Abstract

Traditional dance faces sustainability challenges amid globalization and the dominance of digital culture, including the Nanas Madu Dance, which represents the local culture of Pemalang Regency. This study aims to analyze the existence of the Nanas Madu Dance at Sanggar Seni Tilamsari and the preservation strategies applied. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a sociological approach to art and SWOT analysis. The findings show that Sanggar Tilamsari plays an active role in sustaining the dance through training, performances, and the use of digital media. However, challenges such as limited dancer regeneration, lack of promotional resources, and the influence of popular culture remain obstacles. Observations reveal that dance sustainability depends not only on aesthetic value but also on community participation and technological adaptation. This study recommends the need for policy support, digital literacy for art practitioners, and collaboration with educational institutions to strengthen local cultural preservation. These findings affirm that traditional arts remain relevant when they can evolve contextually. The Nanas Madu Dance is not merely a relic of the past, but a cultural opportunity for the future that must continue to be revitalized.

Abstract

Gamification contributes positively to increased learning motivation, academic achievement, and 21st century skill development. However, the existing literature tends to be fragmented based on disciplines, types of games, or specific aspects of learning outcomes. This study aims to systematically examine the application of gamification in learning in elementary schools and its impact on students' learning motivation, academic achievement, and skill development. Through the Systematic Literature Review approach, this article analyzes 15 selected empirical research articles obtained from the Scopus and ScienceDirect databases. The results of the analysis show that gamification, both in digital and physical form, consistently improves the motivation, learning outcomes, as well as social, motor, and cognitive skills of elementary school students. Factors supporting success include teacher readiness, student enthusiasm, and infrastructure availability, while key barriers include technology limitations, time, and training. The study also found that gamification has high potential to be strategically integrated into the primary school curriculum. Thus, gamification can be a relevant, adaptive, and transformative pedagogical approach in 21st-century primary education.

Abstract

Religious sentiment-based conflicts pose a serious challenge to maintaining social cohesion in Indonesia, a country historically known for its religious and cultural diversity. Religious sentiments emerging in public spaces—whether through direct interactions or digital media—often trigger horizontal tensions, particularly in socially vulnerable areas. This study aims to examine conflict mitigation strategies based on religious sentiment in selected strategic urban and rural regions prone to latent conflict. Employing a qualitative approach with a multi-site case study design, the research was conducted in five areas: Jakarta, Surakarta, Ambon, Poso, and Tasikmalaya. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with religious and community leaders, participatory observation, and analysis of local policy documents. The findings indicate that effective mitigation is strongly influenced by three key factors: the strength of interfaith social networks, the mediation capacity of local actors, and the presence of adaptive policies that respond to local dynamics. In urban areas, the roles of the Interfaith Harmony Forums (FKUB) and digital religious moderation campaigns were pivotal, whereas in rural areas, local wisdom-based approaches and community reconciliation were found to be more effective. This study recommends strengthening local actor capacities and integrating both structural and cultural approaches in the formulation of religious conflict mitigation policies.

Abstract

This study examines the growth potential and operational constraints of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Lampung Province, Indonesia. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research draws on 120 questionnaire surveys, 15 semi-structured interviews, and regional economic reports. MSMEs serve as a key driver of the regional economy, particularly in agriculture, food processing, and creative industries. However, their development is constrained by limited financial access, restricted market reach, inadequate infrastructure, and insufficient human resource capacity. Quantitative findings analysis through descriptive statistics highlights obstacles related to credit access and operational capacity, while thematic analysis of qualitative data points to institutional gaps, bureaucratic loan procedures, and insufficient support services. Despite these challenges, enterprises that participate in business development programs and cooperative associations tend to show stronger resilience and adaptability. Therefore, the study recommends a comprehensive policy framework emphasizing financial accessibility, infrastructure improvement, broader digital technology adoption, and coordinated institutional support to foster a more resilient MSME ecosystem in Lampung.
