Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil pengembangan instrumen tes hasil belajar matematika berbasis pendekatan kontekstual di sekolah dasar ditinjau dari validitas isi, tingkat kesukaran, daya beda butir, efektivitas pengecoh, validitas butir dan reliabilitas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan model 4-D yang melibatkan 65 siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar di kabupaten Soppeng sebagai sampel penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes dan dianalisis dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuntitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa instrumen yang terdiri dari 25 butir soal ini memenuhi aspek validitas isi dengan koefisien konsistensi internal sebesar 1. Dari 25 butir soal yang dikembangkan sebanyak 2 butir soal sulit, 9 butir soal sedang, dan 14 butir soal mudah. Selain itu, 22 butir soal yang memiliki daya beda yang baik dan 3 butir soal memiliki daya beda cukup. Lebih lanjut, terdapat 22 butir soal yang memiliki pengecoh yang berfungsi dan 3 butir soal lainnya memiliki pengecoh yang kurang berfungsi. Dari aspek validitas butir, terdapat 22 butir soal yang valid secara empirik sementara 3 butir soal lainnya direvisi karena tidak valid. Untuk aspek reliabilitasnya, instrumen tes hasil belajar ini telah reliabel dengan koefisien reliabilitas 0,820. Dengan demikian, instrumen tes hasil belajar matematika layak digunakan untuk mengukur hasil belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to estimate the difficulty level of high-level reasoning math problems by comparing the estimated difficulty level of the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) approach and the Iteman program. The estimation of the FGD approach uses a semantic differential scale on a scale of 1-7, while the Iteman program uses version 4.0. The study used a quantitative-comparative approach involving 79 FGDs of students and teachers of SMP/MTs in Soppeng Regency. Each FGD consisted of four people, one teacher and three students of class VIII. The comparative of difficulty level using Scheffe test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the average level of difficulty in the FGD approach had significant similarity with the average level of difficulty in the output of the Iteman program approach. This means that the estimated level of difficulty of the FGD examinees has a similarity with the output of the Iteman program from the response data of the FGD examinees. This shows that examinees  from FGD in assessing the level of difficulty of high-level reasoning questions can be the teacher’s choice in schools other than the Iteman program.

Abstract

This study aims to put the parameters of the problem on a general scale with a group wise design. Placement of questions on a general scale can be interpreted that although the test participants responded to the character of the problem is not the same but the ability of test participants in Competitive Adaptive Testing (CAT) can be compared with each other. Data response question comes from four packages namely package 1, package 2, and package 3 National Exam on mathematics subjects. The total number of questions is 140. The data is analyzed with the Bilog_MG program. The results show that the number of questions meet the Rasch model of 109 questions. The matter can be entered into CAT bank. Although the test participants responded to the problem and the number of questions was not the same but the test scores were comparable

Abstract

This study aims to make design decision support system adaptive to examinee ability to go to college.Decision support systems are made using one parameter logistic model by taking into account the difficulty level of questions adapted to the ability of the examinee. Questions are selected so that the items follow the ability of examinee more accurate assessment of ability with a lesser number of items.CAT a web-based applications require lesser number of items in determining the ability of examinee. College can determine the appropriate characteristics of the ability of examinee acceptance criteria for each department with domain weighting, and then determine the minimum level of capability that will be received and an appropriate amount to be received. Key word: Decision Support System, Computerized Adaptive Testing

Abstract

COMPARISON OF MATHEMATICS LEARNING OUTCOMES OF STUDENTS WITH DIFFICULTY LEARNING THROUGH SCRAMBLE TYPE LEARNING MANIPULATIVE MEDIA WITH REALISTIC MEDIA USING SINGLE RESEARCH SUBJECTS FOR CLASS IV STUDENTS, TANETE RILAU DISTRICTThis type of research is Single Subject Research, so there is no direct control on the independent variables. The number of samples in this study is a single sample. The results showed that students' mathematics learning outcomes using manipulative media scramble type learning for class IV Tanete Rilau District described the fraction concept ability score in children using scramble learning with manipulative media in each phase and had changes, even the changes were reflected in each session. In the pre-intervention phase, the first session had a score of 51.5%, the second session 53.3%, and in the third session 62.9%. With a picture like that, the trend towards the graph shows an increase and is positive. The results of students' mathematics learning by using realistic media scramble type learning showed the score of fraction concept ability in children using scramble learning with manipulative media in each phase had changes, even the changes were reflected in each session. In the pre-intervention phase, the first session had a score of 72.3%, the second session 52.3%, and in the third session 64.9%. With such a picture, the trend towards the graph shows a downward trend. Student learning outcomes through the application of scramble-type learning using manipulative media and realistic media showed that the fraction concept ability test in scramble learning children with the help of appropriate media using realistic media overall level of scramble learning ability increased, especially when giving interventions using manipulative media and media. realistic and the results of the intervention showed a significant increase in the child's fraction concept ability. This is evidenced by the percentage score at baseline (A') which is higher than the percentage score for the intervention (B) and baseline (A).

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the validity of the high-intelligent learner's worksheet. This study helps in producing a worthwhile innovation product used in learning, which is the intelligence-oriented sheet of each learner to increase the learning result. The study uses an exploratory type method that focuses on the multiage-based learner's worksheet with the objective of seeing and measuring in-depth worthiness on the multi-intelligence intelligence learner's worksheet through the expert validator and practitioners. This research can be used as a model for research and development (r & D), so the multi-intelligence intelligence resource worksheet that was developed is worthy of use. In the analysis, there were three validators, consisting of one expert validator and two practitioners. To analyze the feasibility of the multi-intelligence learner's worksheet, we used validation questionnaire. Based on valification analysis and instrument charging data by expert tests and good practitioners of design and materials, it suggests that the multi-intelligence intelligence education worksheet is judged with an average score of 4.66, which is perfectly valid. So it can be concluded that the high-intelligence learners' worksheets can be used in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is how to empower teachers to make credible questions through mentoringmethod. The results of the identification of the problem in making credible questions at Islamic boarding school inSoppeng shows that this mentoring is needed for the teachers to increase their knowledge in understanding crediblequestions through, to improve their skills in making questions based on the indicators, and to improve their skills inanalysing questions qualitatively. The result of this mentoring showed that the implementation of this mentoring wasat Madrasah Tsanawiah Yasrib Islamic Boarding School in Watansoppeng, South Sulawesi. It is one of favouriteschools in Soppeng for elementary graduates. The questions used by teachers have not been arranged well wheremost of the questions are categorized as very bad and do not reflect the activities of productive students. Thismentoring helps them to make good questions, considering the questions theory, good indicators, especially themain problem (stem), and the competency in analysing the problems qualitatively. Long-term planning of mentoringactivities where the teachers have their own standard questions for school exams and other exams. Generally,teachers make 20 sample questions for each subject to be developed further as an incubator question and questionbank with good criteria.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui : 1) pengaruh potensi akademik terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi matriks , 2) pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi matriks , 3) pengaruh kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi matriks, 4) pengaruh potensi akademik, efikasi diri dan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi matriks. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Makassar sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu XI TKJ 1 dan XI TKJ 2 yang berjumlah 65 siswa yang diperoleh menggunakan cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan angket. Teknik analalisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa (1) Secara parsial variabel potensi akademik berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Makassar sebesar 17,6%. (2) Secara parsial variabel efikasi diri berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Makassar sebesar 43,4%. (3) Secara parsial variabel kemandirian belajar berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Makassar sebesar 78,8%. (4) Secara simultan variabel potensi akademik, efikasi diri dan kemandirian belajar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Makassar dengan koefisien determinasi R2 = 0,817 yang berarti potensi akademik, efikasi diri dan kemandirian belajar memberi pengaruh sebesar 81,7% terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Makassar dan sisanya sebesar 18,3% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran proses berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam pemecahan masalah matematika ditinjau dari gaya belajar visual, auditori dan kinestetik. Identifikasi proses berpikir kritis didasarkan atas langkah-langkah berpikir kritis IDEALS yakni Identify, Define, Enumerate, Analyze, List and Self Correct. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 3 peserta didik yang masing-masing memiliki gaya belajar visual, auditori dan kinestetik yang memiliki nilai tertinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan hasil tes peserta didik di Sekolah. Oleh karena itu, triangulasi yang digunakan adalah triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian proses berpikir kritis siswa visual, auditori, dan kinestetik pada langkah identify, enumerate, analyze, list dan self-correct memiliki kesamaan dalam memecahkan masalah berbentuk soal cerita. Perbedaan proses berpikir kritis tersebut paling menonjol terlihat pada langkah define. Perbedaannya terletak pada cara dan saat menjelaskan bentuk akuarium berdasarkan fakta dan alasan logis yang diberikan, perbedaan yang lain terletak pada ketelitian siswa dalam memeriksa kembali jawaban yang diperoleh karena subjek auditori sempat menambahkan catatan dalam jawabannya. Siswa kinestetik dapat dikatakan memiliki proses berpikir kritis lebih baik dibandingkan siswa visual pada langkah define.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika dan penyebab terjadinya kesalahan siswa pada materi bilangan bulat berdasarkan gaya kognitif pada siswa kelasVII SMP Negeri 2 Marioriwawo Kabupaten Soppeng. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskripsi Kualitatif. Prosedur penelitian ini meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan dan analisis. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Marioriwawo Kabupaten Soppeng sebanyak 4 orang siswa. Teknik penentuan subjek yaitu dengan memberikan tes kepada seluruh siswa kelas VII.1 untuk memilih 2 siswa kategori gaya kognitif Field Independent (FI) dan 2 siswa kategori gaya kognitif Field Dependent (FD). Penentuan subjek berdasarkan skor hasil tes Group Embedded Figure Test (GEFT). Penelitian ini mengacu pada empat aspek kesalahan menyelesaikan soal matematika yaitu: kesalahan fakta, kesalahan konsep, kesalahan prinsip dan kesalahan operasi. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tesGroup Embedded Figure Test(GEFT), tes soal materi bilangan bulat dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif Field Independent (FI) cenderung melakukan kesalahan fakta dan kesalahan operasi, sedangkan siswa gaya kognitif Field Dependent (FD) cenderung melakukan kesalahan fakta dan kesalahan operasi. 2) Penyebab kesalahan siswa memiliki gaya kognitif Field Independent (FI): (a) Kesalahan fakta yaitu siswa kurang teliti dalam menuliskan hal yang diketahui dalam soal, (b) Kesalahan operasi yaitu siswa kurang teliti pada saat mengerjakan soal. (3) Penyebab Kesalahan siswa yang memiliki Field Dependent (FD): (a) Kesalahan fakta yaitu siswa kurang teliti dalam menuliskan hal yang diketahui dan ditanyakan dalam soal (b) Kesalahan operasi yaitu siswa kurang teliti pada saat mengerjakan soal.Dari hasil penelitian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika yaitu siswa gaya kognitif Field Independent (FI) dan Field Dependent (FD) melakukan kesalahan fakta dan operasi.
