Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the role of literacy in increasing reading interest in 3rd grade elementary school students. The research method used in this research is qualitative research. The informants of this study were the principal, the homeroom teacher, and 3rd grade elementary school students. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation The collected data is then processed through the phases of data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results showed that the literacy program was good at increasing reading interest in 3rd grade elementary school students. The role of literacy is very important in increasing students' interest in reading in Grade III. The literacy program is phased, with an emphasis on the habituation phase (15-minute reading), the development phase (answers to enriching books), and the learning phase (linking literacy in all subjects). From this, it can be concluded that the better the implementation of the school literacy movement supports the increase in the students' interest in reading. Therefore, the implementation of literacy in primary schools needs to be improved, not only for reading skills but also for other literacy.

Abstract

Learning is currently slowly leading to a major change, namely the industrial revolution 4.0. The purpose of this study was to describe parents' learning perceptions in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era and students' learning perceptions in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era at SDN 222 Inpres Pali, Tana Toraja Regency. The approach used in this research is a mixed methods model with a sequential exploratory model. The mixed methods sequential exploration model is a research method that combines qualitative and quantitative approaches to obtain valid data. The data in this study consisted of two data sources, namely primary and secondary data. Qualitative results were obtained in a structured way, the researcher conducted interviews with 4 parents, representatives of guardians of lower and upper grade students. Also, among the students involved, there were 4 people representing upper and lower classes. Several themes were formulated in the results of the study to represent the responses of the informants, including school descriptions, usage, understanding, learning practices, positive and negative impacts, and views on learning with technology and communication tools. Quantitative data from questionnaire data. From the results and discussion of parents' and students' perceptions of learning in the age of Industrial Revolution 4.0, SDN 222 Inpres Pali students and parents to use technology, communication and information tools positively, to learn with technology and means of communication had a positive impact on parents and students. The biggest benefit is to help students overcome learning difficulties, such as teachers and parents.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the many shortcomings that appear, such as students are reluctant to take part in this sport physiology course for various reasons and factors so that both in terms of achieving educational goals, increasing student fitness and developing student movement skills it becomes difficult to fulfill and the learning methods applied. by the lecturer at the location where the activity took place which made students lazy to take part in learning sports physiology courses again, so that students were very enthusiastic and afraid (worried) every time the learning of sports physiology courses took place. This study aims to determine the level of motivation of students at Singaperbangsa Karawang University, Health and Recreational Physical Education Study Program. The design of this research is descriptive research. The method used in this research is a survey method. The population in this study were Semester 3 students at Singaperbangsa University Karawang, Health and Recreational Physical Education Study Program. The subjects used in this study were 100 Semester 3 students. The data collection technique was a questionnaire (questionnaire). The results showed that the level of motivation of Semester 3 students at Singaperbangsa Karawang University Physical Education and Recreation Study Program towards learning sports physiology subjects was in the LESS category with a percentage of 55.45%. Intrinsic motivation with sub-indicators which include Belief, Desire, and Self-confidence has a percentage of 54.84% in the LESS category. For extrinsic motivation with sub indicators which include Environment, Family, and Association has a percentage of 55.98% in LESS.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems that researchers found at SLB Al-Ishlaah Padang, a deaf child with the initial A has not been to recognize object in the surrounding environment. Based on this, this study aims to improve the ability to recognize objects correctly and see if this flip cahrt media can have a positive impact. This study uses an experimental approach in the form of singgle subject research (SSR) with an A-B-A design. The assessment in this study is consistent with measuring the correct number of objects. The results of this study indicate that the ability of deaf children to recognize objects increases, in the initial baseline conditions carried out four times the child is only able to know four objects, namely mirrors, keys, tables and clocks correctly. In the intervention condition or when given the observed treatment. During the five meetings the child’s ability increased, the child was able to recognize six objects, namely lamps, mirrors, keys, tables, clocks and brooms. Then, at the final baseline the child’s ablity to recognize objects remained good. The result of this study prove that the use of flip chart media can improve the ability to recognize objects in deaf children.

Abstract

This study purposes to (1) determine the implementation of al-Qur'an learning for the Elderly Pesantren Nurul Iman of Karanganyar, (2) describe the implementation of worship fiqih learning for the elderly, and (3) explain the process of character education for the Elderly Pesantren Nurul Iman of Karanganyar. This research was conducted in August 2020 – January 2021. The subjects in this study were all asatidz (teachers) and elderly students of Pesantren Nurul Iman in Karanganyar Regency. Meanwhile, the selected research informants were caregivers, asatidz, students, local government and pesantren education experts. This research applied qualitative methods and case studies. The results reveal that: (1) The implementation of learning the Qur’an for the elderly at Pesantren Nurul Iman Karanganyar is carried out using the Iqro method and the tsaqifa method. Class grouping is based on the individual abilities of elderly students and does not use the average model as the class system in general. This shows that learning the Qur'an for the elderly needs to have attention in the abilities of each elderly student, so that the superior learning method is very relevant to use. (2) The implementation of worship fiqh learning for the elderly at Pesantren Nurul Iman Karanganyar is carried out with the bandongan model. To evaluate the success of learning fiqh of worship, a practicum method is used, namely the practice of fiqh of worship, especially the practice of pasolatan fiqh. With this mentoring model, the process of learning fiqh worship becomes effective, not only in fiqh knowledge but also in worship practices. (3) The process of character education for the elderly at the Elderly Pesantren of Nurul Iman Karanganyar is carried out through integrating character education in rituals and dzikr, sports and arts, in addition to character building through lectures delivered in each study activity. This shows that character education can be effective if it is carried out with affective activities not just cognitive.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari bagaimana pengaruh dari Pelatihan (X1), Motivasi Kerja (X2) dan Disiplin Kerja (X3) terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y) PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk. Cabang Medan. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan tetap PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk. Cabang Medan yaitu 97 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan data kuantitatif yang diolah dengan SPSS versi 26.0 dengan model regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pelatihan (X1), Motivasi Kerja (X2) dan Disiplin Kerja (X3) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk. Cabang Medan baik secara parsial maupun simultan . Koefisien determinasi Adjusted R Square menunjukkan sebesar 81,5% dijelaskan dan diperoleh dari Pelatihan, Motivasi Kerja, dan Disiplin Kerja sedangkan sisanya diperoleh dari faktor lainnya yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

The research aime toproduce a floor gymnastics learning module assisted by a quick response code for class eight grade students that is valid and practicial. This research is a development research using the ADDIE model. This model consists of five stages, namely the analysis stage (analysis), the planning stage (Design), the development stage (Developing), and evaluation (evaluation). Data collection techniques in the research used interviews, observations, and questio,nnaeeires. The data analysis technique used the validty steps of linguist getting a score of0,80, material expert getting a score 0,89, and media expert getting a score of 0,90 base on the result of the analysis of the three experts, namely linguists, material expert, and experts the media showa that the floor excercies learning module with q quick response code has met the valid criteria. Furthermore, the practicial analysis teacher and of small group stundents got a score of 83,72% so the practicality of the floor excercies learning module assisted by a quick response code for the eight class student of SMP Negeri 5 Lubuklinggau was Categorized as vary strong in practicalitiy. So it can be concluded the the floor gymanastics learning module assited by a quick response code has met the b=valid and practicial and can be used in learning.

Abstract

This study aims: (1) To determine the effect of learning using Phet simulation media on the critical thinking skills of Yokiwa State High School students. (2) Knowing the effect of learning using Phet simulation media on the learning outcomes of Yokiwa State High School students. (3) Knowing the effect of learning using Phet simulation media on critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of Yokiwa State High School students. Data collection using questionnaires and test instruments. The results showed that in learning using Phet's simulation media on critical thinking skills, there were differences that could be seen from the increase in critical students in the pattern of solving physics problems on Ohm's Law material and the series of Barriers. And there are differences in learning outcomes between before learning and after learning. It can be seen that learning outcomes after the implementation of Phet simulation are higher, this indicates that there is a significant effect on learning using Phet simulation media. From the results of linearity test data processing, it is known that the data has a linear pattern between learning using Phet (X) simulation media on critical thinking skills (Y1) and student learning outcomes (Y2) in class XII SMA Negeri Yokiwa. The deviation from linearty sign indicates this. > 0.005 then there is a significant linear relationship between the independent and dependent variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the problems and needs of students studying English at the Management Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. A descriptive qualitative design was used in this study. The target audience for this survey is students in management programs. Ten participants were enrolled in this study. Samples were collected using a direct sampling technique. Researchers collected data using interviews and documents. Research has shown that the problems students face in learning English in management programs are lack of vocabulary and difficulty in pronouncing words in English. Students also need knowledge to increase their vocabulary and understanding of English grammar so that they can speak fluently for future work. We need more interesting, understandable and relevant speaking skills and materials

Abstract

This study aims to investigate: (1) the Influence of leaderships style toward Teachers’ Work Motivation at Junior High Schools in Bandar Sribhawono Distric, East Lampung Regency, (2) the Influence of work environment toward Teachers’ Work Motivation at Junior High Schools in Bandar Sribhawono Distric, East Lampung Regency, and (3) the influence of leaderships style and work environment toward teachers’ work motivation at Junior High Schools in Bandar SribhawonoDistric, East Lampung Regency. This was a quantitative study. The research population comprised teachers at Junior High Schools in Bandar Sribhawono Distric, East Lampung Regency. The sample consisted of 35 respondents from 9 Junior High Schools in Bandar SribhawonoDistric, East Lampung Regency. The research instruments were a questionnaire, observation, and interview. The data analysis technique in the study was multiple regression analysis. The results of the study are as follows. (1) There is a significant and positive influence of leadership style toward teachers’ work motivation. It can be seen from the result of TCount is 1,689 greater that Ttabel is 1,689 and the significant value was 0,000 at the significant level of 5% (0,05). So it can be said that 0,000<0,05. The influence value of leadership style toward teachers’ work motivation is 43.2%. (2)There is a significant and positive influence of work environment toward teachers’ work motivation. It can be seen from the result of TCount is 7,812 greater that Ttabel is 1,689 and the significant value was 0,000 at the significant level of 5% (0,05). So it can be said that 0,000<0,05. The influence value of work environment toward teachers’ work motivation is 39,0%. (3) There is a significant and positive influence of leadership style and work environment toward teachers’ work motivation. It can be seen from the result of FCount is 31,112 greater that Ttabel is 2,247 and the significant value was 0,000 at the significant level of 5% (0,05). So it can be said that 0,000<0,05. The influence value of leadership style and work environment toward teachers’ work motivation is 66,0%.
