Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to reveal the effect of teaching strategy (organized content: using review and epitome versus conventional text book) toward student’s achievement in reading mechanical engineering drawing subject, and to determine whether students’ cognitive styles affected instruction outcomes. The factorial 2 x 2 research design was used in this study.  The subjects were all students who registered in the first semester of 2004/ 2005 for Mechanical Drawing Class (Menggambar Teknik 1) consisting of 57 students, and randomly divided into two classes. The subjects were tested using Group Embedded Figures Test to reveal their ”field dependent or field independent” cognitive styles. The achievement test in drawing reading was used to determine the effectiveness of teaching strategy. The result of this study indicated that organized content using epitome and review offered viable teaching strategy for teaching drawing reading in mechanical drawing subject. Student cognitive style (field independent or field independent) has significant effect on their learning achievement; however, there was no interaction between the teaching strategy and students’ cognitive styles on the instruction outcome. Abstract

PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN IPA BERBASIS CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING TERHADAP KREATIVITAS SISWA SMPAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis creative problem solving (CPS) terhadap kemampuan kreatif siswa kelas VII SMP di Gunungkidul. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan populasi siswa kelas VII SMP di Kabupaten Gunungkidul yang masih menerapkan Kurikulum 2013 pada Semester 2 Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Sampel sebanyak tiga sekolah yang ditentukan berdasarkan stratified cluster random sampling, yakni SMP Negeri 1 Wonosari untuk sekolah kategori tinggi, SMP Negeri 1 Semin untuk sekolah kategori sedang, dan SMP Negeri 1 Paliyan untuk sekolah kategori rendah. Penentuan kelas eksperimen dan kontrol pada masing-masing sekolah dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Kelas eksperimen diberikan perlakuan pembelajaran dengan model berbasis CPS dan kelas kontrol diberikan perlakuan pembelajaran dengan model discovery learning. Variabel Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan kreativitas adalah tes uraian terbuka. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t sample independent. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang positif pembelajaran IPA berbasis CPS terhadap kemampuan kreativitas siswa.Kata kunci: creative problem solving, discovery learning,kreativitasAbstractThis study was aimed at analyzing the effects of creative problem solving-based learning on the creative abilitIES of seventh-grade students in Gunungkidul. The study used a quasi experimental method with the population of seventh-grade students of the junior high school in Gunungkidul Regency that applied Curriculum 2013 in Semester 2 of the Academic Year 2015/2016. The samples were determined by stratified cluster random sampling including SMP Negeri 1 Wonosari for the high school category, SMP Negeri 1 Semin for the medium school category, and SMP Negeri 1 Paliyan for the low school category. The determination of the experiment and control class in each school was done by cluster random sampling technique. The experimental classeswere given treatment using creative problem solving-based learning while the control classes were given treatment using the discovery learning model. The instrument was an open-ended test used to measure the creativity level of the students. The data were analyzed qualitatively. The results show that there was a positive effect of creative problem solving-based learning on students’ creative abilities.Keywords: creative problem solving, discovery learning,students’ creativity

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kelayakan dan mengidentifi kasi kendala yang dihadapidalam menggunakan software AnBuso. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode RD. Data dikumpulkanmelalui dokumentasi, kuesioner, dan wawancara. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Penelitian inimenghasilkan produk berupa software AnBuso yang dapat dimanfaatkan guru dalam melakukananalisis butir soal secara praktis dan aplikatif. Aspek yang dinilai sangat layak adalah kepraktisan dankemudahan, substansi isi, dan kebermanfaatan. Aspek yang dinilai layak adalah tampilan. Kendalayang dihadapi dalam menggunakan software adalah penguasaan guru terhadap program MicrosoftExcel masih kurang. Guru juga kurang terbiasa melakukan analisis butir soal karena pemahamanterhadap konsep analisis butir soal yang masih terbatas

Abstract

FAKTOR DETERMINAN PROFESIONALISME GURUAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualifikasi pendidikan terhadap profesionalisme guru; sikap inovatif terhadap profesionalisme guru, etos kerja terhadap profesionalisme guru; dan pengaruh kualifikasi pendidikan, sikap inovatif, dan etos kerja secara simultan terhadap profesionalisme guru IPS SMP di Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kausal-komparatif yang bersifat ex post facto dengan melibatkan 119 guru IPS tingkat SMP, baik sekolah negeri maupun swasta, yang mengajar di Kabupaten Gowa. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan hipotesis penelitian diuji dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualifikasi pendidikan, sikap inovatif, dan etos kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profesionalisme guru. Besarnya sumbangan efektif kualifikasi pendidikan, sikap inovatif, dan etos kerja secara simultan terhadap perubahan profesionalisme guru IPS tingkat SMP di Kabupaten Gowa adalah 46,50%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, kualifikasi pendidikan guru, sikap inovasi, dan etos kerja perlu ditingkatkan agar profesionalisme guru meningkat melalui penyesuaian kualifikasi pendidikan yang dimiliki dengan standar minimum yang telah ditetapkan pemerintah dan melanjutkan pendidikan yang sesuai/linear dengan mata pelajaran yang diampu sehingga dapat lebih fokus/kompeten dalam bidang tersebut.Abstract This study was aimed at determining the effects of educational qualifications on teacher professionalism; innovative attitude on teacher professionalism, work ethic on teacher professionalism; and the influence of educational qualifications, innovative attitudes, and work ethic simultaneously on the professionalism of social science junior high school teachers in Gowa District. This study was an ex-post facto causal-comparative research involving 119 social science teachers of the junior high school, both public and private, teaching in Gowa District. The data were collected using questionnaires and research hypotheses were tested using multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that educational qualifications, innovative attitudes, and work ethic have significant effects on the teacher professionalism. The amount of effective contributions of educational qualification, innovative attitudes, and work ethic simultaneously to the change of professionalism of junior high school teachers in Gowa is 46.50%. Based on the results, teacher education qualification, innovation attitudes and work ethics need to be improved so that teacher professionalism increases through adjustment of educational qualification at the minimum standards set by the government and continuing education that is linear with the subjects that can be more focused/competent.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to find out a networking model between vocational schools and the best matching stakeholders. The study is conducted in vocational schools in the province of Yogyakarta covering a range of three years. The study is research development in design. Data sources are parties from the world of work, school principles, and vocational school development team. Data collection is conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is descriptive. Research findings show: (1) The networking model developed in the study is effective for obtaining data and information about the needs of the work fields; and (2) Schools have been able to translate data and information acquired from the fields in the form of operational activities including the persons in charge. When schools are able to further develop this ability to other sources of data and information, it is expected that the schools will be more responsive towards the growth and advancement of the needs of the work fields. Therefore, quality and relevance problems of graduates can be solved

Abstract

The purpose of this policy study was for identifying database thatcould be used to develop a school information system (SIS) and foridentifying external and internal stake holders that could be used asdata and information to be filed in SIS. The results of the study couldbe used to make recommendation for schools about the merits ofbuilding an SIS, intranet, and internet system. As a case study, thisresearch was held in State Senior High School 1, Jetis, Bantul. Datawere gathered from interviews and documentation. Evaluative analysiswas used to yield research results and descriptive analysis was used toformulate the recommendation to be extended to the schools. Dataanalyses and discussion brought about these conclusions andrecommendation:(1) Structure database were available that could beused to develop an SIS, (2) Those database could be categorized intospecific data and information about the institution, curriculum,school’s infrastructure, teachers, instruction, grades, students, newstudent admission process, alumnus, school’s library, worker, andschool’s monetary, (3) Teachers, students, functionaries of StateSenior High School 1, Jetis and the public could access data andinformation kept in the SIS, and (4) The schools may be expected tobuild an SIS, intranet, and internet.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan atribut butir soal; kemampuan peserta menjawab butir soal; penyekoran model Rasch dan Partial Credit; serta nilai fungsi informasi model Rasch dan Partial Credit tes matematika. Metode penelitiannya adalah retrofitting dengan subjek peserta ujian nasional matematika SMP di Kabupaten Bantul. Objeknya berupa butir dan respons butir peserta. Hasilnya adalah pertama, atribut yang mendasari butir soal ada 47 yang terdiri atas empat atribut isi, 36 atribut proses, dan tujuh atribut keterampilan; kedua, kemampuan tertinggi peserta ada pada butir soal statistika dan peluang, diikuti aljabar dan geometri, sedangkan kemampuan terendah pada butir soal bilangan; ketiga, tingkat kesulitan tertingi model Rasch terletak pada bilangan, aljabar, serta statistika dan peluang dan terendah pada geometri dan pengukuran, sedangkan tertinggi pada model Partial Credit terletak pada threshold 2, diikuti threshold 1, dan terendah pada threshold 3; serta keempat, nilai fungsi informasi model Partial Credit lebih baik dan akurat daripada model Rasch.

Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in the physical fitness of students studying through tactical games model and students who learn through conventional learning model and to understand the interaction between the learning model with learning motivation towards physical fitness. The method used in this study is a research method experiment with a 2x2 factorial design, data collection techniques for motivation to learn using a questionnaire, to use the physical fitness Physical Fitness Test Indonesia's equivalent of high school and for hypothesis testing using ANOVA two ways. Participants in this study were students of SMK TKR NU Kaplongan Indramayu many as 276 people with a sample of 74 people, for the determination of the sample using Taro Yamane formula and sampling using simple random sampling.The results stated there are differences in the physical fitness of students studying through tactical learning model and students who learn through conventional learning modeland there is no interaction between the learning model with learning motivation towards physical fitness.MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TAKTIS DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR TERHADAP KEBUGARAN JASMANI SISWA SMKAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kebugaran jasmani kelompok siswa yang belajar melalui model pembelajaran taktis dan kelompok siswa yang belajar melalui model pembelajaran langsung, serta interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar terhadap kebugaran jasmani.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian true eksperimen dengan desain faktorial. Populsi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Nahdlatul Ulama Kaplongan Indramayu sebanyak 276 orang dengan sampel sebanyak 74 orang, teknik pengambilan sampel dengan random sampling. Instrumen penelitian untuk motivasi belajar menggunakan angket dan untuk kebugaran jasmani menggunakan Tes Kebugaran Jasmani Indonesia untuk Sekolah Mengah Atas sederajat.Pengujian hipotesis dengan uji anova dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa kebugaran jasmani kelompok siswa yang belajar melalui model pembelajaran taktis lebih baik daripada kebugaran jasmani kelompok siswa yang belajar melalui model pembelajaran langsung dan tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar terhadap kebugaran jasmani.
