for the solution to the existing retaining walls. Detailed calculations and drawings are carried out by students and lecturers giving suggestions and directions until conclusions are obtained and recommendations are made to building owners. Recommendations were submitted to the building owner and then implemented the Team's recommendations by constructing the strengthening structure, until finally the strengthening structures had been installed on the 8000 and 10000mm high retaining walls.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The presence of the Korean Pop industry or what is known as K-Pop does not only provide entertainment for the people, but also brings in coffers of income, especially for fans. As the Korean Wave (K-Pop fans) increases in society, more and more fans are competing to open business opportunities by selling K-Pop idol merch. There are those who sell official merch, there are also those who sell merch made by themselves such as tote bags, t-shirts, hoodies, stickers, and many more. Even though K-Pop fans are potential land for the K-Pop merch business, in fact there are still many fandompreneurs (fans who own K-Pop merch businesses) who have difficulty selling merch. Therefore the PKM Fikom Untar Team is trying to help provide creative communication training for Fandompreneurs to utilize social media as a media for promotion or sales. The team plans to provide assistance with the theme of Social Media Utilization Training as a means of promoting sales of K-Pop Merch for Fandompreneurs in West Jakarta. This activity also collaborates with digital media practitioners and consultants in providing assistance. As a result of these mentoring activities, Soul Project began creating content with various communication mixes such as Instagram, TikTok and the Website to expand product information and marketing.

Abstract

Jakarta consists of various unique cultures from various people from various regions. However, as with other regions that have local culture, Betawi is the culture of Jakarta's original ethnicity. However, in reality, Betawi culture and arts are increasingly being displaced by city culture and international culture which are more loved by its diverse population, especially Millennials. To introduce Betawi culture and arts which are rich and have their own charm, practical efforts are taken, one of which is through optimizing city visuals with mural media. Betawi, especially for the people around the Tomang sub-district and the general public who are active around the mural location. Betawi cultural elements such as ondel-ondel, tari topeng, tanjidor, pencak silat, kerak telor, and other Betawi cultural decorative ornaments will be collaborated harmoniously in the mural sketches that will be applied. The result of this mural PKM activity is a research paper regarding the role of a cultural-themed mural application in increasing public appreciation of Jakarta Arts and Intellectual Property Rights in the design concept implemented on the ex-mayor wall panels of West Jakarta.

Abstract

ICT Watch as a community organization that focuses on collaborative building the capacity of Indonesian human resources for digital literacy knowledge and skills, online expression and cyber governance, has started its movement since 2002. ICT Watch works together with academics from LSPR Jakarta, Center for ASEAN Autism Research, UMN, Code Margonda, and KREAVI have developed a mobile application called VICARA (Visually Interactive Communication and Reading Aid) for autistic children. However, because there was no update, the application was taken down from the Apple Store and Google Play Store. Based on the evaluation results that have been carried out on the use of the VICARA application, ICT Watch intends to redesign and add updates and features to the VICARA application. The solution offered is the development of a user interface (UI) design for the VICARA application.

Abstract

Jastip or entrusted services is a new business opportunity that is capitalized on technology, by using a smartphone, internet quota and relying on photo shots, a turnover of up to millions or even hundreds of millions of rupiah can be generated. Apart from not requiring large capital, this business opportunity is also easy to run even by a student. Jastip's activities have now been transformed from previously only social and cultural affairs into a profitable business opportunity. According to the tax perspective, Jastip's activities are divided into two, namely Direct Selling and Personal Shopper. Direct Selling is a direct selling method. The process of selling ordered goods entrusted by the buyer to the jastip seller by taking advantage of the difference between the purchase price and the selling price. Personal Shopper is the process of selling ordered goods that are entrusted by the buyer to the jastip seller by taking advantage of the fee agreed upon by both parties. In contrast to personal shoppers who shop according to the order of the customer, direct selling provides certain stocks of goods that are considered highly sought after/ hype for sale in the Indonesian market. The tax obligations of the jastip business are in the form of registering, calculating, depositing, and reporting taxes.

Abstract

Depok City as one of the supporting cities for the Special Capital Region of Jakarta faces problems related to waste and water resource management. Regulations have been regulated through regional regulations, but in practice, unconscious behaviour towards environmental hygiene is still found. To support sustainable development, it must be based on public awareness, so it is necessary to socialize the use of clean water to foster water awareness among children. An activity was carried out with RA Taufiqurrahman in Beji Timur Depok to introduce ways to protect and utilize clean water. Starting on November 30, it will be continued on December 6, 2022, involving 35 children, three accompanying teachers and the school principal. This topic is in line with the commemoration of World Handwashing with Soap Day proclaimed by the World Health Organization every October 15th. There are five aspects that are socialized to children including: the benefits of clean water, the characteristics of clean water, sources of clean water, types of water pollution and how to maintain clean water. Followed by the practice of washing hands with soap and ending with hand washing greetings. The evaluation results show that there is an understanding of water awareness so that the support of teachers and parents can help children carry out this habit. Sustainability and stakeholder support can shape the character of Indonesian children who care about the environment so that later they will contribute to supporting the sustainable development of Depok City.

Abstract

School students may experience problems related to academic or non academic. As a candidate for Bachelor of Buddhist Religious Education Graduate who can later work as a teacher in a school, they can be faced with troubled students who need help in order to study well. Counseling techniques are interventions that can be given to school students who have these problems. Guest lecture was given to 5th semester students studying in the Counseling and Psychotherapy course in Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Agama Buddha (STIAB) Jinarakkhita Lampung on December 6, 2022. The activity was carried out online via Zoom application at 1-3.30 pm where 33 students and 2 lecturers were present. The presentation of the material given to students focuses on application, important aspects, and practical experience of the presenter regarding the use of counseling and psychotherapy. Students fill out the pretest form before the presentation was given and students fill out the posttest form after the material presentation and question answer were carried out. The pretest and posttest form were filled in using Google Form. Based on the evaluation results from pretest and posttest, it seems that the students are able to differentiate between counseling and psychotherapy techniques, understand the important things needed to do counseling, and the attitudes that need to be trained in order to become good counselors.

Abstract

Self-concept is an important term related to the way a person views all aspects of one's own life (physical, cognitive, socio-emotional, and academic aspects. Many children still do not have a positive self-concept due to the influence of a bad family environment, the result is they find it difficult to develop and actualize themselves well in the future.On this basis, community service (PKM) aims to grow and develop the self-concept of pre-school children through singing activities.PKM activities involve kindergarten students Al Hidayah, South Jakarta, using a one group pre-test – post test experimental approach Singing activities using songs specifically designed for the development of self-concept in pre-school children Collecting data using a self-concept questionnaire and given before ( pre-test) and after giving singing activities for 6 meetings (Post-test).Data analysis used the mean test. The results found that singing activities are effective for developing self-concept in pre-school children. Previously, they thought of themselves as children who were ugly, stupid, insecure and lazy. However, after the post-test, they considered themselves as children who were able-bodied, smart, sociable, and diligent. ABSTRAK Konsep diri merupakan istilah penting yang terkait dengan cara seseorang memandang terhadap seluruh aspek kehidupan diri-sendiri (aspek fisik, kognitif, sosio-emosional, dan akademik. Banyak anak yang masih belum memiliki konsep diri yang positif karena pengaruh lingkungan keluarga yang tidak baik, akibatnya mereka sulit utuk mengembangkan dan mengaktualisasikan diri dengan baik di masa depan. Atas dasar tersebut, maka pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) bertujuan untuk menumbuh-kembangkan konsep diri anak-anak pra-sekolah melalui kegiatan menyanyi. Kegiatan PKM melibatkan anak-anak siswa TK Al Hidayah Jakarta Selatan, dengan menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen one group pre-test – post test. Kegiatan menyanyi dengan menggunakan lagu-lagu yang dirancang khusus untuk pengembangan konsep diri pada anak-anak pra-sekolah.  Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner konsep diri dan diberikan sebelum (pre-test) dan sesudah pemberian kegiatan menyanyi sebanyak 6 kali pertemuan (Post-test). Analisis data dengan menggunakan uji rerata. Hasilnya ditemukan bahwa kegiatan menyanyi efektif untuk menumbuh-kembangkan konsep diri pada anak-anak pra-sekolah. Sebelumnya, mereka menganggap diri sebagai anak yang bertubuh jelek, bodoh, minder bergaul dan malas. Namun setelah post-test, mereka menganggap diri sebagai anak yang berbadan sehat, pintar, pintar bergaul, dan rajin.

Abstract

The direction of the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Education and Culture for the younger generation starting at the elementary, junior high and high school levels are already tax literate by creating a tax-aware and intelligent generation to understand the importance of the role of taxes in Indonesia as a source of state revenue apart from the oil and gas sector for the welfare of the people. PKM is intended to help Partners understand the science of taxation, which is part of Accounting Economics. In Indonesia, the central tax which is managed centrally by the Ministry of Finance through the DGT, consists of Income Tax, Value Added Tax, Land and Building Tax, Stamp Duty, and Sales Tax on Luxury Goods. PKM uses primary and secondary data, where primary data is obtained directly from Partners, such as data from interviews with school principals and teachers as well as data in the form of information to what extent students understand taxes. PKM utilizes secondary data from journal articles, internet news sources, and books to support PKM. The results of PKM PKM activities have been carried out on Friday 12 May 2023 at 10.00 WIB until finished, offline by visiting schools with students as part of PKM. The outputs of PKM activities are presentations in national seminars as speakers, and articles uploaded by PINTAR as additional output.
