Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the students' mathematics learning outcomes by using a cooperative learning model of team assisted individualization type assisted by hots-based worksheets; and the effect of cooperative learning model type team assisted individualization assisted LKPD based hots on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The method used is an experiment with sampling determined by taking the available classes without doing random sampling. The experimental class and control class were determined by lottery, the results of the draw determined that class V SD Mallengkeri I was the control class and class V was SD Mallengkeri II as the experimental class, namely the class that was given treatment. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive statistical analysis. As a requirement, test requirements were carried out, namely normality test and homogeneity test using Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Levene's test. After that, the hypothesis is tested using the Paired sample test. The results showed that the mean of the experimental class was 81, 88 while the mean of the control class was 68, 88. Based on data analysis with the Paired sample test. which was carried out at the 95% confidence level, the results were 0.000 <0.05, which means H0 is rejected. To find out the difference in student learning outcomes and understanding between the experimental class and the control class, the N-gain test was carried out using the N-Gain formula. Based on the calculation results obtained, for the experimental class of 0.58 which shows an increase in understanding in the medium category. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the use of the Team Assisted Individualization learning model has an effect on the learning outcomes of fifth graders at SD Cluster III Tamalate Makassar

Abstract

At this time the islamic character seemed to decrease with the times. Technological development and the lack of the role of parents in controlling and supervising children due to career busyness are the main things that can affect a child's character. Other factors that influence it are the lack of Islamic character education within the scope of the family itself. A superior Islamic school is expected to be able to guide children to have an Islamic character. In conducting this research, researchers used the method of studying literature, observation and interviews with a qualitative-descriptive approach. This study aims to determine the role of the principal in fostering Islamic character in grade 6 students. Based on research conducted, the headmaster of al-hikmah Elementary School in Indonesia applied the habituation method to fostering the Islamic character of a student. In addition, Islamic values are always attached to every learning activity in school.

Abstract

Abstract The study was conducted to see the improvement of learning the art of plate dance through an explicit instruction in class VIII deaf students at SLB N 1 Sungai Pagu. This research is a classroom action research where the research subjects are deaf students in class VIII and the teacher as a collaborator. The research was conducted in two cycles where the first cycle consisted of four meetings and the second cycle consisted of three meetings. The cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques in the form of tests and non-tests. From the results of the research, the initial ability of students, namely NA reached 30% & and AW reached 25.6%. After taking action in the first cycle, the results of the students' acquisition were 73.3% NA and 66.6% AW. After taking action in cycle II, the results of the acquisition of NA students were 93.3% and AW were 90%. The results of the data show that there is an increase in children's abilities in learning the art of plate dance using an explicit instruction.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to find out kinds of stresses suffered by the students in learning English and to investigate the factors related to students’ stresses in learning English. This research focused on getting the data about selected factors students’ stress in learning English. The researcher chose 8 students who come from 4 bachelor’s degree students, and 4 master’s degree students as the participants of this research. For the 4 bachelor’s degree students, the students were those who were in the 1st semester and got GPA at least B+ (75-76) on the English study program. Then, for the 4 master’s degree students, the students were also those from the 1st semester and got GPA at least B+ (75-76) and the English study program. All the data of this research were collected through open-ended questionnaires and interviews. The results of this research show that the stressed feeling suffered by the students in learning English is such a negative stress since there is not any positive response, and it categorized as stress in the society, and followed by stressed within the person. Then, the researcher found mostly they feel stressed in learning English because of afraid of making mistake in learning English, if they make mistake while learning English in the class, there will be something happened such as the friends will mock at them or underrate them, and so do the lecturer.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems that exist in the field, namely a child with learning difficulties who have difficulty in reading (dyslexia) who is in fourth grade at SD N 08 Sarilamak. Children have problems reading words with KV-KVK patterns so that children cannot follow the lessons at school. This study aims to improve children's ability to read early, especially reading words with a KV-KVK pattern. This research is an experimental study in the form of single subject research (SSR) with an A-B-A research design, the subjects in this study are dyslexic children with problems in early reading. especially in reading words with KV-KVK pattern. Data collection techniques in this study used test instruments and documentation of the ability to read words with KV-KVK patterns in children. Abstract

Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas IV Pada Pembelajaran IPA Tema 9 Kaya Negeriku Di SDN 4 Tallunglipu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV pada pembelajaran IPA Tema 9 Kayanya Negeriku di SDN 4 Tallunglipu melalui model pembelajarn inkuiri. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 4 Tallunglipu, pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2021/2022 yang berjumlah 23 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Penelitian dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus, siklus I sebanyak 2 kali pertemuan dan siklus II sebanyak 2 kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Teknik angket dalam motivasi belajar pada akhir siklus I dan Siklus II serta data hasil Observasi. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan metode inkuiri menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan. Peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa dari kondisi awal sebesar 43,48% atau 10 siswa meningkat menjadi 15 siswa atau 65,22% dan mencapai angka 91,30% dari 75% batasan minimal yang telah ditentukan pada kriteria keberhasilan proses perbaikan pembelajaran pada siklus kedua, penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV pada pembelajaran IPA Tema 9 Kayanya Negeriku di SDN 4 Tallunglipu.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using gadgets on student learning outcomes in Civics learning in Elementary Schools in Cluster VI, Pallangga District, Gowa Regency. This research was conducted in Cluster VI, Pallangga District, Gowa Regency. The research approach is quantitative. This type of research is a quasi-experimental control pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all students in cluster VI, Kec. Pallangga. Sampling technique using random sampling. The sample in this study was class V SD Inpres Watu-Watu totaling 29 people as the experimental class and class V SD Negeri Taipale'leng totaling 28 people as the control class. This type of data collection uses pretest and posttest questions to measure student learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of the difference test / t-test which was previously tested for normality and homogeneity, The statistical results of the t-test of learning outcomes showed the value of sig. (2-tailed) of 0.002 <0.05 then the hypothesis is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using gadgets on student learning outcomes in learning Civics in Elementary Schools of Cluster VI, Pallangga District, Gowa Regency

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase students' understanding of CAD program courses through the application of the case method learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted to find solutions that can be done so that the potential of each teaching participant can be explored optimally. The subjects of this study were the fourth semester students of the Building Engineering Education Study Program, University of Nias, who at the time of this research were contracting 22 CAD courses. The method of measuring the level of success is carried out in three cycles. The method of data collection was carried out by observation, performance tests, quantitative and qualitative data collection, and data analysis techniques of learning implementation. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it was found that the most dominant activity of lecturers in providing lecture material using autocad media could increase student understanding by 0.47 points from cycle 1 to cycle 2 while the increase from cycle 2 to cycle 3 was 0.04 points. Activities in providing explanations to student questions using autocad media can increase student understanding by 0.25 points from cycle 1 to cycle 2 and increase student understanding by 0.27 points. The mastery of students' cognitive learning outcomes increased from cycles 1 to 3, with the percentage of mastery in cycle 1 being 31.82% and cycle 2 being 54.54%, and in cycle 3 being 90.9%. So it is concluded that the application of the case method learning model assisted by autocad media can improve students' understanding of the CAD program material.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parental attention and learning motivation of mentally retarded students. This study uses quantitative methods with the type of correlation research. The population in this study were six children with mental retardation at the SMALB level. Saturated sampling technique or total sampling where all the population is sampled. The data collection technique used a questionnaire technique using the parental attention instrument which contained seven aspects with 22 items while on learning motivation there were six aspects with 17 statement items. The collected data is then searched for data analysis using simple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the data analysis of this study indicate that there is a significant positive relationship between parental attention and learning motivation of mentally retarded children in the high category.

Abstract

This reserach improve early reading skills and also to see whether the provision of flash card can be influential or effective in overcoming reading difficulties in mild mentally retarded students at SLBN Merangin. This study uses an experimental approach in the form of a single subject (SSR) using the ABA design. The subject in this study is a child with mild mental retardation. The target behavior in this study was to improve early reading skills. The data analysis technique used is the visual graph technique. The result of this research is that giving intervention using flash card can improve reading ability in mild mentally retarded students at SLBN Merangin. The results of this study are that in the first stage, the baseline (A1) obtained the final percentage of 47%, the intervention stage and the baseline (A2) had obtained the percentage of 100%.
