Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is concern in publishing the original research articles, review articles from the contributors and the current issues related to multidisipline of education. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan focuses on the following topics: Curriculum development, teacher education and professional development, teacher training, cross-cultural studies, learning, evaluation, English language teaching, counseling, management, quality of education, and the use of communication and information technology, at various levels of education and how to deliver learning. It provides an academic platform for teachers, lecturers, and researchers to contribute innovative work in the field. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is first published in March 2017 and covers much research in all levels of education (primary, secondary, and higher education). Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan become a CrossRef Member since the year 2019. Therefore, all articles published will have a unique DOI number. Beginning from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017), all articles will be published in the English version and Indonesia version. The publication frequency is twice a year in March and October. This journal has been accredited in Grade 4 (Sinta 4) based on the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology No. 158/E/KPT/2021, December 27, 2021.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji faktor-faktor yang dipengaruhi oleh kepemimpinan yang melayani (servant leadership). Setiap pemimpin memiliki gaya kepemimpinan yang berbeda namun tetap memegang peranan penting dalam kepemimpinan. Praktik kepemimpinan yang melayani (servant leadership) juga dapat dilaksanakan pada institusi pendidikan. Sekolah sebagai institusi pendidikan yang menjalankan proses pendidikan dan pembelajaran bagi peserta didik sangat ditentukan oleh praktik kepemimpinan yang dijalankan oleh kepala sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode tinjauan pustaka, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui artikel-artikel dari tahun 2019 hingga 2024. Ada 20 artikel sebagai referensi dari Google Scholar. Hasil telaah artikel ilmiah membuktikan bahwa kepemimpinan yang melayani (servant leadership) berpengaruh positif terhadap kepribadian, komitmen dan karakter guru dan siswa, namun demikian ada sebagian kecil hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Word World, sebuah permainan elektronik yang dirancang untuk mendukung proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran kosakata. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah pada proses pengembangan produk tersebut. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan, dengan mengacu pada konsep pengembangan yang dikemukakan oleh David Jolly dan Rod Bolitho (2011). Tahapan dalam penelitian ini meliputi Identifikasi, Eksplorasi, Realisasi Kontekstual, Realisasi Pedagogis, dan Produksi Fisik.Partisipan penelitian ini terdiri dari 20 siswa kelas VII di SMP N 2 Pontianak serta 1 guru. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan mencakup observasi, kuesioner terbuka, dan evaluasi internal. Aplikasi Hot Potatoes digunakan sebagai platform utama dalam pengembangan produk ini. Produk ini dirancang agar selaras dengan kerangka pengajaran TPACK. Berbagai materi kosakata dari sejumlah buku dan sumber digabungkan dengan aplikasi Hot Potatoes untuk mendukung pembelajaran kosakata dan melengkapi produk yang telah dirancang. Produk dan materi yang dikembangkan telah sesuai dengan kebutuhan target pengguna dan berhasil mencapai tujuan pengembangan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis sistem evaluasi dalam pendidikan Islam dari sudut pandang filosofis. Menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-naratif, metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi literatur dengan membaca teks-teks yang relevan untuk memperoleh data yang diperlukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi dalam pendidikan Islam berfungsi sebagai umpan balik (feedback) atau dikenal dengan istilah muraja’ah terhadap kegiatan pendidikan. Terdapat berbagai model evaluasi yang telah dikembangkan oleh para ahli yang dapat diterapkan dalam mengevaluasi program pendidikan. Namun, model evaluasi yang umum digunakan dalam lembaga pendidikan Islam antara lain adalah: model CIPP (Stufflebeam), model Kirkpatrick, model Scriven, dan Contenance Evaluation Model (Stake), serta beberapa model lainnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pengembangan praktik evaluasi dalam pendidikan Islam. Dengan memahami evaluasi dari perspektif filosofis, pendidik diharapkan dapat merancang sistem evaluasi yang tidak hanya efektif dalam mengukur pencapaian akademis, tetapi juga mendukung pengembangan karakter peserta didik.

Abstract

Aborsi atau bahasa ilmiahnya adalah Abortus Provocatus, merupakan cara yang paling sering digunakan mengakhiri kehamilan yang tidak diinginkan, meskipun merupakan cara yang paling berbahaya. Abortus Provocatus dibagi dalam dua jenis, yaitu Abortus Provocatus Therapeuticus dan Abortus Provocatus Criminalis. Abortus Provocatus Therapeuticus dilakukan atas dasar pertimbangan kedokteran dan dilakukan oleh tenaga yang mendapat pendidikan khusus serta dapat bertindak secara profesional. Sementara Abortus Provocatus Criminalis dilakukan secara sembunyi-sembunyi dan biasanya oleh tenaga yang tidak terdidik secara khusus. Abortus Provocatus Criminalis merupakan salah satu penyebab kematian wanita dalam masa subur di negara-negara berkembang zina yang seharusnya dihukum dengan kriteria Islam. Pelatihan merupakan kegiatan yang dirancang untuk mengembangkan sumber daya manusia melalui rangkaian kegiatan identifikasi, pengkajian serta proses belajar yang terencana. Hal ini dilakukan melalui upaya untuk membantu mengembangkan kemampuan yang diperlukan agar dapat melaksanakan tugas, baik sekarang maupun di masa yang akan datang. Ini berati bahwa pelatihan dapat dijadikan sebagai sarana yang berfungsi untuk memperbaiki masalah pada remaja, mencegah kehamilan di luar nikah, dan tindakan aborsi. Adapun tujuan dari pelatihan ini diantaranya seperti terbinanya umat yang beriman, berilmu dan beramal shalih dalam rangka mengabdi kepada Allah SWT dan mengharap keridloan-Nya. Terciptanya pencegahan aborsi akibat hamil di luar nikah pada remaja melalui program pelatihan dakwah bagi pemuda dan pemudi di Masjid Jami’ Baiturrahim Kp.Poncol Desa Tlajung Udik Kec. Gunung Putri Kab. Bogor. Hasil dari pelatihan ini yaitu menciptakan pemuda dan pemudi yang berakhlaq mulia, taqwa kepada Allah dan menjauhi segala larangan-Nya terutaman dalam kasus perzinahan dan tindakan aborsi

Abstract

This study analyzes the management of Islamic education for inmates at the Class IIB Correctional Institution in Jambi Province. Islamic education plays a strategic role in the rehabilitation process, aimed at fostering spiritual and moral awareness among inmates and reducing recidivism rates. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, using data collected through interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the management of Islamic education is structured, encompassing stages from planning, implementation, to evaluation. Islamic education programs, including Quranic studies, hadith discussions, fiqh, and moral development, were found to effectively improve inmates' religious understanding and behavior. This study contributes to the development of more effective Islamic education management models in correctional institutions, supporting inmate rehabilitation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how cultural Islamic education can shape the character of elementary school students in a multicultural environment. Cultural Islamic education focuses on the application of Islamic values within the context of diverse cultures, emphasizing tolerance, mutual respect, and understanding of differences. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method in several elementary schools that implement cultural Islamic education in a multicultural setting. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, students, and parents, as well as observations of teaching and learning activities in the classroom. The results of the study show that cultural Islamic education has a positive impact on shaping the students' character, particularly in the development of tolerance, empathy, and openness to cultural diversity. Furthermore, cultural Islamic education also helps students to better understand and appreciate cultural and religious differences in their environment, which in turn supports the creation of harmonious social relationships within the multicultural school community. This study recommends strengthening the integration of Islamic values into the elementary education curriculum as an effort to shape a more inclusive and multicultural student character

Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah plays a vital role in shaping the future generations of Indonesia, especially in fostering academic excellence and religious values. However, in Jambi Province, the commitment of madrasah committees to support the programs of Madrasah Aliyah has been hindered by various challenges, such as limited participation, a lack of synergy with school principals, and minimal innovation in communication patterns. This study explores how the leadership behavior of madrasah principals can influence the commitment of committees in Jambi Province. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach with purposive sampling, involving principals, committee members, and teachers. Data was collected through interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The findings show that principals who engage committees in decision-making, encourage open communication, and integrate religious values into their leadership behavior are more successful in enhancing committee commitment. This study contributes to the development of leadership models that incorporate local culture and Islamic values, offering practical guidance for madrasah principals to foster better collaboration and management.

Abstract

Microteaching plays a significant role in enhancing the teaching skills of prospective teachers, particularly in the Professional Teacher Education Program (PPG) at UMS Rappang. This method offers a structured and systematic approach to prepare future educators for real classroom settings by simulating teaching experiences in a controlled environment. Through microteaching, participants practice specific teaching skills such as lesson planning, classroom management, and effective communication. They also receive direct feedback from peers and mentors, allowing them to reflect and improve continuously. The implementation of microteaching at UMS Rappang has shown to boost pedagogical competence, confidence, and readiness among prospective teachers, ultimately contributing to the improvement of educational quality.

Abstract

Problem-Based Learning (PBL) has emerged as an effective pedagogical model in teacher professional education programs (Pendidikan Profesi Guru/PPG) to enhance problem-solving skills among students. This study examines the impact of PBL implementation in PPG on the development of problem-solving abilities in learners. Key findings indicate that PBL fosters critical thinking, collaborative learning, and independent study skills while promoting the practical application of theoretical concepts. Additionally, PBL encourages reflective practices and reduces students' dependency on teachers, enabling them to become self-reliant problem solvers. Recommendations for PPG include integrating simulation-based learning, emphasizing process-oriented assessments, and providing initial mentorship for novice teachers. The study concludes that PBL not only equips future educators with innovative teaching strategies but also positively influences students’ cognitive and social skills, making it a vital approach in modern education.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the teaching experiences of prospective teachers before and after participating in the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) at UMS Rappang. The research utilizes a qualitative descriptive method, collecting data through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Findings indicate significant improvements in pedagogical skills, classroom management, and teaching confidence after the completion of the PPG program. The study highlights the role of professional education in preparing teachers for effective classroom practice and fostering a deeper understanding of teaching methodologies. These findings suggest that PPG plays a vital role in shaping competent and professional educators
