Abstract

: Indonesia is one of the countries that has the world's marine biodiversity, including seaweed or algae. Among the many cultivated seaweeds in Indonesia are Gracilla sp & Kappaphycus cottonii (eucheuma cottonii). Economically, seaweed is a potential commodity to be developed because of the nutritional value it contains. Seaweed can be processed into processed food or snacks such as jelly, there are also those who process Seaweed (Nori) as medicinal and cosmetic products. Seaweed is also used in the pharmaceutical, textile and other industries. The advantages that can be obtained in cultivating seaweed include reducing the number of unemployed, increasing people's income, and increasing local revenue (PAD). Social aspect, the development of Seaweed cultivation business provides benefits for the community around the cultivation location. With this cultivation business, it is hoped that it will be able to meet broad market needs and be able to foster work enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit in the local community. From a health perspective, consuming seaweed can help maintain or lose weight, help speed up wound healing, strengthen bones and teeth, improve the digestive system, increase energy, good for people with diabetes and cholesterol, avoid swelling of the thyroid gland, fight disease, and can slow the spread of cancer cells.

Abstract

Partners in this community service activity are the PKK group in Paria Village, Pinrang Regency. Banana chips and cokko bananas have been produced a lot by the PKK group but unfortunately this business is underdeveloped and seems sober. Very simple packaging design, as well as a lack of knowledge in product promotion. The solutions provided are in the form of socialization of product processing and packaging, assistance in packaging design development, as well as training and provision of tools to package products better. Attractive product packaging design, in an effort to maintain product hygiene.

Abstract

The development of technology and information requires the world of education to always adjust to improve the quality of education. Improving educational performance will require information systems and information technology in the future, which not only serves as a supporting tool, but can be a very important tool to support the success of the world of education so that it can compete in the global world. Competency development is something that should be done by all professionals, including teachers. One of the challenges for teachers and developers of educational technology is to make innovative learning fun and not boring for students. Teacher competence in creating interesting and creative material affects teacher success in helping students achieve better learning outcomes. One of the uses of technology in learning is to use the Canva application. Training using the Canva application was carried out at SMPN 1 Majene. The participants who participated in this activity were 31 teachers. The purpose of the series of activities carried out is to provide training to teachers to use the Canva application. This training was also conducted based on observations, interviews, and surveys conducted with the school. The output of the series of activities carried out is that teachers gain new insights or refreshes about the Canva application so that they can use the Canva application to create interesting and creative learning materials.

Abstract

The involvement of women in empowerment activities is closely related to the ability to improve the economic condition of the family. Innovative activities allow them to learn various skills to earn income and expand their network, because they are connected to opportunities and innovation. This service activity was carried out in the Tumappua Village, Pangkajene District, Pangkep Regency. The method used is a women's empowerment workshop in entrepreneurship. The result of this community service activity is the increased ability and skills of women in entrepreneurship

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in maintaining the Indonesian economy. MSMEs that are empowered, are able to open jobs and participate in increasing the capacity of community welfare. To be empowered and develop, MSMEs need good financial literacy to support their operations. The results of the Focus Group Discussion found that the lack of ability to carry out basic bookkeeping is a common problem, as well as the underlying basic assumption that this requires excess time and cost causing MSMEs to be reluctant to carry out bookkeeping routines for their business activities. The purpose of this training and assistance in bookkeeping is to increase the awareness of MSMEs in conducting bookkeeping and maintaining the stability of their business by making it easier to record transactions in their business. Direct practice and mentoring methods were chosen as methods in this community service.

Abstract

Usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran penting dalam membangun dan mengembangkan perekonomian Nasional. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengembangkan pemasaran UMKM salah satunya adalah penggunaan digital marketing. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mensosialisasikan digital marketing melalui penggunaan e-commerce untuk meningkatkan pemasaran UMKM. Sosialisasi ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk membentuk UMKM yang produktif dan mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Para peserta sosialisasi sangat antusias dengan materi dan pemaparan yang disampaikan. Kondisi ini diharapkan dapat memotivasi para pelaku UMKM untuk mempraktekkan ilmu yang didapat, sehingga usahanya semakin berkembang dan dapat bersaing pada pasar yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Community service is the implementation of the practice of science, technology and art and culture directly to the community institutionally through scientific methodology as the dissemination of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and a noble responsibility in efforts to develop community capabilities. MSME development is a community service activity in the form of applying science and technology results to solve problems faced by MSME units (micro, small and medium enterprises). This program is aimed at increasing the independence and performance of MSMEs. Examples include: improving the quality of MSME industrial processed products, increasing MSME productivity with appropriate technology, developing online marketing to expand the MSME market, such as only in the Pammana village, Pammana sub-district, Wajo district, with several residents trying to open a business but lacking skills. so that skills are needed so that an entrepreneurial spirit is needed. In this training, it is hoped that entrepreneurs can increase their productivity and provide knowledge to market their products online

Abstract

Household finances are not an easy thing, you need to manage household finances correctly so that all the needs of various family members can be met. Managing family finances well, managing carefully how expenses match the income earned, is one of the keys to family success. And you need to understand that managing household finances is not only an individual's responsibility, but husbands and wives have the same important role and responsibility for managing finances in their household. However, in most conditions in people's lives, the wife plays the role of treasurer or minister of household finance. This community service activity program collaborates with partners. This form of service is carried out through the promotion of financial literacy and the practice of recording shopping books for housewives. This activity aims to increase and foster financial literacy knowledge for housewives so they are able to be wiser and manage household income and expenses, in order to meet their daily needs. The results achieved can be seen from the positive and enthusiastic responses from the participants. Participants were communicative with question and answer sessions and sharing during the service activity process. Activities like this are very beneficial for partners, especially housewives, some of whom work as cleaners, thereby increasing their knowledge in recording household finances. The service teamhopes that activities like this can continue with different themes and the creation of basic accounting consulting services and simple bookkeeping of household finances

Abstract

Lapeo village is an area with a quite large produce of agricultural, especially copra coconut farmers. It is usually used as a raw material for making VCO (virgini coconut oil). One of the SMEs in Lapeo village carries out these businesses. However, the SMEs have a problem in financial process. Precisely, they do not know how much income they earn, expenses, and capital they spend. Therefore, the aim of this service is to provide training regards to financial management to the copra coconut SMEs. The method to implementing this activity is carried out through 3 steps, firstly, direct inspection, secondly, analyzing problems, and thirdly, carrying out financial training. The results are the SMEs expected to be able to carry out routine financial records and separate personal and business financial records. Furthermore, this training received a positive responsesfrom the participants.
