Abstract

There are landowners in Gedungmeneng Baru Village, Rajabasa Subdistrict, Bandarlampung City who do not install land boundary signs according to regulations, both in terms of shape, size and material. The absence of boundary marks or non compliance with land boundary mark rules can trigger disputes. This can happen because, firstly, the community is not aware of the provisions governing the shape and size of land boundary marks. Secondly, even if they are aware, they do not understand the provisions. Thirdly, even if they understand, they do not care about the situation around them regarding the installation of land boundary markers. This activity aims to increase the understanding of land rights holders about their rights and obligations as landowners, related to land boundary markings, and increase residents' understanding of the Government's program on Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL). The results of the activity showed an increase in legal knowledge and understanding, which initially only obtained an average score of 55.20 increased to an average of 74.50. The understanding of the shape and size of land boundary marks also increased. Thus residents have an understanding of the rights and obligations as landowners and good neighbors related to land boundary signs) and have a caring attitude towards the surrounding environment, to prevent land disputes by installing land boundary signs and trying to register land.

Abstract

The development of shallow groundwater-based irrigation has been carried out by many farmers to meet water needs in sub-optimal land in Pekon Ambarawa Timur. Several wells have failed to obtain groundwater and others have decreased discharge which makes pumping costs uneconomic. Measurements across two 2D geoelectric trajectories have been made to obtain the presence of shallow aquifers. Data acquisition using the ARES instrument, Wenner Schlumberger configuration with a track length of 200 m and space between electrodes of 5 m. The results of sampling in two passes, the presence of aquifers formed lenses in the dominant environment of clay material at a depth of 2-30 m. In addition to being influenced by clay materials that are low permeable, there are also melts and intrusions forming some igneous rocks. To meet the purpose of irrigation sources, the manufacture of wells is placed in the presence of aquifer lenses. In addition to production, it can also be developed as an injection well-capturing puddles of rainwater filling shallow aquifers.

Abstract

The tsunami is a worrisome natural disaster typically in coastal areas, including Batu Balak Village in South Lampung. The Selat Sunda tsunami on December 22 2018 hit the Batu Balak Village residents and resulted in material and non-material losses. The unpreparedness of the residents who experienced this incident is a reminder of the urgency of the need to increase community preparedness in facing this threat. On this basis, service activities were carried out to strengthen mitigation and education on tsunami emergency response in Batu Balak Village, South Lampung. This service activity aims to strengthen the mitigation process and educate the community regarding the potential for a tsunami disaster in the Batu Balak area. Another purpose is to increase public knowledge of disaster management. The methods used in this service are needs analysis, solution design, program assistance, and implementation. Based on the problem analysis, we carried out a workshop event on tsunami disaster mitigation, how to increase the social economy by utilizing geotourism, and made a recommendation map for tsunami evacuation routes and zones. The workshop event was attended by several residents and community leaders. The results obtained from this activity are an increased understanding of the people who present regarding the tsunami disaster, what mitigation processes need to be implemented when a disaster occurs, and how to handle the loss after the disaster.

Abstract

Salah satu upaya pengoptimalan pengolahan air bersih dengan penggunaan teknologi tepat guna yaitu metode filtrasi sederhana (sandfilter, zeolit, dan bentonit) yang akan diintegrasikan dengan pompa tenaga surya agar masyarakat dapat mengaplikasikan di rumah masing-masing dengan harga yang relatif murah dan hemat energi. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) bertujuan untuk membantu warga Perumahan Griya Saka dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai kualitas air, dampak dari air yang tidak sesuai standar, dan penerapan teknologi tepat guna dalam mengelola air bersih. Metode yang digunakan dengan pengenalan dan pelatihan pembuatan alat filtrasi diintegrasikan dengan pompa tenaga surya.

Abstract

Pengabdian di SMAN 8 Bandar Lampung ini bertujuan meningkatkan dan mengembangkan usaha pengelolaan sampah plastik melalui Bank Sampah untuk menghasilkan produk dengan nilai ekonomis lebih tinggi. Dengan adanya Bank Sampah, siswa di SMAN 8 dapat belajar bagaimana memilah dan mengelola sampah plastik di lingkungan sekolahnya. Kegiatan ini akan memberi dampak langsung terhadap usaha penanganan sampah plastik. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini meliputi sosialisasi dan pelatihan pengelolaan bank sampah. Dalam sosialisasi akan dijelaskan secara singkat tentang pemanfaatan dan penanganan sampah plastik. Pelatihan diberikan kepada guru-guru dan siswa/i SMAN 8 tentang cara pengelolaanj Bank Sampah. Bank sampah yang dibangun oleh tim pengabdian nantinya akan diserahkan kepada mitra. Kegiatan akan dilakukan di SMAN 8, dengan sasaran khususnya adalah guru dan siswa/i, kemudian dari mereka akan disebarkan kepada masyarakat sekitarnya. Hasil akhir yang diharapkan Mitra dapat mengelola bank sampah untuk meningkatkan efesiensi penanganan sampah plastik dan meningkatkan nilai ekonomisnya, dalam hal ini Mitra TPST unila akan membantu sebagai penampung sampah plastik yang telah dikumpulkan. Hal ini dapat dikatakan sebagai kegiatan dukungan positif terhadap salah satu program pemerintah dalam menjaga lingkungan hidup dan upaya minimasi limbah.

Abstract

The solid bioslurry fertilizer (sludge) produced by the biogas digester has good quality, but is still less attractive to farmers because it is in bulk form. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out training regarding the granulation of sludge into granular organic fertilizer (POG). The long-term goal of this service is fertilizer independence at the farmer level, through the ability of farmers to process surrounding waste into more practical organic fertilizer. The specific target is that the public knows science and technology related to fertilizer granulation and has skills in granulating fertilizer. The methods used are: coordination of the lecturer team with the community regarding training activities, preparation of raw materials, namely sludge and compost made from sludge-coffee husk, socialization and discussion regarding fertilizer granulation science and technology, training in making POG, and evaluation of activities together with the community. Implementation of service begins with coordinating the lecturer team with the community regarding the implementation of activities, continues with the preparation of raw materials and tools with the assistance of residents and students, implementation of training with assistance from students by inviting pekon officials and the community, ending with an evaluation with the community to determine the sustainability of the program. The community is very interested in creating a village business with this organic fertilizer, which in the future can be managed by BUMDes. An obstacle during community service is the difficulty of gathering residents during the day due to various different activities.
