Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is concern in publishing the original research articles, review articles from the contributors and the current issues related to multidisipline of education. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan focuses on the following topics: Curriculum development, teacher education and professional development, teacher training, cross-cultural studies, learning, evaluation, English language teaching, counseling, management, quality of education, and the use of communication and information technology, at various levels of education and how to deliver learning. It provides an academic platform for teachers, lecturers, and researchers to contribute innovative work in the field. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is first published in March 2017 and covers much research in all levels of education (primary, secondary, and higher education). Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan become a CrossRef Member since the year 2019. Therefore, all articles published will have a unique DOI number. Beginning from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017), all articles will be published in the English version and Indonesia version. The publication frequency is twice a year in March and October. This journal has been accredited in Grade 4 (Sinta 4) based on the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology No. 158/E/KPT/2021, December 27, 2021.

Abstract

The community service program at SMKN 8 Pinrang was conducted through the Teaching Assistance Program (PKKM), aiming to enhance students' reading interest and foster a strong literacy culture. This activity aligns with the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi) and provides students with a valuable opportunity to gain both learning and working experiences through teaching assistance at SMKN 8 Pinrang.Based on an assessment of student literacy at SMKN 8 Pinrang, the program leveraged the potential to refine and develop students' reading interests. The teaching assistance program was fully supported by the university and supervised by field advisors. Reading interest activities were carried out through wall magazines, short story and numeracy competitions, and engaging activities tailored to subject-based ice-breaking sessions.The results of this program demonstrated an increase in students' literacy and reading interest, highlighting the significant role of university students in teaching assistance. They not only motivated students to learn but also supported teachers in fulfilling their responsibilities effectively

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of Wordwall, an interactive learning tool, in enhancing students' learning motivation in Class XII.G at SMAN 1 Pinrang. The research was conducted using a classroom action research (CAR) methodology, consisting of two cycles of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests, classroom observations, and student questionnaires to assess the impact of Wordwall on students' motivation and academic performance. The results showed a significant improvement in student engagement, participation, and motivation, with students actively involved in learning activities and showing greater enthusiasm in the classroom. The use of Wordwall increased students' intrinsic motivation by providing an enjoyable and dynamic learning environment. These findings suggest that integrating interactive learning tools like Wordwall can foster a more engaging classroom atmosphere and improve learning outcomes.

Abstract

Ramli Abdul Wahid and His Thought on Islamic Education. This paper discusses the biography of Ramli Abdul Wahid, a North Sumatra scholar who has multidisciplinary thinking. He is a Hadith expert, but discusses various disciplines and one of them is Islamic education. This research is a qualitative research with a character study approach. From the research conducted, the author concludes that Ramli Abdul Wahid's Islamic education thinking is motivated by his educational history and his position as chairman of the fatwa commission at the Indonesian Ulama Council of North Sumatra (MUI SU) and Al-Jam'iyatul Washliyah Medan. Therefore, the orientation of Islamic education according to him is that it must be in accordance with Islamic values based on the Qur'an and Hadith.

Abstract

Children's behaviour and morals are greatly influenced by the role of parents in encouraging them to learn about Islam; they will understand the boundaries of what is meant by good and bad deeds if they become human beings devoted to Allah SWT. As parents, children's education is the main thing, especially in Islamic religious education. This research raises several problems, one of which is how parents encourage their children to learn about Islam. This research aims to find out how parents can encourage their children to learn about Islam. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach that collects data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Research findings show that parents are responsible for guiding, teaching, and inspiring their children by encouraging them to participate in recitations, modelling good behaviour, and providing quality instruction. Children inspired to learn Islam from their parents receive three benefits: becoming more enthusiastic, having strong morals, and being filial to their parents. One of the supporting factors is television.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi inovasi dalam dakwah yang muncul dari pemahaman animisme di kalangan masyarakat Lombok untuk memperluas syiar Islam di Gumi Sasak, Lombok khususnya. Fokus penelitian adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dakwah yang berasal dari pemahaman dan konteks animisme lokal, serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap transformasi nilai-nilai keagamaan di Nahdlatul Wathan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan study kasus serta mengumpulkan data dari literatur, artikel ilmiah, dan sumber-sumber sekunder lainnya yang relevan dengan animisme, dinamisme dan praktik dakwah di Lombok. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa Nahdatul Wathan telah mengembangkan inovasi dakwah dengan memadukan elemen-elemen animisme dan dinamisme seperti kepercayaan wetu telu dan praktik selamatan di laut dalam konteks penyampaian ajaran islam. Inovasi ini melibatkan pendekatan terhadap nilai-nilai tradisional, penggunaan simbol-simbol lokal yang dapat dipahami oleh masyarakat setempat, dan adaptasi pesan-pesan agama sesuai dengan konteks budaya animisme dan dinamisme yakni dengan adanya MDQH dan kegiatan melontar. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa inovasi dari pemahaman animisme dan dinamisme dalam praktik dakwah NW tidak hanya efektif dalam memperluas syiar Islam, tetapi juga relevan dalam menghormati warisan budaya lokal dalam konteks keagamaan yang lebih luas.

Abstract

The focus of the problem in this study is how the pattern of communication between religious communities in strengthening harmony in Gangsiran Hamlet, Mategal Village, Parang District, Magetan Regency. This study aims to find out the types of communication patterns and to describe the communication barriers used between religious communities in strengthening harmony in Gangsiran Hamlet, Mategal Village, Parang Magetan District. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method. The subject of this study is the community in Gangsiran Hamlet, Parang Magetan District. The data analysis determination techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. This study shows that the relationship between religious communities in Gangsiran Hamlet, Mategal Village, Parang Magetan District has a harmonious relationship. The communication used by the people of Gangsiran Hamlet with the administrators of the village uses various communication patterns. The communication patterns used are, primary (face-to-face), secondary (through radio communication media), linear (one-way communication using radio), and circular (feedback or feedback is needed ). In communicating, of course, there are obstacles experienced by the pesanggrahan administrators. The communication barriers experienced are, semantic (misinterpretation that causes differences of opinion), and technical (lack of infrastructure in the communication process).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how counseling (BK) instrumentation affects students' academic success at MAN 1 Southeast Aceh. Counselors and students from the same school acted as research subjects. This study presents findings and reveals facts using qualitative methods. According to the research findings, the application of BK instrumentation facilitates special guidance and counseling services for students. To meet students' needs, the data available in BK instrumentation is intended to streamline and optimize the provision of counseling services. Student learning outcomes have an overall average score of 81.21, with the highest score of 85.65 and the lowest of 78.50, indicating good academic performance. This indicates that the use of BK instrumentation effectively improves students' academic performance at MAN 1 Southeast Aceh and contributes to the success of various counseling services.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, there needs to be a balance between education and appreciation of local wisdom with the ability to adapt in an increasingly integrated world. One way that can be done is through culture-based projects, such as traditional Nusantara dance training. The implementation of the Project for Personal and Social Responsibility (P5) with the theme of Local Wisdom through Nusantara Dance Training at SMKN 9 Wajo, aims to increase student creativity while introducing them to cultural diversity. This project integrates traditional dance learning with the development of student creativity within a broader cultural framework. This project shows an increase in student appreciation of local culture as well as a better understanding of cultural diversity at the global level. Data were collected through observation and interviews, then analyzed descriptively. This study used a quantitative approach with an experimental design to assess the impact of Nusantara dance training in the Project for Personal and Social Responsibility (P5) on the creativity and understanding of diversity of SMKN 9 Wajo students. The results showed a significant increase in student motivation mastery, highlighting the effectiveness of game-based learning in creating a fun and interactive learning atmosphere.

Abstract

By making it as content, this study sees the Hāfizh Qur'an educational game as a means for students who are undergoing muroja'ah and helps them in memorizing the Qur'an. The students can then improve their memorization of the Quran because they are so excited or entertained. The design and implementation of learning games about the Qur'an and the reasons for the establishment of the Daarul Huffadz Indonesia Islamic Boarding School Citereup branch are the problems that are being researched. The idea and implementation of the Qur'an hafizh educational game at the Daarul Huffadz Indonesia Islamic Boarding School Citeureup branch is the subject of this qualitative research. Field research is this type of research. Data collection methods include documentation, interviews, and observations. The steps of Miles and Huberman data analysis are data collection, data reduction, and data presentation, which are then used in data analysis techniques. The findings of the study show that the educational game of hafizh Al-Qur'an is in the form of a guessing game including the title of the surah and related verses. Entertain, eliminate boredom, improve memory, engaging, and much more. During the implementation of the Hāfizh Qur'an educational game, students use laptops to solve puzzles to compose the names of the surahs in the Qur'an. In the verse continuation game, the ustadzah read one verse first, then continued by the Citeureup branch students in turn. The purpose of the Hāfizh Qur'an educational game is to keep students engaged, facilitate memorization, and encourage the next generation to remember the Qur'an through its content.

Abstract

Supervisi akademik merupakan komponen penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan melalui pengembangan profesionalisme guru. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran dan dampak supervisi akademik terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah melalui studi literatur. Berdasarkan analisis berbagai penelitian, ditemukan bahwa supervisi akademik tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai alat evaluasi, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pembinaan yang mendukung pengembangan keterampilan pedagogis guru. Model supervisi berbasis kolaboratif, yang melibatkan diskusi antara guru dan supervisor, terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan hubungan yang saling mendukung, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran. Penggunaan teknologi dalam supervisi akademik juga memberikan peluang besar untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan fleksibilitas dalam proses pengawasan, meskipun tantangan seperti keterbatasan waktu dan sumber daya masih menjadi hambatan. Secara keseluruhan, supervisi akademik yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan yang tepat dapat berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kualitas pengajaran dan hasil belajar siswa. Namun, untuk mencapai hal tersebut, diperlukan peningkatan keterlibatan aktif guru, pengembangan model supervisi yang lebih kolaboratif, serta pemanfaatan teknologi secara optimal. Artikel ini juga memberikan saran untuk meningkatkan implementasi supervisi akademik, seperti penguatan model kolaboratif, peningkatan pelatihan bagi guru dan supervisor, serta pemberian waktu yang cukup untuk supervisi yang berkualitas.
