Abstract

This research was aimed to evaluate the implementation of authentic assessment of elementary school in Province of Yogyakarta and also to know the obstacles of its implementation. This was an evaluative research by a Stake's evaluation model approach. The results of observation in compare to the standard of assessment should be criteria to determine the succeed. This research subjects were elementary teachers in Province of Yogyakarta. Observation, interview, and documentation were used to gather data. The research showed that: (1) Planning (antecedents) stage or understanding towards authentic assessment planning has not been fulfilled the standard to be categorized as Good with percentage of 68.75%; (2) Process (transaction) or implementation stage that obtained 63.41% in percentage was classified in Good category; (3) Outcome stage or authentic assessment report showed 68.48% in percentage and should be categorized Good. The implementation of authentic assessment in Province of Yogyakarta elementary schools have not 100% met the standard. Therefore, results from this research finding were expected to be tools to improve performance from all stakeholders.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengungkapkan ketercapaian pelaksanaan Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP) dan Kurikulum 2013, di SMK se-Kabupaten Belu yang meliputi: (1) ketercapaian pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilihat dari konteks, input, proses, dan produk, (2) hambatan yang dialami guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan (3) kelebihan dan kekurangan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan kedua kurikulum. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan model CIPP. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa SMK yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik probability sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) hasil evaluasi implementasi KTSP dan Kurikulum 2013 dilihat dari segi konteks, input proses dan produk termasuk dalam kategori sangat berhasil; (2) hambatan utama yang dialami guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan KTSP adalah keterbatasan literatur sedangkan hambatan utama dalam Kurikulum 2013 adalah kesulitan dalam membuat format penilaian pembelajaran; (3) pada KTSP guru fleksibel dalam mengembangkan kurikulum, namun mengalami keterbatasan literatur. Kurikulum 2013 mampu meningkatkan kreativitas guru dan siswa, namun sulit dipahami.Kata kunci: evaluasi, implementasi, CIPP AN EVALUATION OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF KTSP CURRICULUM 2013 AT VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BELU REGENCY, EAST NUSA TENGGARAAbstractThe aim of this research was to reveal the achievement level of Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP) and Curriculum 2013 implementation at Vocational High School (SMK) in Belu, including: (1) the achievement level of teaching processes based on context, input, process, and output; (2) teacher’s constraints in the implementation of teaching processes; and (3) the strengths and the weaknesses of teaching process of the two curriculums. This study was an evaluation research using quantitative descriptive approach and CIPP model. The subjects of this research were teachers and students of vocational high school in Belu, East Nusa Tenggara, chosen by using probability sampling technique. The results of this study show that: (1) the result of evaluation on KTSP and Curruculum 2013 implementation in terms of context, input, process and output is considered as highly successful; (2) the teachers’ main contraint in teaching by using KTSP is the lack of literature, whilein teaching by using Curriculum 2013, their main constraint is the lack of proper skills in creating the learning assessment form; (3) By using KTSP, teachers have flexibility in developing the curriculum but they have to face the lack of the literature. Whereas, the implementation of Curriculum 2013 can improve teachers’ and students’ creativity, but it is difficult to be understood.Keywords: evaluation, implementation, CIPP

Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid and reliable self-rating scale instrument for measuring Self-Directed Learning (SDL) skills. This DDI study follows the steps of Hinkin’s development (1995) which consists of five stages: creating an item pool, expert conclusion, implementation, confirmatory factor analysis, and reliability analysis. The self-rating scale developed in this study consisted of sixty statements accompanied by a 1-5 Likert scale. Based on the factors analysis, 16 items were still in the draft and 44 items were declared valid and reliable. Five factors that are determined are: awareness (8 items, α = 0.717), learning strategies (9 items, α = 0.806), and learning activities (7 items, α = 0.777), evaluation (8 items, α = 0.790), and interpersonal skills (12 items, α = 0.907). The reliability coefficient (Cronbach Alpha) of the self-rating scale is α = 0.933, with the required reliability criteria is 0.5. On a scale conversion of 1-100, the student’s highest score of SDL skills is 93, and the lowest score SDL skills are 31 (SD = 20.334).

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan cut score (batas lulus) ujian nasional mata pelajaran akuntansi dengan menggunakan metode Group Contrast dan Bookmark. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Data berupa perangkat UN kompetensi kejuruan teori akuntansi tahun 2009 dan respon peserta dari dokumen sebanyak 8 SMK Bisnis dan Manajemen di wilayah Kota Yogyakarta sebanyak 314 peserta didik. Analisis data butir tes dilakukan secara klasik dengan program microcat Iteman, sedangkan analisis secara modern (Rasch Model) menggunakan program AcerConQuest. Judgment ahli digunakan dalam penentuan cutscore. Cut score yang dihasilkan dengan metode Group Contrast adalah sebesar 63,09 (skala 100) dan dengan metode Bookmark adalah sebesar 68,96 (Respon Probability/RP 0,67) dan 67,36 (RP 0,5). Metode Bookmark relatif lebih akurat dalam menentukan cut score karena butir diungkap parameter indeks kesukarannya kemudian dilakukan analisis kemampuan peserta tes dengan menggunakan model Rasch atau Teori Respon Butir, dan adanya judgment ahli.Kata kunci: batas lulus, metode group contrast, metode bookmark

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengembangkan instrumen evaluasi kinerja guru yang valid dan reliabel, (2) mengevaluasi kinerja guru Fisika, Biologi, dan Kimia SMA yang sudah terser-tifikasi/menerima tunjangan profesi. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh guru Fisika, Biologi dan Kimia SMA tersertifikasi/pene-rima tunjangan profesi yang berada di Kota Banda Aceh, Kabupaten Aceh Besar dan Kabupaten Pidie. Validitas konstruk instrumen yang dikembangkan dibuktikan melalui analisis fak-tor, dan reliabilitasnya diestimasi dengan rumus alpha Cron-bach. Analisis tingkat kinerja ditentukan dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) instrumen yang dikembang-kan terdiri atas 33 butir pernyataan, dan memiliki koefisien reliabilitas konsistensi internal sebesar 0,953; (2) kinerja guru Fisika, Biologi, dan Kimia SMA yang sudah lulus sertifikasi dan sudah menerima tunjangan belum seluruhnya berkinerja tinggi; (3) kinerja guru Kimia relatif lebih baik dari pada kinerja guru Biologi dan guru Fisika. Kata kunci: evaluasi, kinerja guru, validitas, reliabilitas     ______________________________________________________________AN EVALUATION OF THE PERFORMANCE OF CERTIFIED SCIENCE TEACHERS (PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY AND BIOLOGY) OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS AbstractThis study was aimed at (1) developing a valid and reliable performance evaluation instruments for teachers, and (2) evaluating the level of Physics, Biology and Chemistry teachers of senior high schools who have been certified and received theprofession allowance. The population of this study included all certified Physics, Biology and Chemistry teachers of senior high schools who have received profession allowance in Banda Aceh, Aceh Besar, and Pidie. The construct validity of the instrument developed was assessed through factor analysis, and the reliability was estimated by using Cronbach's Alpha formula. The level of teachers'performance was analyzed by the percentage. The result of the research shows that (1) the instrument developed consists of 33 items, and has an internal consistency reliability coefficient of 0,953, (2) not all certified high school teachers who have received profession allowance and teach Physics, Biology and Chemistry show high performance, and (3) the performance of Chemistry teachers is relatively higher than that of Physics and Biology teachers. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan efektivitas model AMOVIE dalam meningkatkan kemampuan teacherpreneur; (2) menganalisis dukungan penerapan model AMOVIE; dan (3) mengidentifikasi hambatan untuk menjadi teacherpreneur. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif evaluatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta program kemitraan guru SMK dengan DUDI tahun 2014 dan 2015. Sampel ditetapkan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling pada 120 peserta program. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) penerapan model AMOVIE terbukti efektif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan teacherpreneur dari unsur karya inovatif pembelajaran; pengembangan diri, memperoleh penghasilan tambahan dari produksi barang dan jasa; (2) implementasi model AMOVIE mendapat dukungan izin, dana dan bimbingan selama OJT; dan (3) hambatan untuk menjadi teacherpreneurantara lain kurang motivasi pribadi (23,3%); kurang menguasai IPTEK modern (30%); kualitas (78,3%) dan kuantitas (52,05%) sarana dan prasarana untuk praktikum di SMK masih kurang dan beban kerja administrasi sekolah berlebihan (62,5%).Kata kunci: AMT, OJT, visual exhibition, teacherpreuneur EFFECTIVENESS OF AMOVIE MODEL FOR IMPROVING TEACHERPRENEUR CAPABILITYAbstractThe research aims to: (1) determine the effectiveness of the AMOVIE model in enhancing the teacherpreneur capability (2) analyze the support for AMOVIE model implementation; and (3) identify the obstacles to be teacherpreneur. This research used evaluative approach involving 120 participants of a partnership program between vocational teachers with industry. Data were obtained through questionnaires, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniqques. The results showed: (1) the implementation of the AMOVIE model was effective to improve the teacherpreneur ability in the aspects of inovative work of learning, continuing professional development (CPD), earning extra income from the production of goods and services; (2) the implementation of the AMOVIE model gets support for: permits, funding and guidance for OJT; and (3) the obstacles to be teacherpreneur are: lack of personal motivation (23.3%); not mastering modern science and technology (30%); quality (78.3%) and quantity (52.05%) insufficient facilities and infrastructure in vocational schools, and excessive workload of school administration (62.5%).Keywords: AMT, OJT, Visual exhibition, teacherpreuneur

Abstract

Studi ini menggunakan simulasi Monte Carlo dilakukan untuk melihat pengaruh ukuran sampel dan intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) terhadap bias estimasi parameter multilevel latent variable modeling. Kondisi simulasi diciptakan dengan beberapa faktor yang ditetapkan yaitu lima kondisi ICC (0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20, 0.25), jumlah kelompok (30, 50, 100 dan 150), jumlah observasi dalam kelompok (10, 20 dan 50) dan diestimasi menggunakan lima metode estimasi: ML, MLF, MLR, WLSMV dan BAYES. Jumlah kondisi keseluruhan sebanyak 300 kondisi dimana tiap kondisi direplikasi sebanyak 1000 kali dan dianalisis menggunakan software Mplus 7.4. Kriteria bias yang masih dapat diterima adalah < 10%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bias yang terjadi dipengaruhi oleh ukuran sampel dan ICC, penelitian ini juga menujukkan bahwa metode estimasi WLSMV dan BAYES berfungsi lebih baik pada berbagai kondisi dibandingkan dengan metode estimasi berbasis ML.Kata kunci: multilevel latent variable modeling, intraclass correlation coefficients, Metode Markov Chain Monte Carlo THE IMPACT OF SAMPLE SIZE AND INTRACLASS CORRELATION COEFFICIENTS (ICC) ON THE BIAS OF PARAMETER ESTIMATION IN MULTILEVEL LATENT VARIABLE MODELING: A MONTE CARLO STUDYAbstractA monte carlo study was conducted to investigate the effect of sample size and intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) on the bias of parameter estimates in multilevel latent variable modeling. The design factors included (ICC: 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20, 0.25), number of groups in between level model (NG: 30, 50, 100 and 150), cluster size (CS: 10, 20 and 50) to be estimated with five different estimator: ML, MLF, MLR, WLSMV and BAYES. Factors were interegated into 300 conditions (4 NG  3 CS  5 ICC  5 Estimator). For each condition, replications with convergence problems were exclude until at least 1.000 replications were generated and analyzed using Mplus 7.4, we also consider absolute percent bias <10% to represent an acceptable level of bias. We find that the degree of bias depends on sample size and ICC. We also show that WLSMV and BAYES estimator performed better than ML-based estimator across varying sample sizes and ICC's conditions.Keywords: multilevel latent variable modeling, intraclass correlation coefficients, Markov Chain Monte Carlo method

Abstract

Dalam menghadapi tantangan dan permasalahan abad kedua puluh satu ini, pendidikan tinggi memiliki peran yang sangat strategis. Mata kuliah Skripsi dapat berperan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan guna menghadapi tantangan dan masalah yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi proses pembimbingan skripsi dari perspektif teori pembelajaran orang dewasa, hambatan dan upaya yang dilakukan mahasiswa dan dosen dalam proses penulisan skripsi mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sebagai sampel adalah mahasiswa yang sudah menyelesaikan penulisan skripsi, dan dosen pembimbing. Keduanya diambil secara purposif. Jumlah responden adalah 190 orang mahasiswa dan 53 orang dosen. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket. Data yang diperoleh melalui angket dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) proses pembimbingan cenderung sudah menggunakan prinsip pembelajaran orang dewasa, yang lebih menekankan pada proses belajar mandiri; (2) hambatan yang dihadapi meliputi substansi dan metode penelitian, kemampuan bahasa asing, psikologis, dan kelengkapan sumber referensi; dan (3) upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi hambatan meliputi peningkatan motivasi diri, berusaha sendiri dan pemberian kesempataan dosen pada mahasiswa untuk menyampaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi. EVALUATION OF UNDERGRADUATE THESIS MENTORING PROCESS IN UNIVERSITAS NEGERI YOGYAKARTA BASED ON ADULT LEARNING PERSPECTIVEAbstractIn facing the twenty-first century’s challenges and problems, higher education plays a very strategic role. Undergraduate thesis can contribute in developing the ability to address the challenges and problems. This study aims at evaluating the process of mentoring through the lens of adult learning theory by looking at the students’ and lecturers’ obstacles and efforts in the process of thesis writing among college students. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a purposively selected sample of 190 students who have completed their thesis writing, and 53 supervisors. The data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed descriptively in percentages. The results show that: (1) the process of mentoring tends to have used the principle of adult learning with more emphasis on self-directed learning; (2) the encountered obstacles include research substance and methods, foreign language abilities, psychological factors, and reference sources; and (3) some activities done to overcome the obstacles include improving self-motivation, self-effort, and providing opportunities for the students to consult their problems to the lecturer.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari penelitian pengembangan asesmen kinerja literasi sains berbasis STEM pada pembelajaran fisika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan validitas isi, validitas empiris, dan reliabilitas instrumen asesmen kinerja literasi sains berbasis STEM yang sebelumnya telah disusun. Instrumen yang dikembangkan berupa lembar pengamatan dan tes pilihan ganda. Analisis validitas isi dari lembar pengamatan menggunakan Koefisien V oleh Aiken sedangkan validitas isi instrumen tes dianalisis dengan menggunakan CVI (Content Validity Index) oleh Lawshe. Validitas empiris reliabilitas instrumen tes diestimasi dengan IRT (Item Response Theory). Reliabilitas lembar pengamatan ditentukan dengan ICC (Item Correlation Coefficient). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) Lembar pengamatan berupa rubrik penskoran dan penilaian diri  terbuktivalid dengan koefisien  V Aiken 0,75 dan reliabel dengan koefisien Reliabilitas Alfa > 0,8 dan ICC yang Excellent. (2) Instrumen tes terbukti realiabel untuk digunakan pada peserta didik dengan kategori sedang sampai dengan tinggi (-0,7 sampai dengan 6,7 ) dengan CVI=1 dan INFIT MNSQ sesuai model Rasch. The kind of instruments were developed are observational sheet and multiple choice test. The content validity of observational sheet was revealed by used the Aiken's V Coefficient. The content validity of multiple choice tests was revealed by used Content Validity Index (CVI) which proposed by Lawshe. The empirical validity and reliability of multiple choice tests was revealed by used Item Response Theory Analysis. The reliability of observational sheet was revealed by used ICC (Item Correlation Coefficient) Analysis. The results of this study are the validity from the contents and empirical trials from the developed instruments. The observation sheet from scoring rubric and self-assessment has been valid with Aiken's V value that exceeds the standard of 0,75. The reliability of the scoring rubric has Alfa Reliability> 0.8 and Excellent of ICC. Validity values from The written test is shown with CVI of 1 and the MNSQ INFIT value which match to the Rasch model. Based on the TIC and SEM graphs, the written test is stated to be reliable for use in students with moderate to high categories (-0.7 to 6.7).
