Abstract

This study aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of teacher perceptions of principals 'leadership and motivation to propel teachers' performance in learning. This research method is survey research. The subjects of this study were 80 teachers taken randomly at Tambun-Bekasi 2 High School. Data was collected by questionnaire instruments using skla likert. The validity of the data is obtained by validity and reliability, all data has a normal distribution. The results of the study showed that teachers 'perceptions of principals' leadership had a significant influence on teacher performance in learning. Likewise the motivation of teaching gives a significant influence on teacher performance in learning. The coefficient of determination (R)2 is the teacher's perception of the principal's leadership and teaching motivation has a less strong relationship to teacher performance in learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify and explore the aspects that encourage and inhibit students who do non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) in seeking help. The research method used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach to determine participants' subjective experiences. Researchers conducted in-depth interviews with students aged 20-21 who had done NSSI. The participant-checking technique carries out the method of strengthening the credibility of the data. The results of the interpretive phenomenological analysis identified five themes in the participants' experiences, including self-awareness, self-disclosure, mental health literacy, stigma, and social influence. Awareness of the problem, positive expectations of self-disclosure, and knowledge and belief in the availability of help can be the impetus for seeking help. These aspects interact with stigma and social influence, so the decision to seek help becomes complex. This study provides information about the importance of mental health literacy and strengthening in dealing with negative stigma about people with mental health problems.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe how the ability to read short verses of Surah Al-Ikhlas for early childhood 5-6 years in Harapan Ibu Sungai Baung Kindergarten, Sarolangun Regency, Jambi Province, how to implement a religious center learning in Harapan Kindergarten , Ibu Sungai Baung, Sarolangun Regency and how implementation of religious center learning in improving the ability to read short verses of Surah Al-Ikhlas for early childhood in the Harapan Kindergarten of Ibu Sungai Baung, Sarolangun Regency, Jambi Province. This study uses a qualitative approach, which is a method used to find the broadest knowledge of the object of research at the time the research is carried out. The approach used in this research is descriptive research approach. The findings and analysis of the research are, 1) The ability to read short paragraphs of letters for early childhood in the Harapan Kindergarten of Ibu Sungai Baung, Sarolangun Regency 2) Learning Center for Early Childhood Religion at the Harapan Kindergarten of Ibu Sungai Baung, Sarolangun Regency. 3) Learning Center for Early Childhood Religion at Kindergerten of Harapan Ibu Sungai Baung, Sarolangun Regency In general, learning at religious centers improves the ability to read short verses of Surah al-Ikhlash in early childhood 5-6 years

Abstract

The aims of this study to (1) describe the use of norm strata in Chairil Anwar’s collection of poetry Deru Campur Debu, (2) describe the meaning of the use of norm strata analysis in Chairil Anwar's collection of poetry Deru Campur Debu. This research is a type of descriptive analysis. In this study, reading and note-taking techniques was employed in obtaining the data. The data analysis techniques used are heuristic and hermeneutic.The results of the study showed that the five layers of norms in the poetry Deru Campur Debu by Chairil Anwar were one interconnected unit. The dominant sound layer in the poetry Deru Campur Debu were the a and u assonance. The layers of meaning in a collection of poetry contains stories about struggle, love, divinity, and tragedy in human life. The intrinsic and extrinsic layers in the poetry Deru Campur Debu were the setting of time and atmosphere. The layers of the world described in the collection of poetry were spirit, independent, generous, loyal people. The meaning of the poetry Deru Campur Debu were to invite the reader to be enthusiastic in the struggle, get closer to God, not give up in findingthe goals, give sincere love, self-reflection, solidarity, and always be consistent in making decisions.Based on the results of this study, hopefully further researchers can review more expansive by using other approaches, both stylistic and semiotic approaches.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a difference in the simultaneous mastery of vocabulary and speaking skills of students who follow the dialogue method with android-based image media and those who follow the dialogue method without media. The type of research used is Quasi Experimental Design with the type of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this research is all elementary schools in Buntu Batu DistrictThe research sample was 20 students of class III SDN 89 URU and 20 students of class III SDK TO'PAE, using cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out using test techniques to determine vocabulary mastery in the form of multiple-choice questions and oral speaking skills tests. The results of the research based on descriptive analysis showed that the control class was 85,500 and the control class was 55,750. While the results of the inferential analysis indicated that the dialogue method with android-based image media had simultaneous differences in vocabulary mastery and speaking skills with a sig value of 0.00<0.05. The results of the Manova test. It means that the dialogue method with android-based image media is better than the dialogue method without the media.

Abstract

This research is used the effect of work motivation performance of elementary school teachers in the fulfillment of competitive human resources in the development of science and technology as well as substantial aspects, namely spiritual in order to be able to produce quality products. To avoid the rampant degradation of character, it is necessary to implement character education management in educational institutions. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of character education management through the principal's academic supervision on the performance of elementary school teachers. This research uses qualitative methods. Qualitative research is research that presents data with a description. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation methods. This type of research is field research. Data analysis consists of three components, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of research, the implementation of character education management is integrated in school activities, namely the principal's academic supervision on the performance of elementary school teachers. Character education management activities are carried out in order to achieve the vision and mission of the school. So, teacher work motivation is an encouragement that excites the teacher's personality to play an active role in achieving learning goals. The encouragement comes from other people or comes from oneself. The process of the emergence of teacher work motivation is a combination of the components of needs, encouragement, goals and rewards

Abstract

Art Education is an educational program that uses art as a medium or a tool in the process of education and learning. Art in the context of education is used as object or focus study to achieve educational objectives that humanize human beings. This article analyzes conceptually about local wisdom discourse in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in the context of art education. The results indicated that local wisdom-based art education has an important and strategic role in cultural conservation and development projects, as well as a crucial agent in shaping human characters as that have an reciprocatively, creative, and productive attitude. Through an appreciation and creative creation activities in the implementation of art education, local wisdom in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 can be saved and developed.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the teaching methods used by the English teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Sengkang and how the students perceived those methods. Sengkang served as the location, and a qualitative research design was applied. Three instruments were used in this research, which was a total purposive sampling. The first was an observation checklist for teachers who are instructing online learning. (2) interviewing teachers to learn about their tactics, and (3) interviewing students to see how they view teachers' strategies The study's findings showed that: 1) Three different teaching methods were used by the teachers in online instruction. There were discussions, stories, and dialogues. Because it is based on a manual and is simple to practice online, teachers adopt this technique. Other tactics are occasionally employed by teachers, but they are uncommon because they are ineffective while teaching online. 2) The study's findings demonstrate that all of the teachers' online learning tactics were supported by students' perceptions of those strategies. Students believed that using the tactics in online learning was successful in assisting them in understanding the subject matter. Additionally, pupils are engaged and readily understand the subject when it is presented through the teacher's chosen media.

Abstract

The school curriculum assists students in developing the knowledge, skills, attitudes, values, and morals needed to participate in community life at the local, national and global levels. This study aims to determine the implementation of Social Science learning in forming students' character in elementary schools. This research is a literature review research using the Google Scholar search engine with a total of 68 articles. The results obtained 11 articles that were by the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results showed that the process of implementing or implementing Social Science learning was carried out properly by the goals of national education and then carried out character education or formed the character of elementary school students by the cultural character of the local community. However, there are several obstacles such as the problem of assessing attitudes and environmental factors, so the solution to overcome the problem is to make an assessment format and install monitoring cameras in every hallway and classroom.

Abstract
