Abstract

This research was motivated by the existence of behavioral change phenomena that have occurred in children aged 5-6 years in recent years who have been influenced by films, especially cartoons. This study aims to determine the impact of cartoon films on children's behavior. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. The subjects in this study were children aged 5-6 years who were in BTN West Pagutan, Mataram as many as 20 people. Data were collected through a questionnaire metho The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed that the cartoons that were often watched by children at BTN Pagutan Indah Mataram were Boboboy, Shiva, Adit and Sopo Jarwo and Upin and Ipin. Watching movies will greatly affect the behavior of children. The impact of cartoons on the behavior of children at BTN Griya Pagutan Indah Mataram, namely changes in behavior towards negative ones such as being lazy to study and preferring to watch while at home, Then behave aggressively such as fighting with his friends, often doing bicycle jumping scenes, bicycle racing, running and jumping both at home and at school. As well as often unclear emotions, and mocking each other. The positive impacts for children such as increasing children's creativity, and making it easier for children to speak Indonesian and Malaysian languages.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low speaking ability of children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Setuwi Jati. The purpose of this study was to find out how to improve children's speaking skills through picture series media. This a qualitative research with a case study approach. The subjects in this study were five children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Setuwi Jati, Mertak Kacan Village, Pujut, Central Lombok. Data were collected through interview, observation and documentation methods. Analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed that children's storytelling skills can be increased through the steps of using serial picture media as follows: children listen to the teacher tell stories using picture series media, children are given the opportunity to tell stories in front of the class using serial image media in turn, after that the children are asked to This sequence of picture stories can be seen from the increase in the storytelling ability of children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Setuwi Jati which occurred, where the score before the action was 134 (27.92%) and in the first cycle the score was 201.5 (41 ,98%) with a maximum score of 480. The increase in score from before the action to the first cycle of action reached 67.5 (14.06%). In the second cycle of action it reached a score of 374 (77.92%) with a maximum score of 480. The increase in storytelling ability from the first cycle to the second cycle reached 172.5 (35.94%).

Abstract

The purpose of research to expand child social skill 5-6 years old start from playing snak dragon traditional at KB Qolbu Lebai start from playing dragon snake at KB Qolbu Lebai Sandar.kind of this research is subjeck development research, this reaserch is group B consists of 8 children’data collection techniq in research using observation techniq, data analysis tekhniq using quantitative analysis. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. There are 5 steps in this traditional dragon snake game, namely: (1) children who act as dragons line up neatly to the back and children who act as parents stand at the front as carriages (2) then the dragon snakes around the mother while singing the dragon song (3) after the song is finished singing maa one child is caught inside carriage (4) after that, then the mother negotiates about her child being caught after that she chooses the mother and stands behind the mother and then the song is sung again until the dragon is finished. (5) after finish so the mather have the least child wiil be catch most tail until tail caught so the game is finish the playing. The reaserch shows that was the stage of development I reached 29,50% while in development II began to see an increased percentage 37,8% and enhanced optimally at the III stage of development with percentage 56,87% based on the research can make conclution that with the traditional game of dragon snake in development with step by step right up to can increase the social capacities 0f 5-6 year old children at di Kb Qolbu Lebai Sandar year 2021.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to recognize hijayyah letters using the iqra' method in children aged 5-6 years in the Sayang Daye neighborhood, Sayang Sayang village, Mataram City. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were children aged 5-6 years who revealed 3 children. Data were collected through observation and documentation methods. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The steps for using the iqra' method that can improve the ability to recognize the hijayyah letter in children aged 5-6 years are: (a) the introduction of the hijayyah letter, (b) the use of the iqra' method. The results obtained by the researchers obtained average results of 54%, 72% and 65% during April 2021. The indicator of the ability to recognize hijayyah letters in children aged 5-6 years in the Sayang Daye environment shows that two children are in the developing category as expected (BSH) and one child was in the category of starting to develop (MB). The conclusion is that the use of the iqra' method can improve the ability to recognize hijayyah letters in children aged 5-6 years in the Sayang Daye environment, Sayang Sayang Village, Cakranegara District, Mataram City which is carried out optimally.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of development of language skills and learning media used in improving children’s language skills. This study was conducted to determine the effect of animated films on improving the language skills of children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Taroto Jaya, Bantu Village, Bantulanteh Village. This study uses a quantitative method of Pre experimental design experiment with a one group pre-test post-test design. The sample in this study were children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Taroto Jaya Dusun Bantu Sumbawa, a total of 21 people consisting of 13 girls and 8 boys. Sampling in this study used non-probability sampling where all members of the population were used as samples. Data collection techniques using observation sheets and documentation. The analysis technique includes normality test, hypothesis testing, and statistical hypothesis. The results showed that there was a significant effect on language skills of 0.000, smaller than 0.5 (0.000 < 0.05), which means that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. In conclusion, there is a significant effect of the use of animated films Nussa and Rara on improving the language skills of children aged 4-5 years, so that the use of animated film as learning media can be maintained to improve children’s language skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the learning methods used by teachers in developing the independence of children aged 5-6 years in Pringgabaya District, East Lombok Regency, for the 2020/2021 academic year. This type of research is survey research. The sampling technique in this study was random sampling, with data collection methods, namely interviews and questionnaires. Questionnaires were distributed to 30 teachers who teach children aged 5-6 years (group B) in Pringgabaya District, East Lombok Regency. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive quantitative with the percentage formula. The results of the acquisition of the percentage of research identification of learning methods in developing children's independence are as follows: The method of giving the task gets the percentage of 94%, the question and answer method 93%, the project method 92%, the playing method 90%, the singing method 83%, the storytelling method 73%, the field trip method obtained a percentage of 70%. Based on the percentage results that have been obtained, it can be concluded that each learning method has a good influence in developing children's independence seen from the results of a fairly high percentage, but the majority of group B teachers in Pringgabaya District, East Lombok Regency, for the 2020/2021 academic year, tend to use this method. giving assignments as for the types of activities carried out by teachers in developing children's independence, namely free drawing, meronce, stamping techniques, collages, knowing geometric shapes, printing, with the highest percentage acquisition of 94%.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the traditional game of Gotri in improving gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Melati, Nyurlembang Village, Narmada District in 2021. This type of research uses R&D development with 3 stages of development consisting of planning, implementation, and evaluation/reflection. The subjects of this study were 10 children aged 5-6 years. The research method used was observation and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis. This study can develop children's gross motor skills through traditional buckshot games with the following steps: (1) Preparing tools and materials to be used in the buckshot game such as used bottles, small balls and cardboard (2) Before starting the playing activities the teacher invites children to warm up ( 3) Make an agreement to play in the game of buckshot (4) Players line up without scrambling outside the game track (5) Players are given a signal first then run in a zig zag (6) Player rolls a small ball (kasti) from a distance of 1 meter (7) Players roll a small ball towards the target in a bent position (8) Players run to pick up a small ball (colored ball) then put the ball into a cardboard box from a distance of 1 meter. The results showed that the steps of playing buckshot in this study can improve children's gross motor skills, it can be seen in the development stage I reached a percentage of 45.87%, while in the second development stage it increased by 61.90%, and at the development stage III has increased optimally with a percentage of 79.70%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the traditional game of gotri can improve gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at Melati PAUD, Nyurlembang Village, Narmada District in 2021.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the teacher's lack of knowledge in compiling and implementing SOPs to develop the character of early childhood. The preparation and application of SOPs to develop the character of early childhood that is less than optimal can cause the development of children's character to be hampered. The purpose of this study was to find out how the steps for preparing and implementing SOPs were to develop the character of early childhood in Islamic Kindergarten in Mataram City. This type of research is a qualtative. While the research method used is the development method. The research subjects were teachers and school principals. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, FGDs, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and qualitatively sorted according to the evaluation components of context, input, process and product. The result of this research is the formation of a product in the form of SOP to develop the character of early childhood. From this study it can be concluded that the formation of early childhood character can be done by applying SOPs to develop early childhood character. The steps for preparing SOPs to develop the character of early childhood are as follows: The first step is to determine the type of SOP to be compiled. The second step is to determine the character that you want to form in the PAUD unit. The third step is to determine the activities to be carried out based on the competencies that have been determined. The fourth step, Determine the goals for each activity that has been selected. The fifth step is to draw up the steps that will be taken for character development. The sixth step is to draw up SOPs to develop the character of early childhood.

Abstract

Early Mathematics abilities are children's ability to think that leads to mathematical logic related to problem solving and children's ability to recognize numbers, children's ability to count, compare and understand correspondence. Number puzzles are games that involve arranging images or objects that have been broken into several parts. The way to play a puzzle is to separate the separated pieces and then combine them again and form them into an image. The aim is to determine children's beginner mathematical abilities through puzzle games. Data collection techniques were implemented using learning outcomes tests at the end of cycle I and end of cycle II as well as data from observations and student activity. The data collected was analyzed using qualitative and quantitative analysis tests. The results of the study showed that after carrying out two tests, the average for cycle I was 2.59 with a learning completion percentage of 60%, namely 3 students out of 5 were included in the complete category and 40% or 2 students out of 5 were included in the incomplete category. while in cycle II the average score increased to 3.43 with a learning completeness percentage of 80%, namely 4 students out of 5 were included in the complete category and 20% or 1 student out of 5 was included in the incomplete category. This means that there was an increase in the average mathematical ability of beginner students by 0.84 from cycle I to cycle II and an increase in the completeness of learning outcomes by 20% from cycle I to cycle II.

Abstract

Every teacher has a way of instilling religious and moral values in early childhood. But how to instill religious and moral values varies according to the type of teacher's qualifications. The purpose of this study is to find out the theory of learning in instilling religious and moral values in children aged 5-6 years applied by teachers based on teacher qualifications in Praya District of Central Lombok in 2021. The research method used is quantitative with this type of survey research. Data analysis uses percentages. The results showed that pgpaud S1 certified teachers chose behavioristic learning theory at 66.66%, cognitivistic at 100% worship practice, 50% welcome, 50% storytelling, and constructivistic singing at 83.33%, playing 83.33% role. Teachers certified non-S1 PGPAUD chooses cognitivistic learning theory on eating 100%, worship practices 83.33%, singing 100%, welcoming 83.33%, telling 66.66%, playing a role 83.33%. Pgpaud's non-certification master chose behavioristic learning theory at 66.66%, singing 33.33%, cognitivistic on worship practice 100%, singing 33.33%, welcoming 66.66%, telling 83.33%, playing 50% role, and constructivistic singing 33.33%, playing 50%. Non-certification non-S1 PGPAUD teachers chose behavioristic learning theory at eating 66.66%, singing 33.33%, welcoming 50%, telling 50%, cognitivistic at worship practice 100%, singing 33.33%, welcoming 50%, playing a 50% role, and constructivistic on singing 33.33%, playing a role of 50%. So, group B teachers in Praya Subdistrict on average use behavioristic learning theory on the method of implementing eating activities. Kognitivistic learning theory on methods of applying the practice of worship, singing, welcoming, telling, role-playing. Constructivistic theory on methods of application of role-playing.
