Abstract

In the city banjarbaru especially to urban villages Guntung Manggis is a endemicdengue feverdangue.And the data on the last year of 2018 began to provide support to the moon januari-agustusthere have been cases 20 a case that affected dengue fever dangue.In early august 2018, of denguefever reach 5 people and 2 people in whom dieddengue fever danguein the area was quite highespecially in under-fives and school age.Based on survey.At state elementary school 5 GuntungManggis is by 12 students dengue fever within 3 months. So that education is required recognitionaedes mosquito larvae aegpty in order to solve the problems of dengue fever in the neighborhoodthese schools. Objectives of the activities it is will increase people awareness schools fromstudents, teachers and parents in handling the larva mensukseskan eradication aegpty so thedengue fever can be reduced in the rainy especially. Methods used fairy tale is education islamistkid with the title of the kingdom of mosquitoes attack humans and the formation of detective boysexterminator aegpty aedes mosquito larvae. The results of this public service activities is theincreased knowledge about disease dengue feverAnd the behavioral changes in leg up on thehandling of the eradication of aedes mosquito larvae aegpty for the entire school independently.

Abstract

  Islamic boarding schools are a form of religious education institutions. In Indonesia, the prevalence of cancer is 1.4 per 1,000 population and is the 7th cause of death (5.7%) of all causes of death. The estimated incidence of breast cancer in Indonesia is 40 per 100,000 women. The highest type of cancer in hospitalized patients in hospitals throughout Indonesia in 2010 was breast cancer (28.7%). Therefore it is necessary to understand prevention efforts and early diagnosis so that patient detection can be carried out at an early stage so that it can reduce breast cancer deaths. Breast cancer screening is an examination or attempt to find abnormalities that lead to breast cancer in a person or group of people who have no complaints. The initial attempt to screen for breast cancer is SADARI. One of the health problems in Wihdatul Ulum Islamic boarding school, Bontokassi village, Parangloe district, Gowa district is the lack of knowledge of students on reproductive health problems, especially those related to breast cancer. The result that has been generated is an increase in knowledge where the results of the pre-test were carried out on 20 students consisting of tsnawiyah and madrasah students who were given a questionnaire with 14 questions with pre-test results, namely, 0% had good knowledge, 85% had sufficient knowledge, 5% who have less knowledge. After being given education and training at the level of natural knowledge, that is, 85% have good knowledge, 15% are sufficient and there is no one else who lacks knowledge about breast cancer.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to utilize water used for ablution from the Darul Mukhlisin mosque congregation, which is located ± 100 m from the medicinal plant garden, by collecting the water in a reservoir and draining it into the medicinal plant garden. This activity was carried out with partners from the Darul Mukhlisin farmer group and the local community. The stages of the activities carried out were: (1). Preparation of tools and materials (2) Making a reservoir with a size of 200 cm x 100 cm x 120 cm., (3) Making a water pipe installation from the reservoir to a water tank with a size of ± 100 m, , (4) Installing a water tank and water pump. The output targets that have been obtained are the availability of water reservoirs used for ablution, installation of water pipes complete with water pumps that are installed from the location of the ablution place to the medicinal plant garden area

Abstract

This PKM program will be implemented in Borisallo Village, Parangloe District, Gowa Regency which has a lot of potential natural resources. so it is important to manage village assets. The establishment of BUMDesa is intended not only to become a driving force for the wheels of the village economy but also to serve as a source of village income. For this reason, village financial management must be handled professionally. As a village financial institution that runs a financial business that meets the needs of micro-scale businesses run by village economic entrepreneurs, BUMDesa is required to make financial reports for all BUMDesa business units. every month honestly and transparently. BUMDesa is also required to provide progress reports on BUMDesa business units to village communities through village meetings at least twice a year. Therefore, it is necessary to provide financial administration technical guidance skills to the Borisallo Village Owned Enterprise (BUMDesa). The activities that will be developed in this PKM program are assistance in increasing the knowledge of Village-Owned Enterprises by conducting technical guidance on village financial administration so that BUMDesa can expand their types of business in managing Borisallo Village assets so as to increase BUMDesa income. With this PKM program, partner groups will be empowered, so they are able to access their potential. Meanwhile, the approach being developed is a learning by doing approach. From the results of this PKM activity, partners (Employees of BUMDes Borisallo) have understood the potential of village assets to be used as a source of village income and recorded simple financial management as a basis for reports to the community.

Abstract

Its objective is to provide knowledge and skills to the group of partners to increase the capability cultivation technology systems patchouli Alley Cropping on the sidelines of cocoa cropping, and produce quality patchouli oil products from the harvest and post-harvest handling is optimal. Alley Cropping system as part of efforts to increase the income of cocoa farmers through the use of empty space in between cocoa cropping. The method used is the counseling and training with material knowledge of basic techniques Alley Cropping systems and knowledge in harvesting and postharvest handling of patchouli. In addition, it is expected an increase in the cultivation of partner skills Alley Cropping system patchouli on the sidelines of cocoa cropping. Of the activities carried out can be concluded that the concept of Alley Cropping received enough good of the citizens to be applied on cocoa plantations. Knowledge of patchouli cultivation techniques applied include the selection of superior varieties, breeding, maintenance techniques, reduction and prevention of pests and diseases, cover and lighting requirements for patchouli, and staple crops and plant maintenance stream.

Abstract

The actualization of the commitment of the Muslim University of Indonesia (UMI) that caresabout the environment is manifested by the efforts of community development in the village ofPampang located adjacent to the campus of UMI, conducted through the application of technology.The objectives of the technology implementation activities are (1) to provide training to womenreligious groups (Majelis Taklim) in Pampang on environmental hygiene, sorting and processingwaste for composting for vegetable cultivation; (2) provide vegetable training and skills byVerticulture system to women's religious groups (Majelis Taklim) in Pampang so that communitygroups become more economically independent. The two types of activities are the main activitiesgiven to women's religious groups (Majelis Taklim) to utilize their free time. Both types ofactivities received positive responses from the trainees and the accompaniment reflected in theirattendance and antuasiame responses in each meeting. Organic waste processing activities need tobe increased into business scale which will also increase the family income and also support theMakassar city government program.

Abstract

Technology mastery in the specification of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) isone of the trends in this era, so that it can keep up with the rapid development of the era. It isknown, the development of information technology is currently so rapid. There are manysimulation programs about designing various fields on the internet, both those that are paid andthose that can be downloaded for free by anyone. Technological developments are increasinglyneeded by children, teenagers, young people and parents. It is estimated that it can launch businessunits such as internet cafes or wi-fi homes so as to reduce the number of unemployed youth inKalawalu. The purpose of this community service activity is that the general public in theKalawalu sub-district have capabilities in the field of computer networks and with that capability,young people can support the internet cafe business or home wi-fi so that they can maximizeaccess to the results and reduce the numbers of unemployed in the Kalawalu village.

Abstract

Paddingin Village, Sanrobone Subdistrict, Takalar Regency is one of the areas that is the center ofcorn development and is also one of the target areas of the Indonesian Muslim University. Duringthis time, farmers planted sweet corn with a conventional system with a spacing of 70 cm x 25 cm,so that the production obtained was not optimal. Besides that, the time of harvest is not givenmuch attention, while the quality of sweet corn (sugar content) is determined by the exact time ofharvest. This activity aims to provide knowledge and skills for the community in PaddinginVillage especially the Sweet Corn Farmer Group in sweet corn cultivation which includes sweetcorn planting techniques with the Legowo system and the determination of the right harvest time,so that the growth and production and quality of sweet corn produced can be maximized . Themethods used in the implementation of the Science and Technology Program for Communities arecounseling, training, production assistance, and demonstration plots. The results of this partnershipprogram are an increase in farmers' understanding and skills in cultivating sweet corn plants withthe Legowo 2: 1 system, and an increase in sweet corn production obtained by farmers by 35%.

Abstract

In a plan requires an accurate analysis. Accurate analysis results are determined by the accuracy of the data obtained during field observations. At this time the development of technology is developing very rapidly. This is in line with the technology that can be used when conducting field observations in an area. The problem that often arises is the procurement of field observations in data collection is still done manually so that the results of these observations tend to be inaccurate and take a very long time to complete. The purpose of this service is to increase knowledge in the use of technology for field observations or surveys between the Regional and City Planning Study Program at Muhammadiyah Makassar University and the Urban and Regional Planning Study Program at Lakidende University. The method of this service is training in the use of appsheet applications and the use of drones to take satellite images of areas that already have coordinates. The results of the use of these two technologies are then expected to provide benefits in field observations, especially identifying areas and the availability of facilities and infrastructure accurately. The implementation is in the form of assistance for training, practical assistance and evaluation of the success of activities.
