Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan focuses on the following topics: Curriculum development, teacher education and professional development, teacher training, cross-cultural studies, learning, evaluation, English language teaching, counseling, management, quality of education, and the use of communication and information technology, at various levels of education and how to deliver learning. It provides an academic platform for teachers, lecturers, and researchers to contribute innovative work in the field. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is first published in March 2017 and covers much research in all levels of education (primary, secondary, and higher education). Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan become a CrossRef Member since the year 2019. Therefore, all articles published will have a unique DOI number. Beginning from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017), all articles will be published in the English version and Indonesia version. The publication frequency is twice a year in March and October. Abstract

There is a perspective if intellectual intelligence is the only factor in achieve learning achievement so that efforts to develop emotional intelligence do not noticed. This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on social science learning achievement in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Ambawang. This research using quantitative methods with a population of 112 from class VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Ambawang. Sampling using the simple random sampling technique, so obtained a sample of 88. Data collection using a questionnaire and social science value data as research instrument, then to look for the effect of emotional intelligence on achievement study social science using a simple linear regression test using SPSS 24. From the results of data collection known if there are 47 samples that have high emotional intelligence and 41 with a level moderate, then from the Social science final exam scores there were 76 samples who passed and 12 people did not complete. It was found that the R square value was 0.616, this result is significant if emotional intelligence affect social science learning achievement by 61.6%. From the value of R square it can be concluded if intelligence emotional has an influence on social science learning achievement in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Ambawang.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of Islamic values, both normative and historical, in shaping adolescent identity. Normative Islamic values, which are based on religious teachings, and historical Islamic values, which reflect the cultural heritage and long history of Islam, have a significant impact on adolescents' self-understanding, behavior and worldview. In a normative approach, this research highlights how values such as faith, worship and Islamic ethics shape teenagers' religious identity. The library research research method is used to explore and analyze normative and historical approaches in Islamic studies, and a qualitative approach with content analysis is used to analyze and present research findings. The research results show that understanding and internalizing these values influences a strong religious identity in adolescents. In addition, Islamic moral and ethical concepts, such as justice and goodness, influence teenagers' behavior in everyday life. On the other hand, in a historical approach, this research emphasizes that historical Islamic values play a role in shaping the cultural and social identity of adolescents. These values reflect the cultural and historical heritage of Islam, influencing adolescents' cultural identity and worldview

Abstract

This research was conducted to answer the need for the latest electronic teaching materials, interactive and facilitating learning for teachers and grade V elementary school students, especially in the era of Revolution 4.0. The main purpose of this study is to determine the development procedures and feasibility of interactive electronic modules based on Flip PDF Corporate Edition for learning science in Class V Elementary School on Heat Transfer Material. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. This research produces teaching materials developed with Flip PDF Corporate Edition in the form of interactive electronic modules containing text, images, audio visuals, and games.Validation by expert lecturers was carried out twice. The final result of validation by three expert lecturers (science material, media, and design) was 100%, which means that the electronic module can be used without revision. The final result of validation by language expert lecturers is 86.67% which means that the electronic module can be used with minor revisions. The results of the small group trial of the electronic module tested were 91.67%, which means that the electronic module can be used with minor revisions. The results of the field trial of the electronic module tested were 86.83%, which means that the electronic module can be used with minor revisions. The comparison of the results of the small group trial and the field trial is 88.99%, which means that the electronic module can be used with minor revisions in learning activities with the highest indicator, namely the presence of electronic modules facilitates learning for teachers and students in grade V elementary school.

Abstract

Education is a basic and very important activity for every individual. Through education, humans can gain knowledge about everything. Apart from that, education also influences human awareness in knowing God more deeply and understanding themselves. Therefore, quality education will provide the expected results, namely the use of an individual's intellectual abilities in all aspects of his life. Paul Karl Feyerabend is known as a controversial philosopher who put forward anarchist views in epistemology and scientific methodology. In the context of Islamic education, Feyerabend believes that freedom of thought, criticism and dialogue are important principles that must be emphasized in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to investigate the concept and dedication of Paul Karl Feyerabend in the context of contemporary Islamic education with an anarchist perspective. This research is library research with a qualitative approach that focuses on descriptive analysis based on data information obtained, including sources. primary or secondary. The results of the analysis show that in Feyerabend's view, the concept of anarchism is not about disorder or chaos, but rather about diversity, plurality, and criticism of authority and norms that inhibit freedom of thought and expression. Feyerabend's dedication to contemporary Islamic education can be seen in his efforts to promote freedom of thought, independent research and as a source of inspiration for developing alternative approaches to religious learning. The anything goes principle provides the basis for creating an educational environment that is inclusive, critical, and based on freedom of thought.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi sikap hormat peserta didik serta bagaimana lingkungan sosial sekolah berperan dalam memengaruhi sikap tersebut. Dalam lingkungan sekolah, peran lingkungan sosial sangat penting dalam membentuk perilaku peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif pendekatan deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian tiga peserta didik di SMP Kuncup Melati Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal berperan dalam membentuk sikap hormat. Faktor internal melibatkan pengalaman hidup dan kepribadian, sedangkan faktor eksternal melibatkan lingkungan sosial sekolah dan pengaruh teknologi. Lingkungan sosial sekolah memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk sikap hormat peserta didik, interaksi dengan guru, staf, dan teman sebaya menciptakan norma perilaku dan sikap dalam lingkungan sekolah. Faktor internal dan eksternal seperti pengalaman hidup, kepribadian, lingkungan sekolah, dan teknologi juga memengaruhi sikap hormat peserta didik. Untuk meningkatkan sikap hormat peserta didik, penting untuk memperhatikan faktor-faktor ini dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang positif dan inklusif.

Abstract

Pelatihan Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Homeschooling Kusalamitra adalah pesantren Buddha yang terletak di Wonosari Gunungkidul. PKBM ini merupakan lembaga pendidikan nonformal yang memberikan pelatihan dan pembelajaran kepada masyarakat dengan cara yang berbeda. Berbeda dengan PKBM lainnya membuat PKBM Homeschooling Kusalamitra sangat menerik untuk diteliti. Tujuan penelitian ini hendak mengkaji apakah self efficacy berpengaruh terhadap adversity quetient (aq) dalam pembelajaran yang terjadi di PKBM Homeschooling Kusalahmitra. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara self efficacy dan adversity quotient siswa PKBM Homeschooling Kusalamitra Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Analisis deskripsi menunjukkan bahwa variabel self efficacy (X) memiliki hasil sebesar 76% dengan kategori tinggi, sementara variabel adversity quotient (Y) memiliki hasil sebesar 74% dengan kategori cukup. Koefisien determinasi R Square sebesar 0.755, mengindikasikan bahwa self efficacy memberikan kontribusi sebesar 75,5% terhadap adversity quotient siswa PKBM Homeschooling Kusalamitra. Hasil analisis regresi menggunakan uji t menunjukkan t hitung sebesar 10.667 dengan nilai signifikansi (sig.) 0.000 ≤ 0.30, sehingga Ho ditolak. Hal ini menegaskan bahwa self efficacy memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap adversity quotient pada siswa PKBM Homeschooling Kusalamitra tahun pelajaran 2022/2023."

Abstract

Sustainability career for teachers has not been a concern due to the assumption teaching will always be a sustainable career. Data from UNESCO stated that to achieve the 2023 Education goals, the world needs almost 69 million new teachers. The article analyzes teacher career sustainability using the Phenomenology methods to get the perspective of Millennial Generation teachers specifically from schools based on Islamic religion on the sustainability careers of the teachers. Method of data gathered using interviews and observation for 3 years starting from 2020-2023. The interview research is broken down into word codes which resulting in these keywords that affect teachers' career sustainability in Millennial Generation teachers who work in Islamic religion school base (mostly Muhammadiyah): Teachers Motivation, Teacher Commitment, Principals Leadership, Teacher Perspective of workload, and internalization of Islamic Values in the Teachers From the interview result, the internalization of Islamic values holds a deep impact on increasing the sustainability career of teachers who hold Islam as their religion and work in Islamic schools.

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Islam merupakan bentuk pembelajaran yang sangat penting di dalam kehidupan,didalam ajarannya membawa manusia pada kehidupan yang lebih baik, sekaligus menjadi filterdan landasan dalam rangka membentuk karakter kebangsaan. Pada dasarnya pembelajaran yang dikemukakan oleh Ibnu Khaldun berkaitan dengan model pembelajaran kontekstual. Ibnu Khaldun menghubungkan antara konsep dan realita melalui berbagai pengalaman. Berdasarkan hal tersebut perlu adanya penelitian untuk mengkaji lebih dalam terkait konsep pembelajaran kontekstual Pendidikan Agama Islam. Pembelajaran kontekstual PAI menurut Ibnu Khaldun pada dasarnya meliputi beberapa aspek antara lain pendidik, peseta didik, tujuan, materi, serta model pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran yang diterapkan beliau merupakan pembelajaran kontekstual, dimana menghubungkan antara konsep dengan realita didalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pembelajaran didalam PAI juga tidak hanya bertumpu pada teori saja melainkan mengajak peserta didik untuk berfikir kreatif dan inofatif dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of education in forming children's awareness. Becoming civically aware is increasingly important in complex modern societies, where children need to understand their rights, obligations and responsibilities as citizens. This research uses interview methods with teachers and students. The research results show that citizenship education has an important role in forming children's awareness. Through a relevant curriculum and interactive learning approach, children can learn about the values of democracy, pluralism, tolerance and human rights. Citizenship education also helps children understand their role in building a just and sustainable society. Apart from that, this research also identified several challenges faced in implementing citizenship education, such as a lack of resources and training for teachers, as well as differences in political views that exist in society. Therefore, recommendations are given to strengthen the role of citizenship education through the development of a more inclusive curriculum and better training for teachers. Thus, this research confirms that citizenship education has a significant role in forming children's awareness of their rights, obligations and responsibilities as active citizens and participants in the development of society and the country.

Abstract

Civic Education has a high role in increasing the spirit of nationality, especially for generation Z as the nation's successor who is expected to contribute to his country.Our reason for choosing the role of civic education in building young people's political awareness and many generation z who prefer abstention in general elections because they think that there are no political parties that can be trusted.This research uses interview and documentation methods. The interview method is like asking generation Z youth about the role of Civic Education in shaping political awareness and the documentation method we do is like taking pictures to document the physical or visual state of an event object.Many young people are less aware of politics in addition to generation Z youth do not care about politics.Starting from questions to high school students who say that civic education lessons do not increase awareness of politics.Then there are also many generation Z youth who do not use their voting rights or choose to abstain, fulfilled with quite logical reasons.Rethinking the importance of political participation in realizing political democracy. It is appropriate for young people to open political insights so that whatever public opinion is given regarding the political process is not accepted raw. Because one vote in the general election will determine the direction this nation will take. Choosing is not easy, but not choosing is not a wise attitude..
