Abstract

Islamic education is the name of a system, namely the Islamic education system. Islamic Religious Education, here, refers to the care and guidance of students so that after completing their education, they can understand and practice Islamic teachings and make them a way of life. The method used in this article is library research, namely research that utilizes written materials such as manuscripts, books, magazines, newspapers, and other documents. The results of this research, namely optimizing learning quality through program planning and evaluation in educational institutions, are very helpful for the future development of learning quality. With appropriate learning planning, learning objectives in Islamic educational institutions, especially teaching and learning activities, are easily achieved as expected. Furthermore, program evaluation in Islamic education is a crucial instrument in ensuring that Islamic education is not only relevant but also effective in achieving the desired educational goals. The role of the principal in this context cannot be ignored. The principal is not only an administrative leader but also a figure responsible for determining the direction and quality of Islamic education in schools. Thus, the principal's role extends beyond the administrative implementation of evaluations to include developing effective evaluation strategies, facilitating the evaluation process, and integrating evaluation results into daily educational policies and practices. Islamic education program evaluations also take various forms, ranging from curriculum evaluation and teaching methods to student achievement assessments.

Abstract

Quality control is a crucial issue in efforts to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency, across the industrial, educational, and public management sectors. The challenges of globalization and the demands of increasingly high quality standards require every institution to implement a measurable and sustainable control system. This study aims to systematically review various studies related to the implementation of quality control and answer the question: how are quality control strategies implemented and adapted in various institutional contexts? The method used is a literature review with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained from the Google Scholar and Publish or Perish (PoP) databases using the keyword quality control, with a publication period of 2020–2025. Of the 20 articles found, 7 were selected for in-depth analysis after undergoing a screening and validation process. The results of the study reveal three main themes: (1) industrial quality control based on Statistical Quality Control for production efficiency, (2) educational quality control as an instrument for improving learning quality, and (3) organizational quality control as a mechanism for accountability and strategic evaluation. This synthesis emphasizes the importance of an integrative approach between evaluation, innovation, and continuous improvement. Future research should focus on developing a cross-sectoral adaptive quality control model.

Abstract

The principal plays a crucial role in improving the quality of education through the ability to analyze and resolve problems that arise within the school environment. As the primary leader, he or she is required to possess creativity, innovation, and wisdom in decision-making to avoid stagnation or decline in the quality of education. The principal's role extends beyond that of a manager who manages processes, resources, and goal achievement, but also as a decision-maker capable of clearly defining problems, finding alternative solutions, and determining the best option. Problem-solving strategies include problem formulation, analysis of alternatives using various models (bounded rationality, chaotic models, and implicit preferences), and assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of each option. The chosen decision must be implemented and evaluated to ensure its effectiveness in the short and long term. Therefore, the quality of a principal's leadership in establishing policies and making decisions has a significant influence on the effectiveness of school management and the achievement of formulated educational goals. This research employed a qualitative method through a library research approach, in which the researcher analyzed Chapter 7 of the Al-Idaroh Al-Madrasiyah Book

Abstract

This study highlights how SMPN 15 Mataram manages its public relations function and the management of its teaching and administrative staff, from the planning stage to performance evaluation. During the planning stage, the school identifies the number of study groups (rombel) as the basis for determining teacher needs. Teacher placement is designed by the vice principal for curriculum based on diplomas and formal competencies, while the vice principal for public relations oversees programs within his unit, including the development of the literacy program into the MBG program. The placement of teaching and administrative staff is also aligned with official documents such as certificates of expertise and employment status, including approximately 15 first aid personnel. In terms of performance assessment, the principal acts as the primary assessor through a digital system in the GTK room connected to the KPSN division. Professional development of teachers and staff is carried out through learning communities, scientific papers, and various activities or competitions facilitated by public relations. Performance evaluation is conducted transparently and can be followed up through direct communication with the principal. Overall, public relations and human resource management at SMPN 15 Mataram is systematic, collaborative, and structured.

Abstract

The digital transformation has fundamentally reshaped educational supervision, shifting it from conventional inspection-oriented practices to a more collaborative, reflective, and data-driven model. This article aims to analyze the conceptual reconstruction of educational supervision in the digital era, outline its strategic objectives, and examine its implications for teacher professionalism. Employing a library research approach, the study synthesizes insights from approximately 20 national and international journal articles, scholarly books, and official reports related to educational digitalization. The findings reveal three major paradigm shifts: the emergence of data-driven supervision, the strengthening of collaborative and reflective professional cultures, and the development of continuous supervision supported by technological integration. Relevant supervision models include data-driven supervision, e-supervision, and reflective–collaborative–appreciative supervision, all of which collectively enhance teachers’ digital pedagogical competence, reflective capacity, and culture of innovation. Despite these opportunities, digital supervision faces challenges such as uneven digital literacy, technological infrastructure gaps, and limited digital leadership capacity among school leaders. This article concludes that successful implementation of digital supervision requires a digitally ready school ecosystem and visionary leadership, positioning digital supervision as a key driver of teacher professionalism in the era of Education 4.0 and 5.0.
