Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is concern in publishing the original research articles, review articles from the contributors and the current issues related to multidisipline of education. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan focuses on the following topics: Curriculum development, teacher education and professional development, teacher training, cross-cultural studies, learning, evaluation, English language teaching, counseling, management, quality of education, and the use of communication and information technology, at various levels of education and how to deliver learning. It provides an academic platform for teachers, lecturers, and researchers to contribute innovative work in the field. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is first published in March 2017 and covers much research in all levels of education (primary, secondary, and higher education). Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan become a CrossRef Member since the year 2019. Therefore, all articles published will have a unique DOI number. Beginning from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017), all articles will be published in the English version and Indonesia version. The publication frequency is twice a year in March and October. Abstract

This research was conducted to find out what the criminal system is for drug trafficking and used a case study of drug trafficking in Marelan, Medan based on the judge's decision at the Medan District Court. Drug trafficking is a form of violation of the law in criminal law regulated in Law no. 35 of 2009 concerning drugs. North Sumatra is one of the largest contributors to drug trafficking in Indonesia, specifically in the city of Medan. The government, narcotics department and other law enforcers must be able to collaborate with the community to thoroughly investigate drug trafficking cases. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods and interviews with the judge who handled this case. In this research, chronological results were found up to the judge's decision and the punishment system for drug dealers. This research focuses on drug trafficking cases and the criminal system and judge's decisions in handling drug trafficking cases

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out more about the role of community leaders in fostering an attitude of social care in the Grogol Youth Association (IRAG) in Magelung Village, South Kaliwungu District, Kendal Regency. This type of research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The data sources used as sources of information are community leaders and village youth. The focus of this research is the role of community leaders in fostering an attitude of social care in the Grogol Youth Association (IRAG) in Magelung Village, South Kaliwungu District, Kendal Regency. The indicators in this research are the role of community leaders as direction makers in fostering attitudes of social care, as representatives and spokespersons in cultivating attitudes of social care, as mediators and facilitators in cultivating attitudes of social care and as integrators in cultivating attitudes of social care. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques through data collection, data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of research related to the role of community leaders in fostering an attitude of social concern in the Grogol Youth Association (IRAG) Magelung Village, South Kaliwungu District, Kendal Regency show that 1) the policy of community leaders in cultivating an attitude of social care for teenagers is to involve teenagers in social activities such as mutual cooperation. . 2) accept the aspirations of residents by providing good responses and scrutinizing them to find solutions. 3) hold joint deliberations to hear or accommodate the problems and difficulties faced so that good solutions can be provided. 4) holding meetings between teenagers and parents with joint deliberations providing ongoing education and examples such as teenagers mingling with other people. The conclusion of this research is that the role of community leaders has been implemented to the maximum extent possible but there are still shortcomings in dealing with teenagers, so community leaders continue to provide direction so that social care attitudes can be implemented.

Abstract

This paper evaluates the implementation of the Case-Based Learning Model (CBM) in the Electromagnetic Field course under the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach in the undergraduate Electrical Engineering program at Universitas Andalas (Unand). CBM, involving students in case analysis, is integrated into OBE to achieve desired learning outcomes. Evaluation is conducted through attendance, mid-term exams (UTS), final exams (UAS), and case study reports. The analysis of student grades shows satisfactory class performance but with significant variability. Improvement focus is recommended on enhancing conceptual understanding, especially prior to UTS and UAS. By focusing on strengthening conceptual understanding and intervening with low-performing students, this model can continue to enhance the quality of learning in the Electromagnetic Field course. This evaluation provides in-depth insights into individual achievements and class dynamics overall. In conclusion, the implementation of CBM in Electromagnetic Field within the OBE framework provides opportunities to produce graduates with relevant theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Abstract

In the process of running an organization smoothly, various forms of skills are needed so that a company can develop well and smoothly. These skills must be possessed by every employee. If there are new employees, old employees must be able to teach them about the culture that exists in a company. Apart from that, new employees must also be able to adapt to the new company environment. The aim of making this journal is to find out the role of interpersonal communication in the work environment from an Islamic perspective. Interpersonal communication within an organizational scope such as the work environment requires a process to achieve the desired performance. Effective interpersonal communication will provide information quickly and also provide clearer ideas which is important in the work environment.

Abstract

Google sites is a website media that can be used in the learning process, group or personal. The aim of this research is to find out: 1) Developing a Google Sites-based learning media design for PAI learning, 2) How appropriate a Google Sites-based learning media design is for PAI learning. 3) What is the appeal of Google Sites-based learning media design for PAI learning? The research approach used in this research is Research and Development (RnD). The result of this research is the development of Google Site-based learning based on the ADDIE model and is declared "WORTH IT". So far, Google Site-based online learning media can be received by students easily, practically and effectively anytime and anywhere. Recommendations for schools or teachers are to make good use of Google Sites-based learning media so that students can follow technological developments used for learning activities. Both learning in junior high schools and learning at the next level, future researchers who will develop Google Sites-based learning are advised to follow technological developments according to what the school has, such as developing Google Site-based PAI learning so that.

Abstract

Kecemasan merupakan masalah yang sering dihadapi oleh banyak orang dan dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan mental seseorang. Al Quran diketahui memiliki fungsi sebagai terapi penyembuhan mental seperti kecemasan. Sebagai terapi mental berbasis Al Quran, Metode Q pertama kali digunakan di Ponpes Al Quran Shalahuddin Al Ayyubi Kulonprogo sebagai salah satu cara untuk mengatasi kecemasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali metode Q dengan detail dalam hubungan nya dengan kecemasan, memahami metode Q sebagai kontektualisasi dari Q.S.Al-‘Alaq [1], memaparkan langkah-langkah metode Q, dan mengetahui penerapan serta efektivitas metode Q dalam mengatasi kecemasan pada santri Ponpes Al Quran Shalahuddin Al Ayyubi Kulonprogo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian fenomena dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Q efektif dalam menurunkan tingkat kecemasan santri. Dimana efektivitas metode Q lebih tinggi pada santri yang menjalankan metode Q dengan penuh dan berani terbuka terhadap orang tua, selalu melaporkan kendala dan perkembangan kepada pembimbing, serta melakukan aktivitas bersosial dan berdinamisasi dengan teman-teman nya. Selain itu, metode ini juga membantu meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan kesehatan mental mereka, sehingga mereka dapat menjalani kehidupan dengan lebih baik lagi. Pembaruan dalam penelitian ini terdapat pada efektivitas Metode Q dalam mengatasi kecemasan pada santri

Abstract

Every citizen has rights and responsibilities in the preservation of nature and the environment. This research discusses the ecological citizenship profile of river communities, including awareness of ecological citizenship rights and obligations, participation, and awareness of collective responsibility in preserving the ecosystem while managing the Deli River. The research method employed is qualitative, focusing on a deep understanding of the context, meaning, and characteristics of the phenomenon. The findings indicate that the reality of Deli River environmental management reflects a lack of awareness regarding rights and obligations as citizens in the context of ecological citizenship. A major indicator is the high level of water pollution in the Deli River, stemming from poorly managed industrial and domestic activities, leading to water quality issues, including pollution from industrial waste, household waste, and agricultural pesticide use. The significance of community involvement in Deli River management entails active participation in maintaining river cleanliness, waste management, and environmental conservation efforts to ensure the preservation of the river ecosystem.

Abstract

a very important thing in overcoming the spread of hoaxes in the era of the millennial generation is the effort to generate digital literacy. The purpose of having digital literacy skills is to control oneself and the audience in interpreting confusing news on social media. This article will study the implementation of digital literacy, how it affects and how to improve skills to prevent the spread of hoax news among the millennial generation. This article uses the library research method to combine several literatures such as books, journals, and other literature. Digital literacy cannot be separated from the world of social media because 97.4% of Indonesians use social media on various platforms Digital literacy has an important meaning in the world of communication because of 3 things. everyday life. Second, millennials are addicted to digital platforms such as Google, WhatsApp, Instagram and others to find information quickly without distance and time. With digital literacy, it is hoped that the millennial generation will use social media well, be selective in sorting and selecting incoming news and messages. Abstract

Holistic education plays an important role in shaping the enthusiasm for learning in every individual. It emphasizes the connection between physical, emotional, social, and moral aspects of the developmental process, going beyond mere academic achievements. This article uses a qualitative literature review approach to discover the link between holistic education and enthusiasm for learning. Teaching aligned with God’s word has a vital role in shaping character, knowledge, and a stable moral foundation. This article also outlines how holistic education and teachings based on God’s word are interconnected, assisting individuals in guiding their lives according to the principles contained in the scriptures. This approach also aids individuals in understanding their beliefs and can trigger sustained enthusiasm for learning. Through a holistic approach aligned with teachings from scripture, individuals are expected to become enthusiastic learners, possess good morals, and contribute positively to society and their overall lives. Therefore, holistic education based on the values of God’s word can provide a strong foundation for learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the impact of the use of Social Media that has influenced students towards bullying and to find out the extent of students' understanding in respecting differences and diversity so that bullying does not occur. this research uses descriptive methods by conducting interviews with respondents of one class of students of SMP Negeri 35 Medan. The results of the research conducted are that these students already have a good attitude in using social media and students also understand how to respect diversity and not commit acts of bullying on social media
