Beginning from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017), all articles will be published in the English version and Indonesia version. The publication frequency is twice a year in March and October. Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of creative problem solving models assisted by serial images on creative thinking skills. The type of research used in this study is a quasi experimental design type nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of Cluster I, Somba Opu sub-district, Gowa district, totaling 329 students with a total sample of 60 using cluster random sampling technique. The data collection technique used is a test technique to determine the ability to think creatively by giving essay questions. The results of the study based on hypothesis testing about the effect of the Creative Problem Solving model assisted by serial picture media on students' creative thinking skills in the control and experimental class posttest using the independent sample t test, obtained a significant value of 0.00 less than 0.05 so it can be stated that creative problem solving model assisted by serial picture media has an effect on students' creative thinking skills.

Abstract

This research focuses on Construction Of Islamic Education Curriculum In The Philosophy Of Islamic Education Perspective, the method used in this research is library research approach. while the results of the study show that the Islamic education curriculum aims to contribute to achieving comprehensive and integrated development for individual students, opening the veil of talent, willingness and developing desired interests, skills, knowledge, skills, and attitudes; instilling good habits, morals and attitudes and basic skills to gain knowledge; prepare them to assume the responsibilities and roles they assume in society; develop religious, cultural, thought, social, and political awareness in themselves.

Abstract

Writing scientific papers for publication is a major and common requirement for students pursuing postgraduate studies. The purpose of this article is to discuss the experiences of doctoral students in writing scientific papers to be published in reputable journals and what are the challenges of doctoral students (discursive and non-discursive) in writing scientific papers for publication in reputable journals. The findings indicated the undrgraduated students' positive attitude on writing for publication in international journal because many participants are the lecturers and also the teachers. They thought it will be important to publish an article especially in international journal to support their career because they are demanded to publish article regularly. But most of them are not from English department so they found some difficulties related to the language. They find difficulties in translating their L1 to English. They have lack of knowledge about English such as grammar, lack of suitable vocabulary,etc. The doctoral students also found challenges in writing their article. There are two main challenges that the researcher found in this research. They are discursive challenges and no-discursive challeges

Abstract

This reserch aims tofind out the efforts of trachers in building childrens understanding, espciallu honesty characters through traditional games and knowing dende’ games in building understanding of childrens honesty characters in Sawitton kindergarten Pinrang. This research is a descriptive qualitative method that aims to describe objectively. The subcets of research are children aged 5-6 yeats in Sawitto kindergarten Pinrang. It’s consists of 10 childrens. This research uses data collection techniques through observations made tochildren and teachers, interviews with teachers, and documentation. The results of the reserch are based on the observation that the character childrens honesty in traditional game actions, especially dende’ games, includes all indicators (obeying rules or activites while playing. Behavehonesty. Helpers, polite, respecetful, sportsmanlike, etc.Understand several commands simultaneously, understand the rules in game, and take responsibility and admit mistake) are well executed. Achievement of the development of hoenst attitude of children develops very well.

Abstract

Pembelajaran daring masih terdapat pengimplementasian penguatan yang kurang tepat dilakukan oleh guru. Pembatasan aktifitas di luar rumah cukup menambah tugas guru untuk menentukan cara atau metode yang tepat dalam menyampaikan pembelajaran bagi siswa melalui daring dengan menggunakan teknologi seperti HP, laptop, dan gadget. Penggunaan teknologi yang membatasi ruang guru untuk menganalisis perubahan tingkah laku siswa menjadi faktor penghambat bagi guru untuk memberikan penguatan yang dapat menunjang peningkatan perilaku positif siswa dengan segera. Bahkan karena kendala tersebut, terkadang guru hanya mementingkan aspek transfer pengetahuan pada siswa saja.

Abstract

This study discusses improving early reading skills using animated videos in dyslexic students in fourth grade at SD Negeri 22 Koto Lalang. This research was motivated by a problem that the researchers found when conducting observations in the fourth grade of SD Negeri 22 Koto Lalang, Padang City who had difficulty learning to read (dyslexia). Students have difficulty in beginning reading, especially in reading nouns that use the letter E and letter F. The purpose of this study was to prove that the use of animated video media can improve early reading skills in dyslexic students in grade IV SD Negeri 22 Koto Lalang in the city of Padang. This research uses quantitative research methods with experimental research types and uses a single subject research form with an A - B - A design. The research subject used is a dyslexic student in class IV SD Negeri 22 Koto Lalang, Padang City. The data collection technique used is an action test. The data were analyzed using graphic visual analysis. The results of the research that have been carried out show that the initial reading ability increases after being given an intervention using animated video media.

Abstract

Metode Qiroati adalah salah satu metode belajar baca Al-Quran yang langsung mempraktekkan bacaan yang tartil sesuai dengan qoidah ilmu tajwid praktis, sederhana dan juga dapat dilakukan sedikit demi sedikit yang artinya santri tidak berpindah pada halaman selanjutnya apabila santri belum bisa membaca halaman tersebut dengan benar dan lancar. Salah satu hambatan dalam proses belajar membaca Al-Quran pada umumnya adalah pengajar belum menggunakan metode, hanya membaca biasa. Oleh karena itu masih terdapat beberapa santri yang belum lancar dalam membaca Al-Quran karena merasa metode yang digunakan kurang efektif, tidak terstruktur dan terkesan monoton serta membuat santri merasa bosan dalam proses belajar Al-Quran. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui Bagaimana implementasi metode Qiroati dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Quran pada santri TPQ Baiturrahman Karawang. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi metode Qiroati dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Quran pada santri TPQ Baiturrahman Karawang. Sedangkan manfaat yang dapat diambil dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai bahan informasi bagi pengajar dan wawasan terhadap peneliti. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dalam penelitian ini peneliti akan menggambarkan implementasi metode Qiroati dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Quran. Sedangkan sifat penelitiannya adalah bersifat deskriptif. Lokasi yang diteliti adalah TPQ Baiturrahman Karawang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi. Untuk teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode Qiroati dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Quran santri dengan bukti santri memperoleh kategori nilai yang baik ketika tes baca Al-Quran. Pelaksanaan metode Qiroati ini yaitu dengan cara pengajar mencontohkan bacaan yang benar yang kemudian santri membaca bersama-sama. Sehingga dengan metode Qiroati santri dapat mengetahui bagaimana cara membaca yang benar.

Abstract

This study aims to find problems in improving the quality of education by fulfilling the existing infrastructure in schools. This study uses a qualitative method. Data were collected by direct observation to the field. The results of the study show that problems in improving the quality of education are found in the fulfillment of inadequate infrastructure facilities, as for the strategies carried out by school principals in improving the quality of education through the management of infrastructure, namely, inviting parents of students to come to school which aims to carry out socialization regarding the problem of the lack of existing infrastructure in schools in order to improve the quality of education, the next strategy the principal is to partner with industry or companies to design infrastructure needs that must be met by working together in improving the quality of education at MTs Al-i'anah Kosambi Karawang.

Abstract

This study discusses the Management of the PKBM Learning Process in RA Mardhotillah Karawang. PKBM itself is categorized as a non-formal education unit that can provide educational services like other formal education. In addition, this study also aims to describe learning management in playgroups at RA Abata Mardhotillah Karawang. Based on these objectives, it can be translated back into specific objectives, namely to describe learning planning at RA Abata Mardhotillah Karawang, implementation of learning at RA Abata Mardhotillah Karawang, and evaluation of learning at RA Abata Mardhotillah Karawang, as well as factors that become obstacles and support in learning management as well as efforts to overcome the inhibiting factors in learning management. This data collection technique uses interview techniques, observation and documentation. The research method used is by using a qualitative descriptive research method. While data collection was done by using interview, observation, and documentation techniques.

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah sebuah system. Singkatnya, pendidikan saling berhubungan dan didikung beberapa komponen untuk mencapai tujuannya. Salah satu komponan pendidikan adalah lembaga pendidikan. Artikel ini akan menguraikan fasilitas laboratorium bahasa sebagai media pembelajaran terintegrasi. Singkatnya, laboratorium bahasa dengan audiovisual dan multimedia dapat mendukung pendalaman proses pembelajaran bahasa khususnya bahasa inggris sebagai mata kuliah dasar umum di STIE Muhammadiyah Mamuju. Materi yang didukung oleh alat laboratorium bahasa meliputi stereo headset, tape repeater, LCD Proyektor, papan tulis, computer, LCD televice, audio box, video, CD/DVD-ROM, pendingin ruangan, karpet, meja dan kursi. Mengingat pentingnya peran Lembaga Bahasa, diharapkan semua lembaga pendidikan memiliki fasilitas ini. Lembaga yang telah memiliki fasilitas laboratorium bahasa diharapkan dapat mengelola fasilitas tersebut dengan baik agar proses pembelajaran tetap efektif dan optimal.
