Abstract

This research aims to examine the use of online illustrated stories using the storyjumper platform as a medium for instilling Pancasila values in undergraduate students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at Sunan Kalijaga University. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative research method which aims to understand the phenomenon of the implementation and evaluation plans of the study program in instilling Pancasila values through the media of illustrated stories. The results of this research are that the use of ICT-based picture story learning media, besides being fun, is also able to provide learning motivation, especially for students. Storyjumper, which is a type of learning application that utilizes this technology, contributes to the creation of illustrated stories that instill Pancasila values. Although in practice, students experience several obstacles in terms of using the platform, solutions can be found. Choosing picture stories in learning is one of the media used by students because it has many positive values or advantages. Among the advantages of this media are that it is easy and flexible; cheap and economical; increasing student creativity; help and provide insight into the values of Pancasila

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the significant effect of the Geogebra-assisted Problem Based Learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities and independent learning. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of quasi-experimental research, the research design uses a Post-test Only Control Group Design. This study uses only one class. Test the hypothesis in this study using a one-way MANOVA. The sample in this study was class XI-IPA.4 SMA Negeri 1 Galang for the academic year 2022/2023 with a total of 34 students as an experimental class using Geogebra-assisted Problem Based Learning. The hypothesis testing data analysis technique uses the Manova test with the help of SPSS. The results of this study indicate, the results of the MANOVA test with Hotelling's Trace analysis show a significant value of 0.000 less than 0.05 (H0 is rejected) so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the Problem Based Learning model with the help of Geogebra on problem solving abilities and student learning independence .

Abstract

The study aims to shed light on the multifaceted landscape of English Language Teaching (ELT) curriculum in the context of its development, implementation, evaluation, and comparative analysis. The first phase of the study delves into the developmental aspect of ELT curriculum, examining the underlying theories, methodologies, and best practices that inform its construction. Through content analysis, and document review, the research seeks to uncover the pedagogical innovations, curricular adaptations, and the development of ELT curriculum. In the subsequent phase, the study investigates the practical implementation of ELT curriculum within the classroom environment. By employing classroom observations, content analysis, the research scrutinizes the translation of curriculum design into instructional practice, including the strategies used, the learning materials selected, and the student-centered approaches employed. The third phase of this study centers on the evaluation of ELT curriculum effectiveness. It utilizes assessment tools, outcome measurements, and student and teacher evaluations to gauge the impact of the curriculum on language proficiency, teaching effectiveness, and learning outcomes. Through a systematic review of different curriculum models, the study seeks to identify disparities, strengths, and weaknesses in diverse ELT approaches. This comparative perspective helps inform recommendations for potential improvements and adjustments in curriculum design and implementation. In summation, this qualitative study contributes to the ongoing discourse on ELT curriculum by unraveling its development, implementation, evaluation, and comparative aspects. By gaining a deeper understanding of the intricacies and variations within ELT curriculum, educators and policymakers can make informed decisions to enhance the quality of English language education.

Abstract

This research analyzes the problem of lack of literacy and references for practicum material that students can use to make it easier for them in practicum, making students overwhelmed and having difficulty completing the project assignments given. To answer the challenges of the digitalization 5.0 era and make things easier for students, innovations are needed in learning Computer Networks courses, the innovation of which is in the form of video tutorial media which can motivate students to have more fun learning and make it easier for students to absorb knowledge and skills in the field of Computer Networks. This research method uses a type of research and development (R & D) Instructional Development Institute (IDI) development model using qualitative data analysis. This research will be carried out at the Indonesian Christian University of Toraja with students from the Educational Technology Study Program as research subjects. The results of the development in this research are video tutorial media products with a duration of ± 7 minutes which are packaged in the form of teaching materials that are ready to be used. The validation level of the video tutorial media developed is based on material and media experts, is in the valid category, and is suitable for testing. Abstract

AbstractCultural values are a representation of values that have been ingrained and agreed upon by a group of people as the way they behave. Culture is a whole which includes beliefs, values, technology, customs, skills and habits as a result of humans' meaning in their lives. The aim of this research is to reveal the cultural values of Talo Balak Traditional Music at Sanggar Kherti Buana, Bandar Lampung. This research uses an inter-disciplinary approach with sociocultural theory. This research uses a qualitative method with a research design, namely a case study. The focus of this study is to examine more deeply the cultural values of traditional Talo Balak music at the Kherti Buana studio. The research location chosen in this study was the Kherti Buana art studio, Bandar Lampung. The results of the discussion in this research are that Talo Balak music contains local cultural values such as the value of tolerance, the value of mutual cooperation, the value of hard work, and the value of courtesy, whichbased on Piil Pesenggiri's philosophy of life.Keywords:Traditional Music, Cultural Values, Talo Balak. ABSTRAKNilai budaya adalah representasi nilai-nilai yang telah mengakar dan disetujui oleh sekolompok masyarakat sebagai cara mereka berperilaku. Budaya merupakan sebuah keutuhan yang didalamnya mencakup kepercayaan, nilai, teknologi, adat istiadat, keterampilan dan kebiasaan sebagai hasil dari pemaknaan manusia dalam kehidupannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengungkap nilai-nilai Budaya pada Musik Tradisional Talo Balak di Sanggar Kherti Buana, Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan inter-desipliner dengan teori sosiokultural. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain penelitian yaitu studi kasus. Fokus pada kajian ini adalah menelisik lebih dalam terkait nilai-nilai Budaya pada musik tradisional Talo Balak di sanggar Kherti Buana. Lokasi penelitian yang dipilih dalam kajian ini yaitu sanggar seni Kherti Buana, Bandar Lampung. Hasil pembahasan dalam penelitian ini adalah music Talo Balak memuat nilai-nilai Budaya lokal seperti nilai toleransi, nilai gotong-royong, nilai kerja keras, dan nilai sopan santun, yang berlandaskan pada filsafat hidup Piil Pesenggiri. Kata Kunci: Music Tradisional, Nilai Budaya, Talo Balak.

Abstract

Learning evaluation is the process of systematically collecting, analysing and interpreting information to determine the achievement of learning objectives. One of the important components in learning evaluation is the affective/attitude domain. The purpose of this research is to find out: (1) understanding the learning evaluation of the affective domain of the PAI subject; (2) indicators of the evaluation of the affective domain of the PAI subject in the Merdeka Curriculum; (3) planning and implementation of the evaluation of the affective domain of the PAI subject in the Merdeka Curriculum. This study uses a qualitative approach by describing and elaborating on the design of the affective domain evaluation instrument for the PAI subject in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. The data collection technique used in this research is literature study. The primary data source used is the Merdeka Belajar curriculum policy published by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. The secondary data sources are obtained through national and international journal articles and other book sources that can help researchers related to the design of affective domain evaluation instruments for Islamic education in the Merdeka Curriculum. The results of this study indicate that affective is a domain related to mentality and values, in the form of feelings, interests, attitudes, emotions or values. In the learning of the Merdeka Curriculum, there are no terms for cognitive, affective, and psychomotor assessments, but the Merdeka Curriculum is known as formative and summative assessments. Affective evaluation techniques can be carried out through observation, self-assessment, peer-review and journals.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach. Researchers obtain the required data directly from respondents in the field. The technique used in collecting research data is through interviews. The results of this research will be presented in the form of words that do not use statistical techniques. This research was conducted determine the role of guidance and counseling teachers in develoving positive personalities in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Rantau Utara. Based on the results of the interview, it can be be concluded thet although it is not yet perfect due to inadequate facilities, the role of the BK teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Rantau Utara in develoving positive personalities for class VIII students has been carried out well, namely by carrying out character development, making a fixed schedule and collaborating with the school principal, subject teachers. This can be proven by the reduction in class VIII students who violate school rules,

Abstract

In this globalized world, juvenile delinquency and other lawlessness are common news. In addition, many teenagers commit fights and murders. This study examines how PAI teachers at SMA Swasta Budi Agung Medan reduce juvenile delinquency as well as the supporting and inhibiting variables. Thus, PAI teachers can foster children to identify their problems and prevent juvenile delinquency in this day and age. Every educator can instill Islamic ideals from the Qur'an and Hadith in their students. Thus, this study examines the involvement of PAI teachers in preventing juvenile delinquency at SMA Swasta Budi Agung Medan to prevent environmental and national crimes. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with phenomenological approach to collect primary data through observation and in-depth interview as well as secondary data from journals, books, and articles. The results of the research regarding the prevention of juvenile delinquency with optimal Islamic religious education. Prevention of juvenile delinquency includes including adolescents in religious activities and other good activities to build character.

Abstract

This research focuses on the problems experienced by ADHD students who are unable to stay seated while studying . The aim of this research is to increase endurance while sitting in learning and also to provide enthusiasm in participating in learning by using economic tokens. This research uses an experimental method using SSR (Single Subject Research). This research data was collected through observation and documentation. The results of this research can be said that the use of economic tokens is effective in increasing sitting endurance in children with ADHD.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the ability of class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Sidenreng Rappang in writing scientific papers based on direct observation. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data source was obtained from class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Sidenreng Rappang. totaling 40 students taken as a sample of 20% of 208 students. Data was obtained by means of participant observation, documentation, and written tests and then processed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The data collected in this research will be analyzed using percentage variance analysis techniques and processed by creating a list of raw scores, while for standardization purposes, measuring each student's abilities is carried out by transforming the raw scores into scores on a scale of 10 - 100. Next, determine the percentage of student mastery of the material being tested with criteria of 85% and above with the lowest score being 65 on a scale of 10 -100. The results of this research show that the frequency and percentage of class %) who scored less than 65.student at SMA Negeri 4 Sidenreng Rappang able to write scientific papers, because they have achieved the specified target, namely 85% for a score of 65 and above on the 10-100 assessment scale.
