Abstract

The effectiveness of government administration is very dependent on the government official leadership quality. Therefore, leaders in government organizations must have high qualifications, competencies and performance in order to achieve organizational goals. Implementation of the New Pattern of Diklatpim IV Policy is expected to increase the Supervisory Official Leadership Competence. This study aims to determine how much influence the implementation of the New Pattern Diklatpim IV policy on leadership competencies of supervisory officials in the Gorontalo Provincial Government. The research method uses quantitative design with an explanatory survey method. Data collection uses questionnaire techniques distributed to 84 respondents by stratified random sampling from 520 of population. Data analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS) was processed using SmartPLS 3.1 software to test the measurement model and find out the significance of the influence of the New Pattern of Diklatpim IV Policy Implementation on Supervisory Leadership Competencies. The results showed that the Implementation of the New Pattern of Diklatpim IV Policy on Supervisory Officials Leadership Competencies had a significant effect.

Abstract

Bentor is a means of transportation that has the ability to reach all areas of the city / countryside, travel time and operation, and affordable cost by the community, but the presence of bentor in Makassar, which is now starting to cause overlapping routes between different types of public transport motors. Lack of regulation in the enforcement of Law No. 22 of 2009 About Traffic and Road Transportation and the Mayor of Makassar Regulation number 22 of 2012 concerning the operational control bentor vehicles, is expected to be in control of the main road transport user motor tricycles.

Abstract

This study aims to further explain the effect of Charisma and Psychological Capital (PsyCap) on Credibility among start-up entrepreneurs in Makassar City. Participants in this study were employees who worked in various Small and Medium Business Units with minimum age of 17 years. There were 132 participants involved in this study (58% female and 42% male). Using the Hierarchical Regression technique, this study found that all regression models significantly predicted the entrepreneurs’ Credibility with p value ranged from 0.01 to 0.001. Charisma could explain 31% of Credibility while together Charisma and PsyCap explained 40% of Credibility. The models showed that Charisma (β= 0.27, p< 0.01) and PsyCap (β= 0.41, p< 0.001) acted as significant predictors for the start-up entrepreneurs’ credibility. This study confirmed the previous theories and evidence regarding the effect of Charisma and PsyCap on Credibility. Both Charisma and PsyCap contributed significant effect on the start-up entrepreneurs’ credibility.

Abstract

Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Strategi Media Relations Humas Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) Provinsi NTT dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Pelayanan Keluarga Berencana (KB). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif ini membahas secara mendalam untuk lebih mengetahui fenomena-fenomena seperti opini, keinginan, perasaan, dan perilaku relasi media tentang strategi dan kegiatan media relation  yang dijalankan oleh BKKBN. Ruang lingkup dalam penelitian adalah pada Bagian Humas Kantor Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) Provinsi NTT yang memberikan layanan kepada masyarakat. Teknik pengumpulan data yang  digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalahWawancara, observasi dan studi documenter. Sedangkan Teknika analisis data yang digunakan adalah Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif.  Hasil Penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu Kualitas pelayanan melalui strategi media relations di Humas BKKBN Provinsi NTT di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelayanan melalui strategi media relations di Humas BKKBN Provinsi NTT sudah berjalan dengan baik karena:  a) adanya ketepatan waktu dalam memberikan informasi; b) memberikan informasi atau berita kepada media massa di dalam menangani permasalahan atau isu-isu yang timbul di masyarakat serta kemauan untuk membantu pelanggan dan memberikan jasa dengan cepat; c) menimbulkan kepercayaan dan keyakinan, yang merupakan kemampuan Humas dalam menciptakan rasa rasa percaya masyarakat kepada BKKBN NTT antara lain komunikasi, kredibilitas, keamanan, kompetensi dan sopan santun; d) memberikan informasi lewat media atau publikasi dan melakukan event-event kepada masyarakat yang berkaitan dengan pengetahuan, kebutuhan masyarakat secara spesifik; dan e) menampilkan fasilitas fisik, peralatan atau teknologi dan penampilan pegawai pada Kantor Badan Koordinasi dan Keluarga Berencana (BKKBN) NTT. Kata Kunci: Kualitas Pelayanan, Strategi Humas, Media Relations

Abstract

The quality of labor is a major factor in the supply of human resources. This study aims to find out the efforts made to improve the quality of the workforce at the Manpower Office in Makassar City. The research approach used uses qualitative research. Research informants are people who obtain employment services at the Manpower Office. Data collection is done through interviews, observations and data collection in the field. The data analysis technique uses interactive models such as: data reduction, data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that there are still various shortcomings such as the analysis of the needs of employees with special expertise and training systems that still do not meet expectations. Furthermore, inventory of office facilities and infrastructure that are less well maintained.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Gambaran persepsi pengawai mengenai pemberian tunjangan kinerja pada BAUK Universitas Negeri Makassar; 2) Gambaran kinerja pegawai pada BAUK Universitas Negeri Makassar 3) Pengaruh tunjangan kinerja terhadap kinerja pegawai BAUK Universitas Negeri Makassar. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Variabel dalam penelitian ini yaitu pemberian tunjangan kinerja sebagai variabel bebas dan kinerja pegawai sebagai variabel terikat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 107 dengan sampel sebanyak 50% (54 orang) yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik proportinale random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu teknik angket observasi dan teknik dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh melalui instrument angket, dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial setelah diuji persyaratan analisis.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Persepsi pegawai mengenai pemberian tunjangan kinerja termasuk sangat tinggi; 2) Kinerja pegawai termasuk kategori sangat tinggi; 3) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pemberian tunjangan kinerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. Oleh karena itu disarankan kepada pimpinan pada BAUK Universitas Negeri Makassar, kiranya berupaya mempertahankan kinerjanya dan bahkan lebih ditingkatkan. Kata kunci: Tunjangan Kinerja, Kinerja Pegawai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kantor SAR Kelas A Biak dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana fungsi manajemen logistik dalam menunjang kegiatan operasi pencarian dan pertolongan pada kantor Search And Rescue (SAR) kelas A Biak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitikan ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan interpretatif dimana penelitian dilakukan sejak pengumpulan data dimulai. Dengan jumlah 10 informan. Dimana informan yang terpilih mempunyai kriteria permasalahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, penerapan manajemen logistik sudah berjalan dengan baik, manajemen logistik yang baik sangat diperlukan untuk menunjang kegiatan operasi pencarian dan pertolongan. Pengelolaan logistik yang sesuai dengan standart operasional prosedur/prosedur kerja yang berlaku akan mempermudah setiap aktifitas operasional yang akan diklakukan. Upaya-upaya peningkatan manajemen logistik masih perlu dilakukan demi terciptanya manajemen yang handal, efektif dan efisien dalam menunjang setiap kegiatan operasi pencarian dan pertolongan di Kantor Search and Rescue (SAR) Kelas A Biak. Kata Kunci: SAR, Manajemen Logistik

Abstract

This associative-causal study aimed determine the effect of company size, operating profit/loss, and reputation of the Public Accountant Firm (Kantor Akuntan Publik/KAP) auditor on audit delay, simultaneously and partially; and which of both variables dominantly affect audit delay of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The research population was all banking companies listed on the IDX, while the samples were 30 banking companies taken by purposive sampling technique. Data collection was done by documentation techniques. Data analysis was carried out by: (1) data test (classic assumption test), and (2) hypothesis test, including: multiple linear regression analysis, F test, and t test. The results showed: (1) company size, operating profit/loss, and reputation of KAP auditor simultaneously affect audit delay, (2) company size had a negative effect on audit delay, thus the larger size of the company would need shorter time on audit delay; the profit/loss of the company had a positive effect audit delay, thus when the company was profit would need longer time on audit delay; reputation of KAP auditor had no effects on audit delay, thus Big Four KAP and non Big Four KAP carried our audit need the same period time; (3) company size had a dominant effect on audit delay, thus the auditors carried out audit dominantly affected by company size.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksud untuk mengkaji implementasi kebijakan Program Makassar Tidak Rantasa (MTR). Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dan yang menjadi informan yaitu Walikota Makassar, Sekretaris Daerah Kota Makassar, Seksi Penyuluhan dan Pembinaan Teknik, Koordinator Kebersihan Kecamatan Tamalate, Kasubid Evaluasi PSDA dan Lingkungan Hidup, Koordinator Bank Sampah, Lurah Manuruki, Lurah Maccini Sombala, Petugas Kebersihan dan masyarakat. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelakasanaan Program Makassar Tidak Rantasa (MTR) sudah memberikan perubahan pola kehidupan masyarakat Kota Makassar Khususnya di Kecamatan Tamalate dengan adanya Program Bank Sampah, Gerakan LISA, dan Gerakan LONGGAR, namun perubahan itu belum dimaksimalkan. Rekomendasi dari Penelitian ini diwajibkan kepada seluruh pegawai Kota Makassar menjadi nasabah Bank Sampah Unit dan gerakan LISA harus dibudayakan dimanapun kita berada serta pemerintah diharapkan mengadakan perlombaan LOGGAR antar kelurahan/kecamatan 3 bulan sekali. Kata Kunci: Implementasi, Kebijakan dan Program MTR

Abstract

This study aimed at finding out how the cultural model of berasanan and its implementation in civics learning, as well as knowing how the cultural model of berasanan can increase learning motivation in Secondary School class VII. A South Indralaya. The research was classroom action research (CAR) which done in two cycles. The first cycle was conducted three times and the second cycle was held twice. The subjects of this study were 29 students. The steps of each cycle include planning, action, observation, evaluation and reflection. The data were collected by using test, questionnaire, observation sheet, and documentation methods. The results of the study showed that students’ learning motivation experienced an increase in the learning process from cycle one to the second cycle. Students’ attention during the learning process, cooperation in working on group assignments, students’ participation, and courage to think showed that learning activities are increased. Negative activities of students’ learning civics were asking permission to go to the bathroom. This change showed that the interest and enthusiasm of students’ learning was increased and learning was more effective and enjoyable. Achievement of students’ learning outcomes also showed an increase, students’ learning from the first cycle of 75% increased to 86.2% in the second cycle.
