Abstract

Low back pain includes various types of pain such as nociceptive, neuropathic, and neoplastic, which are often interrelated. The various elements that make up the lumbar spine, such as soft tissues, vertebrae, zygapophyseal and sacroiliac joints, intervertebral discs, and neurovascular structures, can experience different stresses. Each of these elements, either individually or together, can contribute to the onset of low back pain. This study aims to determine the effect of a combination of Kinesio tapping and stretching exercises on changes in flexibility in patients with low back pain at Koesnadi Bondowoso Hospital. This research is quasi-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design. This study was conducted at Koesnadi Bondowoso Hospital from June to July 2024. The study population was all patients with low back pain with decreased flexibility at Koesnadi Bondowoso Hospital. The study sample was patients with low back pain with decreased flexibility at Koesnadi Bondowoso Hospital who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria totaling 32 samples. Primary data were collected through direct interviews followed by examination. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon test. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that there is an effect of Kinesio Tapping and Stretching Exercise on Changes in Flexibility in Low Back Pain Patients at Koesnadi Bondowoso Hospital. Abstract

The study aimed to develop an innovative line layout model to enhance student involvement and motivation in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) classes. Utilizing the ADDIE model—Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation—the research included field and literature studies to assess current layout strategies in PJOK sessions, identifying that a lack of variety in layout contributes to low engagement. This developmental research focused on creating a row layout model specifically for PJOK conducted outdoors, prioritizing active learning and student interaction. At the analysis stage, interviews and observations at SMAN 4 Malang revealed a demand for engaging, adaptable layouts. The design phase involved creating materials and visual aids to support various layout models that promote physical activity, collaboration, and effective teacher supervision. Experts validated the product on aspects of accuracy, convenience, appeal, and feasibility, achieving a high validity index of 0.92. Results indicate that the layout model is both practical and potentially effective for increasing student motivation and participation, though further application research is necessary to evaluate its direct impact on PJOK learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of squat jump and jump-to-box training on the long jump ability without starting in athletes at the Bintang Teen athletics club, Tanah Pinem sub-district, Dairi district in 2023. There is a problem among athletes at the Bintang Teen Athletics Club who lack long jump results, training methods and performance in athletes. This research was conducted on Jalan Pendidikan, Tanah Pinem District, Dairi Regency with a population of 13 people and a sample of 10 people. The method used in this research is quantitative, experimental-based with a pre-test (pre-test) and research instruments by testing the athlete’s jump results measuring them and then recording them. There are two training programs where both forms of training are designed to improve long jump ability in athletics. The benefit of this research is to provide information about the importance of squat jump and jump-to-box training to improve long jump ability. Then the samples were given treatment in the form of a training program with variations of passing exercises. With a training program prepared, then after 6 weeks of undergoing the training program, the sample takes a final test (post-test). The pre-test and final test were taken using the long jump test instrument without a prefix, Rama Setya 2022. Data analysis technique or hypothesis analysis, namely, the effect of squat jump and jump-to-box training on the long jump ability of athletes at the Bintang Teen athletic club, Tanah Pinem District, Dairi Regency, the Year 2023, it is obtained that tcount = 10.19 > ttable = 2.26 at the real level α = 0.05 then tcount > ttable. Based on the hypothesis testing criteria, namely H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, this research states that “there is a significant training effect from the squat jump and jump to box training on long jump ability without starting in athletes at the Bintang Teen athletic club, Tanah Pinem sub-district, Dairi district in 2023 ”.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of two physical conditioning factors, flexibility and agility, to the dribbling ability of football players at CIP FC Karawang. A correlational method was employed, with a sample of 25 players. Data collection was conducted through a series of tests: the sit and reach test to measure flexibility, the dodging run test to assess agility, and a dribbling test to evaluate players' dribbling skills. The correlation analysis indicated that flexibility had a correlation coefficient of 0.348 with dribbling ability and a significance level of 0.089. Although a positive relationship was found, this significance level exceeds 0.05, meaning the correlation between flexibility and dribbling is not statistically significant. Conversely, agility showed a very strong correlation with dribbling, with a correlation coefficient of 0.909 and a significance level of < 0.001, indicating a highly significant relationship. The coefficient of determination revealed that flexibility accounted for only about 12.10% of the variation in dribbling ability, whereas agility accounted for up to 82.63% of the variation. When combined, flexibility and agility explained approximately 84.1% of the variation in dribbling ability. In conclusion, agility has a significantly greater and more impactful contribution to dribbling ability than flexibility. Therefore, to enhance players' dribbling skills, training should primarily focus on improving agility, while flexibility can be maintained as a supportive factor to prevent injuries and aid player mobility. This study is expected to serve as a reference for coaches and players in developing effective training programs to improve dribbling skills.
